Best Western Airport Inn and Suites - Brook Park

The hallway of my room always smelled like smoke, the room was very dusty, floors dirty (gum paper, candy, food particles), headboards had oily smudges and fingerprints, coffee pot was not cleaned properly (it was just rinsed out, not cleaned), i could see coffee stains after housekeeper just rinsed pot, non-slip mat in tub lifting up. liquid stains […] on walls, chipped paint on walls. Housekeeper did not change pillow cases after first day, they just turned them around and they did not do anything to correct the above findings. Housekeeping is just AWFUL! The only bright spots were the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was decent, there was a USA TODAY available everyday, and the front desk people were nice. I was too tired to change rooms, I just wanted to go to bed because I had busy days ahead of me. I will not be choosing this particular hotel again. Les mer

The room and the lobby area were clean. I was worried about smells of smoking (having read reviews of other hotels in the area) but there were none of that. Overall the hotel was good. A minor negative was no fridge in the room. The staff was very helpful and nice. I would stay there again.

I stayed in the same room for two nights. Both nights, I notice the same trash (empty water bottle & used styrofoam bowl) laid on the floor underneath the AC unit. The trashes are visible as I walk toward the AC unit. The cleaning crew should have done a better job than that. All others are fine.

The first night we got there late. We had reserved a smoking room and did not get a smoking room! We went to bed when we got there and in the morning we found a cookie, a penny, a sock and used kleenex on the floor. I also found a dime in the bed aat the bottom-under the sheets. There was dust on everything, except the nightstand and the desk. Evereything […] else was lean. They moved us to a smoking room which was very clean and nice. I can truely say I only have one complaint for this hotel. Our room was clean and nice for the 2 nights that we needed it. We were just minuets from Cleveland & the things we wanted to do/see. The breakfast was nothing special but it was nice to have! The staff were all very friendly & the price was very friendly on my wallet! However, we decided to […] take a dip in the pool one night & I was almost nauseated by how much chemicals were in the water. It was almost to the point where I could not breathe. I've stayed here often and they've recently spruced things up. It's a very good value for the money and the staff is pleasant. Typical continental breakfast - maybe less choice than usual but adequate.

Our room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was fine. The building's age was noticeable in the noisy plumbing. It's situated near a nice neighborhood for walking, but still close to the airport and other amenities. The major problem was on our second night, about a hundred high school basketball players checked in for the weekend. Stayed here for out of town work last month and came back.. great hotel.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub was older than God and had lots of scum floating on top of the water. The pool water was freezing, much colder than it should have been for this time of year. People were eating in the pool room and the next day there was food stuck all over the floor and a plastic knife was found on the […] bottom of the pool. I guess other than that the hotel was fine... Two decent restaurants within walking distance. Outstanding shuttle service to the airport for a very early flight.

The visit to the hotel was good, however kids should not be allowed to play or swim in the hot tub. There were not enough tables or chairs in the pool area. The pool area is a place where people would like to relax in the hot tub and or if kids are playing or peeing in the hot tub water then adults cannot sit in it. When I first walked into the hotel lobby and even room, I was quite impressed for the rate I was charged. After further inspection, the room's window sill was overflowing from condensation on the window. I found a stain on the bed. The pool was dirty and had a bug floating on its back next to me. The staff was less than friendly and preferred to stare […] rather than greet. The event in my stay that bothered me the most was when I received a call about noise level. But that wasn’t all. I received a face to face visit 30 minutes later from staff stating that I would be escorted. I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong, but threatened to be escorted for laughter. Really? I take my laughter where ever I go, hotels included. This was the first hotel I received a complaint about it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone I care about. Les mer

Had a fwe problems. Did Not need the room for 1st. night. I tried to cancel my stay the first night before 6:00PM. Was told I could not do that. Because I booked 3rd party. I only stayed 2 nights. Also 2 of the plug outlets in the room . Only 1/2 of the outlet worked. Did not try the others. The brekfast could also be improved upon. The hallways smelled […] of smoke. Vist was for personal reasons. Apart from a little dificulty with bedside lamp, the room was excellant. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel.

Staff went beyond what they needed to in order to make my visit with family a wonderful memory

We were pleased with our stay at this Best Western Hotel. The room was comfortable, the staff competent and friendly, and the location very convenient to the Cleveland Airport, which was our destination the following morning. I had to wait on someone to come to the desk when I checked in and out, with no bell to let someone know I was there. The surrounding neighborhood was a little edgy, considering I'm a young woman and I was alone. There's not too much to choose from in terms of food for a few miles, unless you're okay with fast food or Bob Evans. The room seemed fairly […] clean until before I showered I noticed shampoo drips all over the walls of the shower. The beds are extremely comfortable. We didn't really get to check much out at the hotel. We were in the Cleveland area for a comedy show at the Improv and the friends we were going with lived close by. So it was more or less just a place to crash. a nice place to stay. Only thing I'd change is the pool hours. Opening at 8 AM is too late for an early morning swim.

Clean and quiet, right off highway. Very nice. Most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel! I received excellent service and assistance...I had a walking boot, because I had just got out of a cast and off crutches. I got a handicapped room, with a seat in the shower, which was a godsend. I was close to the desk and the pool, […] and the desk personnel were so helpful! Breakfast included fresh, make-your-own waffles that were very good. (Otherwise it wasn't spectacular, but you wouldn't go hungry.) Only one minor complaint...no towels in pool area, but received them upon request. -Hotel is right on/off ramp to interstate. -Free breakfast was good -Only 2 restaurants nearby (bob evans & a family restaurant) -Pool/hot tub was nice (but it was closed 1 of the 3 days of our stay) -bed comfortable -Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Very enjoyable stay. What started to be a three night stay, because our daughter is in a hospital. Ended up being over two weeks. Staff is very friendly. Beds nice and comfortable. Even the breakfest bar was good.

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, comfy hotel on a budget. I only had two very small issues: 1- the door keys did not always work, and 2- the electric outlets didn't always work. We stayed for 5 nights and on the 3rd night the electronic room key wouldn't open the door. It was an inconvenience to have to lug everything […] down to the front desk to get new keys. The same thing happened the next day. As for the electric outlets, not all of them worked, and some were so loose that the plug would not stay in. Although these items were a nuisance, I would still recommend the hotel for the cost and cleanliness. Les mer

The room was nice and clean. It was very quiet. Parking could be better.

The hotel was in a perfect location for getting to the Berea Fairgrounds and airport. The only downside that I had was that I was told a shuttle would be available to take our party to and from the fairgrounds but when it came time to pick us up, all their shuttles were all busy. There was value in staying a few minutes from the city - we saved enough money for a nice dinner in town. Everything was great about the hotel except the condition of the carpeting in the lobby and halls. The elevator needed some cleaning of the interior also. They need more than one waffle maker. If you need a place to sleep the bed was clean and Comfortable We went to see friends and play .The pool was so over chlornated it made us sick within twenty minutes for the rest of the night and the stepladder was broken and dangerous. the hot tub was cold and dirty. Not enough towels. We erre truly disapointed.

The hotel is nice for the price and in a good neighborhood. The only bad thing was that the internet was down most of the time we were there.

This hotel was nicely remodeled and decorated. Upon checking in and getting to our room we opened the door to a horrible stench of cig smoke! I thought I had requested a non-smoking room and don't know where the mistake came in weither it was with hotels.com or BW reservations. We have two small children (4 & 2 yrs old) and I was not about to stay in […] that room. I went back to the front desk (with everything in tow) and asked for another room. It took the front desk person some time but she did find us a non-smoking room. (the hotel was booked full!) For that I am grateful! I could not of stayed in the room at all. We enjoyed the room, pool and free breakfast the next morning. We were only there for one night. It was easy to find and a few resturants near by. About 10 - 15 min south of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo which is where we spent two days! Overall a good stay and first experiance with our two kids. Les mer

Our room was dirty with a distinct spell of smoke. Spoke to the manager on duty that night and said in a unfriendly manner "What can I do?" Called hotels.com in the morning and after several phone calls was able to speak to the day manager who eventually changed our room to a much nicer room. However, we had to go thru the inconvenience of packing up […] and moving to the other room. This wasn't settled until about 3pm when my initial phone call was at 9:15am!!!! Therefore, we had to leave our family and go and move all our stuff. We were only there 2 nights. We are extremely disappointed with Hotels.com and also the Radisson. We booked the Radisson basically for their name and figured the hotel would be clean and employ a friendly and helpful staff. We will not be using Hotels.com anytime in the future. Les mer

We didn't make it onto our standby flight so we had to spend the night in cleveland unexpectedly. The room was really clean and nicely up to date the staff was really nice and professional. The shuttle driver was on time friendly and professional. I'd stay there again.

Close to Baldwin Wallace College where we were visiting. Quiet and comfortable

Everything was great.... i was looking for a place to stay close to zoo and childrens meuseum that had a pool. though the pool was a little cold. the room was big and the breakfast every morning was very nice. couldnt ask for a better hotel.

This hotel was accommodating to us regarding an earlier check in so that was good. The rooms are clean. The TV's are older and the breakfast is not very good. I thought this would be one step up from Red Roof or La Quinta, however it seems to be similar in amenities and condition. .

Hotel seems dirty and Fitness Center outdated. I noticed French Fry under Chair in my room it stayed there all weekend. Fitness Center very dirty/dusty. Elevator Floor and Lower Walls very dirty. Room Toilet smelled of urine and pubic hairs behind toilet on Floor were not cleaned both days I was there.

The continetal breakfast was more than I expected the waffles are a fantastic addition you wont find at more pricer hotels. The staff was very, very nice. The room had a moldy smell when we first walked in but the smell was not overwhelming.

Good Value for the price. 12 miles to downtown, breakfast available, clean room, would stay there again.

Great customer service. When we arrived late, there was not a room available for the type I had already paid for so we were upgraded to a suite room at no extra charge. The transport to the airport was wonderful and it was great to leave the car at the hotel. Would definitely stay there again when I need to fly out of Cleveland.

We only stayed overnight, got in late, left early, but he convenience of having an airport shuttle van was worth it all! Very nice hotel, good people who work there, and a very nice room. Close to the airport!
