Our stay with the Best Western was very nice. We have stayed at the other local hotels several times and were satisfied, but we were able to get a good price to stay here so that made our mind up. The bed was extremely hard so the staff put a cushion on the top and that helped a little. The hot breakfast was a nice bonus!

The staff was very nice and helpful. Always had towels for you at the pool! I was surprise how the rooms were so quiet! My grandbaby was in the next room (of course with her mom), I didn't even hear her cry at night! Very clean room! Will stay again oh the rooms were roomy!
"Great Value, No Fuss"
We decided to stay in Fortuna last minute and had no problem getting a room at the Best Western. We got a great rate and the rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and having a mini fridge was a nice bonus! We'd definitely recommended this place to others.

Clean, very clean rooms. Little extras like chocolates, Nutter Butter cookies left near coffee pot w/coffee. Great complimentary breakfast including biscuits and gravy! Nice touch with cookies in the lobby and a bowl of fruit.
"BEST HOTEL"
I've stayed in several hotels the past 2 weeks, some Best Western, some not. This was absolutely hands down the cleanest, aesthetically pleasing both inside and out. The workers were so very helpful and friendly. The location across from the river, what a view! I loved everything about this place!

Stayed at the Best Western Country Inn in Fortuna as our base for a 3-day fishing trip around Humboldt County rivers. Have to honestly say this is the finest Best Western I've ever stayed in, and betters many upscale chains for the quality of the rooms. The beds here were incredibly soft and well-appointed. The bedding was similar to what you'd find in a four-star hotel.

Roomy accomodations, comfortable beds, well kept facility, a best bet. They served a very good complementary warm breakfast.
Had booked a non-smoking room, but not available upon arrival. Had to deal with a stinky room for 3 nights! Other than that, it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and staff was nice.
