"Nice lake view from front rooms."
A nice little place to stay if your doing anything around lake Erie, nice central location. Our room was nice with a whirlpool and king size bed. Not as clean as some other hotels but not dirty either. The breakfast is so so with just fruit cereal and a waffle maker. But right across the street is a Big Boy with an excellent breakfast buffet. Do wish […] i would've know it wasn't actually lakeside though just with a view of the lake. Overall not bad. Les mer

This was a pleasant surprise. Very nice and helpful staff.

Great value for price, esp with views of Lake Erie. Kind of an industrial neighborhood. OK breakfast. Wireless internet was not working while we were there, which was disappointing. Nice flat-screen TV. Comforters and blankets were a little gross, but sheets were fresh and bathroom was clean.
"Close to Cedar Point"
We stayed here before returning home from Cedar Point. The value was the best around area. Prob. not the best hotel around but, it gets the job done. We stay in very nice hotels usually. So overall it wasnt horrible for an overnight stay. Would stay there again for one night
"hotel near the Ferry at Catawaba"
This was convenient for our trip on the Ferry to Put n Bay.The cleaning lady was helpful when our coffee pot was not cooperating in our room . A good place to stay for a quick trip to the Bay.
"Good hotel for price and location to Cedar Point"
The hotel is older and needs a little work. The staff person when we checked in was really nice but went downhill from there. The hotel is two story but has NO ELEVATOR! you have to drag your luggage up the stairs if you get a second story room so if your back cannot handle it ask for a first floor room. The room worked for what we needed it for, great […] view of the lake, convenient location for going to Cedar Point for the day but the pool closes at 10 pm which was disappointing because it is very hot and was nice outside so to be able to be out there later would have been better. The breakfast was good, nice variety, the waffles were very good, the kids loved it and we all in all hade a good time. would go back again if we did Cedar Point again. Les mer

Clean, quiet . . . staff very personable! Outside pool available . . . nice for family -- we could watch the kids in the pool in the comfort of the Air Conditioning! Have been there twice and would do it again . . .

The hotel was easy to find and the check in went smoothly. The room was clean and breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is across the street from Lake Erie and was very convenient to the places we wanted to visit.
"The Bewt Western Inn Port Clinton OH"
The hotel is conveniently located right off of highway 2 in Port Clinton, within walking distance to one of the ferry lines to the lake erie islands. We chose to drive to another ferry line about 7-8 miles from the hotel because of the lower cost. The hotel is average but there are several places to eat nearby. "Not what expected"
the hotel was not what we expected. This hotel had pretty good ratings and we were disappointed when we pulled into the parking lot. The outside of the hotel was not kept up - the room was even worse. there was a very musty smell in the room and everything was outdated and worn-looking. The bathroom had several cracks in the tile and ceiling. They only […] gave us 1 small bottle of shampoo and two bars of soap. we also found either gnats or fleas on the bedspreads. "Port Clinton Best Western"
Extremely clean. Personel very efficient and freindly. Breakfast was more than expected. Location is central to local attractions.
"Inexpensive"
Everything worked out well for the money. One of the least expensive hotels we could find. Room was comfortable, staff was good, morning breakfast was adequate. We would recommend this to all travellers working with a budget. Location was convenient.
"Very nice hotel"
This was a very nice hotel. We were a little shy about booking this hotel but were very happy once we got there. It is right accross the street from Lake Erie, and just a block or two from a small beach area. I would love to stay there again!
"Best Western, Port Clinton"
Convenient location, tucked just a little off of the main drag. Quiet. Only 1 mile to Jet Express. Across from beach access. All employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is more than expected. Most importantly EVERYTHING was spotless! Thank you Best Western, Port Clinton.
