"pleasant stay"
We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean & well appointed. Breakfast choses were more then I expected. The only problem was location because I chose the wrong Best Western as I was traveling to Lurking twice a day, but that was my fault. Ice machine was on the other side of the building. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Rooms included lots of amenities: soap, shampoo dispensers, coffee maker, microwave, and iron.

"Unfriendly"
The front desk personnel was unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked for directions, I was handed a terrible map with no details and receved a "thank you" response. I had to ask where am I and was told the hotel location is technically not on the map provided. When I asked for better directions, the person at the front desk huffed as if she were exasperated […] and ended up giving me wrong directions, nearly sending me back out of town. Les mer

Hotel looked decent on web site but was very "average". Out-of-the-way from the college. Must have been a party going on right below us because I could here about 20 people in the room. Woke us up at 3:45 with a verbal fight outside that lasted about an hour. Guess I should have called the front desk to take care of it. Was not impressed with the hotel […] at all and felt like it was not in a "safe" area. Will not go back. Les mer

it seem that alot of repair men were oing work around the hotel and were always coming and going in the rooms next to us and banging on walls, just had eye surgery and trying to recover.
"Good value for the money"
This is not a fancy hotel, but the room was very clean, the bathroom didn't have any mold, the lighting was more than adequate, and the front desk staff were very nice. I've stayed in other budget hotels in Nacogdoches, and this was by far the best. It's a quick shot to SFA or downtown. i'll stay here again.

Was very conveniently located for all we wanted and very friendly staff. One complaint: A college group drinking at the outdoor(of what we thought was inappropriate) pool that is for families and of young children. No Postings however in regard to.
"Smokey and Stained!!!"
We stayed at this hotel for Parents weekend at the local University. We could not find a room anywhere in town that had avaliblity. I should have know when they had a room open that something was wrong!!! I guess our room was a smoking room ( they never told me it was smoking or if I would mind a smoking room) IT WAS AWFUL!!! The smell about knocked […] you over when you walked in....then I noticed a hugh stain on the bedding...I brought it to the attention of the cleaning lady that was next door cleaning and she stated " it is ok it is not stained where you sleep!!" REALLY??? Come on who wants to sleep on stained bedding and really what was it??? YUCK!!! anyway we made it throught the night and reported it to thr front office...they really did not care and did not even offer to discount the room.....Well need-less to say....WE WON'T BE STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN!!! "Hotel Nacogdoches"
I will give this hotel a better Rating than Holiday Inn but I would suggest going somewhere else to eat due to the manager and service currently at that Resturant next door. The wait staff was fine all the cooks seemed to be talking on cell phones instead of working.
