Shower head was terrible, broken curtain rod and very noisy, the room was across fron pool, outdoor exit, ice & vending machines...not a restful night after a 12 hour drive. We traveled with our dogs and found that the worse rooms are designated for guests with pets unfortunately, and you pay more...go figure.

One of the worst nights I have eer spent in a hotel. The rooms looked old, poorly maintained, and dirtier than I would have liked. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and te pillows were even worse. Slept for maybe 2 hours all night. If you are looking for comfort try somewhere else.

Our stay was fine. My comments are that when I booked this room they told me there was no pet fee. When I got to the hotel they said it was 10 dollars per dog. They need to put that on their website. They also should list that they are pet friendly. They also had white bedspreads on the bed and the room was charged with electricity from the hot dry […] air so dog hair collected on everything. all hotels in Gallup are near the railroad tracks and are noisy all night long. We would not stay there again.

Good enough place, with fixtures, wallpaper, etc., showing signs of deterioration. This seemed a much better location (east area) than the Days Inn in the city center.

Trains going by all night long, right across the street. Stay in West Gallup, not on Route 66! The beds were great, but the motel and room were in need of lots of maintenance.

When we got to our hotel room, there were bottle caps in which I stepped on, on the floor. It looked like our floor wasn't vaccumed because there was lint all over and it got on our clothing, too. When we went to check out, the lady claimed we didn't pay for the third person the second night but did on the first night. We booked on-line and looked at […] the confirmation papers we printed out and it said we paid for everyone both nights. When we told the lady this, she snapped back "You Didn't!" not very kindly. No microwave in the rooms - just one to use in the lobby for everyone train practically runs through the parking lot - all night long shower curtain so long that you stand on it when taking a shower; or flood the floor if you leave leave it outside the tub. water drained very slowly from from tub noisy

Was disappointed with the quality of this Days Inn. It did not come up to the the quality of the other Days Inns I've stayed at. This one was one the east side of town close to the Interstate exit. The breakfast was bare..not offering ehat Days Inns usually puts out for the breakfast. Wow, I was shocked to see people intentionally checking in to this hotel. I had to move here because my other hotel had a problem, and it was eerie to see 40-year-old fixtures and signs and internet that had to be reset once a day to function. I asked for a disabled room, they said that they had none avaiable, which I did unstand, but what does the day manager do, he puts me as far away from an entrance as possible so I have to drag all of my stuff to and from the room from the parking lot. He didn't even tell me about the disabled parking by the pool area nor did he give me a room anywhere […] near to it. They did at least put me on the ground floor, which I did appreciate, I could never have climbed all of those stairs. The staff was friendly and inviting. The rooms were clean with normal wear and tear you would expect. Sheets were clean and the beds were very firm. Room was quiet and I slept well. For the price I would recomned this hotel.

I reserved a room at this hotel for the indoor pool and spa. The spa was out of order and the pool appeared to be dirty. Wood trim on the walls were falling off. There were scuff marks around the door. The balcony door was very hard to open/close. The drapery around the balcony door was ripped. The bathroom shower was in poor condition and the tub faucet […] would run while you were taking a shower. After talking to the front desk 3 times they still could not pronounce my name. And it's not hard if you try a little bit!!!!! The continental breakfast was a joke. Waffles, cereal and toast???? I have never seen a hotel that charged this much, look so terrible. The hotel was a little old and run down. The pool was closed. We requested a late check out they gave us 30 minutes and then called our room 10 minutes after check out and asked us to leave because the maids needed to get in the room. The staff was rude and inconsiderate, we will never stay there again.

Did not like the train that ran by frequently. The room was very nice. Felt odd to stay somewhere that everything (tv, phone etc.) was "bolted down".

We had to wait to check in. Training new person on front desk. Could not park in registration area due to Mangers vehicle parked at front enterence of hote. (it was there all night and I saw manager leave in vehicle in the morning) Pool and jacuzzi spa were unusable. No word from front desk staff notifying about pool. Nice Hotel! There was no elevator for use. We had older ladies with us and lots of supplies, for we were doing a VBS in Red Rock. The staff very helpful to carry our things up stairs. There is no AC in the hallways. Up stairs gets very hot during the evenings. Brandon was awesome and had cookies for us every evening. Thank you Brandon!

ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT AS A STOP OVER ON OUR VACATION. IT HAD ALL THE THINGS WE NEEDED. IT WAS COMFORTABLE AND ROOMY.

I have previously stayed in another Days Inn in Gallup, but this one is much better, it is cleaner, the staff was quite friendly and helpful, and when I go through Gallup again I will stay there.

The picture on internet looks good it was hard to get in room with key and back door you would have avert hard time getting out hot tub not very warm closet door don't touch could break other than that wouldn't recommend

Very nice hotel, clean, facilities new. Only negative thing is the breakfast. The hotel also does not have elevator.

It is not a five star hotel. Quality for price, excellent. Hot tub and pool are descent. Our rom was clean, reasonably furnished, and comfortable. A chair for the table would have been nice. While our room, billed as The Presidential Suite, was comfortable there were some glaring items missing that one would ordinarily consider standard in a "suite," such as paper and pen, enough toilet paper to last until the next morning, usually a mini fridge and a microwave. rooms were okay, not what I would have expected but okay. What bothered me most was the overpowering smell of currie that permeates every nook and cranny of the hotel. I suppose that for some it's okay but it was not to my taste.

This hotel is showing its age and there has been a poor level of upkeep. Wallpaper is peeling, carpets are old and stained and there was a bucket under a leak in the hallway. The suite we stayed in had a very weird layout with a sort of living room off to the side with the jacuzzi tub in it and an armchair and sofa. The TV was in the bedroom part, so […] if you were sitting on the sofa, the entertainment would be watching whoever might be in the tub. The table provided, where I set up my laptop, had an armchair which required pillows to bring me up to a height where I could use the computer, and there was only one outlet. We had intended to sleep in, however another guest chose to start his very powerful sounding truck at 5:30 AM. The tailpipe of this vehicle was about 5 feet from our bed and right next to the heating system which conducted exhaust fumes into the room while the truck idled for 10 minutes or so before the owner drove away. If you stay in this hotel I recommend getting a second floor room, as long as you can climb stairs - no elevator. The continental breakfast was of the minimalist variety. All that being said, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They just need a better facility to run. Les mer

Plus: The room was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, the water was hot with great pressure, shower head placed high enough, I had a room with a sliding glass door so I was able to easily take my dog out for walks, all the staff I interacted with were pleasant, unsecured wireless link but the signal was strong and worked quickly, the heater quickly […] warmed up the room. Minus: no mention in Expedia profile that the hotel charges $10 for pets (all the other hotels I've used I knew ahead of time if they charged a pet fee), overpowering smell of deodorant or men's cologne in the room, I hadn't touched the clock but the alarm went off in the middle of the night, several large spots of missing veneer on the dresser, arm of floor lamp bent, lots of dog poop in the gravel areas (dog owners please pick up after your dogs). I might stay here again some time, but think it's a bit overpriced. Next month I plan to try a less expensive hotel. Les mer

We had our 3 kids with us. We loved the huge heated pool and hot tub. It was really nice and did not have any strong chlorine smell like most pools. The rooms were nice and clean and were able to park next to patio door to go right into the room. The only negative was the breakfast was very limited. The hotel was lovely and very comfortable. The service, however, was terrible. Room service barged in 3 times, and also we were told that we could check out at 11:30 and at 10:50 we were called and yelled at by some lady who threatened to charge us for an extra night then hung up on us.

Checked in late, clean room and very comfortable bed (which is really what you need). A little run down, but I heard the manager telling someone on the phone that a full upgrade is scheduled. Good price as well.
