Dionysos Hotel Mykonos - Mykonos

Fin beliggenhet nær stranda, fint basseng, god frokost, hyggelig betjening, rolig område. Rommet lå i et eget bygg noen meter borte fra selve hovedbygget og det var nokså lytt i veggene. Vi måtte betale noen euro ekstra pr. natt for vår sønn, dette var litt uventet men ok, da vi ble oppmerksom på dette i prospektet for hotellet. Transport til og fra […] hotellet er ikke inkludert. Taxi koster 10 - 13 euro til flyplass og båthavn. Alt i alt var vi godt fornøyd med oppholdet og kan anbefale hotellet til andre gjester. Les mer

Better hotels can be found for the money. We paid and the hotel needed upgrades to warrant the price. The location was nice but is not located on the beach. I recommned the hotel madlena which we also stayed at.

We loved this place as it was about a 20 metre walk to the beach which was also really nice. We had an ocean view room and a comfy bed.

The hotel is rather clean and well located, staff is pretty friendly and the inclusive breakfast is nice. The showers dont have curtains so the restroom becomes a mess and there seems to be a little bit of a salty taste to the water when you are showering. Overall its a good hotel if you arent looking for all the fancy ammenities of a resort.

This is a nice, pleasant hotel. The girl at the lobby was quite friendly when we walked in, and the hotel itself is in good condition. The bathroom was really clean and the room was clean too, with a really nice terrace. The buildings are really cute, whitewashed with dashes of colors and bright wildflowers around. The pool was nice but we didn't use […] it, since the beach was literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The beach, Ornos, is really nice and calm though the water is cold, even when it's hot out. Mykonos town is not so close to walk to, but we didn't have any problems since a taxi there would cost us around 5 euro. There is a bus stop at the beach but we waited for two hours and it never came, so don't rely too much on it. There are super nice restaurants on the beach though, so at night you can definitely visit one of them. I definitely recommend Kuzina, and maybe reserve beforehand so you can get a table on the sand and really close to the water. The atmosphere there was great, super sophisticated. Also Ithaki is really interesting since it serves mexican, thai, italian and other cuisine! Breakfast was included and it was a standard, continental breakfast...the breakfast lady was really nice! We had a good stay at this hotel. I agree with one of the reviews below that the tap water was salty, but surely it's salty everywhere on the island and it's really not a problem at all. This hotel is a good place to stay in Mykonos, and it's not as expensive as other hotels! Les mer

Hotel was great and in a very good area, only 5 min drive from downtown a one minute walk to the beach which was very convenient. The nearby shops and restaurants were very handy. Hotel staff were far beyond excellent as they met all our needs and were happy to answer all our questions.

Turned up at 2am due to earlier ferry, smooth check-in. Upgraded to premium renovated room with balcony out to the pool. Large room, clean facilities, helpful and professional owners/staff. Very close to the beach. Nothing new on the breakfast menu but decent quality. I traveled to Mykonos for a special vacation with my sister. Our goal was to relax and enjoy the Greek beaches, people, and food. The Dionysos was perfect for this! Situated in a quieter part of Mykonos, this is the perfect place to go to relax on the beaches and enjoy some of the great Greek restaurants on the island. Ornos Beach was a 1-minute walk […] from the hotel, along with several excellent restaurants right on the beach. With beach chairs and service, it made for perfectly relaxing days in the sun. There are also boats from this beach that will take you to beaches all over the island for a small fee. Also, Ornos is located 2 kilometers from the main port on Mykonos, an easy walk to the shopping and restaurants there. In addition to the great location, we fell in love with the hotel manager, Nikos. We had questions for him every day that he was always happy to answer, he was very friendly, and very helpful. His staff was always responsive and friendly. Nikos set up an excursion for us to the island of Delos where we had an excellent tour guide to lead us through the ancient city. The amenities at the hotel were also great--they have a nice workout room at the back of the hotel, their pool is wonderful, and the wireless internet was included in our room fee. A delicious breakfast was served poolside every morning with eggs, sausage, bruschetta, breads, pastries, yogurt, honey, olives, coffees, etc. If I return to Mykonos, I'm definitely staying at the Dionysos. We had a wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer!! Les mer

This hotel was advertised as a 4 star but was at best a 2 star. The rooms were not clean, accommodations were primitive, tap water was salty, the towels were old and ragged, the refrigerator did not work, TV had only 4 channels and over all not what we expected from a 4 star establishment. Whatever you do - do not stay here. I don't care if it the cheapest hotel on the island; the pictures are not as they appear. We got to the hotel and there was an uneasy feeling about the place. The owners husband was less than polite. The bell boy, had a dirty shirt and shorts and was trying to grab our luggage. We proceeded to check in to get to our […] room. We walked inside and the room was something you would find in a hostile. Basic with beds that date back to the early 1980's. The room smelled, the comforters were gross and old. The towels in the bathroom were thin and ragged. Like an old dirty dish towel. To top it off, the door DIDN'T LOCK!!!! It locked from the outside, not the inside where it should have been locked. We IMMEDIATELY took our stuff and left. We checked out and the husband kept getting aggressive with us as to why we were leaving. Luckily we had our cell phone and we got another hotel arranged for us. They picked us up at this dirt hole and we went far, far away to the other side of the island. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Les mer

Very friendly service. Good location if you want to be in between the main town of chora and the famous paradise beach. We rented ATVs and were able to travel easily to these locations. There is a beach nearby, but it is not that quality. The service was friendly and the rooms were very nice. Nous avons passé 6 jours à l'hotel Dyonisos à Mykonos. L'hotel est très bien situé à quelques pas de la plage d'Ornos et de l'arrêt de bus. pour le reste, l'hotel ne correspond pas du tout à un 4 étoiles mais à un 2 étoiles. La propreté des chambres laissait à désirer, des cheveux partout... et le petit déjeuner une catastrophe : pas de jus avec des […] fruis frais, machine à café marchait une fois sur deux, manque de pain.... hotel comodo funzionale ed in posizione tranquilla e soprattutto vicinissimo ad una gra bella spiaggia. Il personale ed i proprietari sono stati veramente carini ed accoglienti,direi simpatici cosa un po rara in luoghi cosi turistici. oooook!!!!!
