Rommene var rene og pene. Rett i nærheten lå et greit lite sted med god frokost.10 min fra hotellet med buss lå et svært shopping senter (Golf Mill)

We chose this hotel based on reviews from previous customers. Room was clean and spacious ( upgraded to suite as we checked in late). Bed was comfy and the bathroom towels etc. were changed on a daily basis. Continental breakfast provided enough from bagels and bread to cereal and boiled eggs. Friendly staff.

We had a very nice time at this hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will be staying here again in the future.

You get what you pay for. The motel was ok, but not the best. Bed was updated but the bathroom and carpets need updating. You could hear the people in the room above you walking around so it's not quiet. The parking here is awful. We left for dinner and drinks and when we returned, there was no parking at all. The lady at the Reception Desk was very rude to us and told us that we had the wrong hotel as there was no reservation in my name even though we had received confirmation of reservation well in advance! When we showed her the confirmation printout, she backtracked and said "oh they had your name in the wrong sequence" which did not make any sense, she […] could have at least double-checked her list before she told us that we were not on it! This was a real mixed bag. The location was convenient but the neighborhood was not great. The room had comfortable beds but it smelled musty. The air conditioning was unpredictable. At times it was too hot and then it got unbearably cold. The bathtub drain did not work. It kept closing such that you would be standing in a couple of inches of water. The […] pool was a real disappointment. After a long hot day on the road we wanted to relax in the pool but it was way too cold to do that. Do they even heat the pool? It appeared that there were people actually living in this hotel permanently. They were quite loud and several of the teenagers were up at all hours and running around. That left us feeling unsafe. The breakfast was okay. However, they did not have decaf coffee. Who doesn't have decaf these days? They did have make-your-own waffles, cereal, bagels, and fruit. If you just want a comfy bed and a basic breakfast, then this place is okay. If you want more amenities, look somewhere else. Les mer

It was a nice motel they were doing some remodeling at the time we were there. Pool was nice, staff was good.

The key reader had gone down and anytime we wanted back into our room we had to ask to be let in. We arrived on a monday and finally received a key on Wednesday but we were leaving that thursday. Then we had a lot of trouble getting the key to actually unlock the door.

Didn't like the neighborhood.. We had to move to another room when we got there and they where very accomodating. . The outlets need to be updated and some did not work

This hotel was clean and convenient for our one-night stay in North Kansas City. We spent the day at Worlds of Fun, and finished the day with dinner at Kelso's and dessert at Dairy Queen. The hotel's front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful in providing directions.

Pros: great friendly management and service, nice bed, good shower. Cons: walls are paper-thin and we could hear neighbors from all directions. The room doors open up to the outside, and children would knock on our door randomly and jiggle the door handle. It would drive us crazy.

Great first three nights. Last night swapped rooms to oblidge managements promise to another custumer for connecting rooms. New room,ok, but TV satellite down and phone faulty, but stay was nice and slept well. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. All in all, great ratings.

We needed a night in Kansas City as part of a longer vacation trip. This hotel was convenient to where we were going and we stayed one night. Basic, clean room with standard amenities. Good breakfast area and food offerings, and very helpful desk staff (they printed out a Yahoo map to get us to our destination on checking out). We stayed at this hotel one night while we were in town to go to Oceans/Worlds of Fun. Although it looks a tad far away from the parks on the map, it took us a maximum of 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the park during 4pm "traffic". There is a gas station right next to it, and another hotel across the street. The man at the front desk was very […] helpful and courteous. We didn't get to the breakfast and didn't take a dip in the pool, but both looked very nice. The only thing I would recommend is if you don't like the smell of smoke, definitely make sure to get a non-smoking room. I gave an overall 4 because the neighborhood is a little sketchy. Les mer

Front desk and staff very friendly, rooms where clean and beds very comfortable A very nice location to stay, only 10 minutes from Worlds of Fun. Price was reasonable even included continental breakfast.

Not in the best part of town. We stayed Friday - Monday. Tenants were hanging out in the parking lot and making a good bit of noise. Also, the staff double booked our room, so at 1am, someone starts trying to get into our hotel room, which freaked us out. Overall, I would NOT stay here again due to location and incompetency of staff.

The clerk who us in was rude and argumentative..the room smelled like smoke...it even said non smoking on the ..the room next door was plunge a kennel a pit bull and a jack Russell barked.every time someone came up the stairs...all night!!!!! Worst hotels dot com experience ever

My only comment is that the rate is higher than it should be because of where it's located, the age of the motel, and no pool or hottub. The service was good and the breakfast was good.

Professional front desk service. The surprises come after I checked in. As I enter the room, I noticed one of the queen bed linen has stain on it. Then, the office/work table surface was covered with liquid stains. All the faucets are old and hard to control. The bathroom door is hard to close. The review shown on Hotel.com was way over rated.

The staff was completely at our disposal for any need we might have. We stayed there during a particularly trying time (wake and funeral of my youngest son) and had given the motel's telephone number to friends and relatives who then also booked rooms. I didn't take the opportunity to thank the desk clerk especially, but would like my words passed on […] to him. Under any other circumstances, we would have enjoyed the amenities more. I was impressed with how clean my room was. The room was spacious.It had everything I needed. I had an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, New king size bed.The bed was nice. Very comfortable beds. A/C was slow to cool the room but it was 100+ degrees outside. Very quiet, no noise from other rooms or outside.

My family and I were taking a mini-vacation, including Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. We chose this hotel for the location and price. The room was very clean. And the beds were very comfortable. We stay there while working in KC. The desk personnel are nice & the offerings for breakfast get us started without us having to make an extra stop for something to eat on the way to the job.

This was a pretty dumpy hotel with horrible wifi and outdated everything. The furniture is very used but seemed to be clean. There are other better choices in the area.

We were meeting family in KC for the Chiefs game who had already booked this hotel. We checked the reviews on-line and expected to get what we were paying for. To our suprise, the room had been recently refurbished and was very clean. Beds were also comfy. Continental breakfast was adequate. We got a cheap price for the night... I am glad we didn't pay more than we did. It was okay. Our room had a dirty towel in the bathroom when we arrived so we immediately had concerns about the cleanliness of the room. That put a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of the stay. The hotel was easy to find coming from the airport and right of the highway. Quiet neighborhood. Nice freindly staff. If you plan on spending most of your time downtown or south of the city you may want to stay farther south. But it really only takes a few minutes to get downtown from here.
