koselig lite hotell med hyggelig personal som er veldig. Hjelpsomme og serviceinntilte. Hotellet har helt grei frokost og greie rom. Ellers veldig sentralt beliggenhet og lett å finne frem. Trikkestopp nesten rett utfor hotellet gir lett adkomst til Spa og bad samt metrostasjon , noe som gjør det enkelt å benytte offentlig transport rundt i byen. Hotellet […] ligger i rolig strøk og med kort avstand til severdigheter. Det er ingen restaurant på hotellet,men finnes restaurant rett ved hotellet, finnes også rimelige lokale restauranter i nærheten, ca 5min. Å spasere.. Anbefales. Les mer

Hotellet er lite. det føles som et pensjonat med det samme personalet hver dag. God service og blide ansatte. Minimalt med støy fra gaten. savner å kunne åpne vinduet. Blir litt tett luft med aircondition.

Et helt greit og intimt hotel med god service. Fine rom, men litt uvanlig lite bad. Men du får gjort det du skal. Vanlig enkel frokost, veldig billig minibar. Svært god service i resepsjonen. God beliggenhet for å gå til det meste på begge sider av elva.Vi trivdes godt og kan godt bo her ved et evt senere besøk.

Very central, great people, great service, lovely breakfast. We all will go back to the same hotel next time we are visiting Budapest.

Vi var tre stykker. Fikk et stort rom med god plass. Lyst og rent rom. Gode senger. Veldig hyggelig betjening som snakket godt engelsk og visste det meste. Fint med minibar som også kunne brukes som kjøleskap. Billig var den også. Hyggelig frokost der egg ble tilberedt etter eget ønske. Men litt lite utvalg av pålegg, ingen wienerbrød eller lignende […] og ikke skikkelig grovt brød eller knekkebrød. Men vi ble mette uten problemer. Kommer gjerne igjen. Les mer

Kjempefin, kosellig liten hotell, veldig sentralt til alle severdighetene på Buda. Bra service, koselige små rom.

Vi er meget godt fornøyd med hotellet - dets nærhet til slottsområdet, Fishermans Bastion og alle broene. Trikkeholdeplass ca 200 meter fra hotellet. Hotellet var lite og koselig, hyggelig betjening og bra frokostbuffe. Kan gi hotellet vår beste anbefaling, og vil velge samme hotell om vi reiser til Budapest igjen.

Et bra hotell med sentral beliggenhet i Budaområdet. Trikk rett ved hotellet. Helt fin frokost. Litt lite bad, men et rom med en helt grei størrelse. Anbefales.

Det er et rent hotell, med en hyggelig betjening. Grei frokost, rolig område og sentralt på Buda siden.

Central to city and the castle (10 minutes walk and close to tram and busses). Good service and nice breakfast.

A nice welcome at the reception, and a most satisfactory, large room. You will need a little bit of orientation on a map to find out about buses and trams around the hotel. Vi var familie på fire som bodde på hotellet i september i år. Vi ble veldig begeistret. Stille og rolig område men alikevel kort vei over elva til sentrum. Hotellet og rommene var velstelt og servicen fra ansatte var upåklagelig. God frokost. Anbefaler dette hotellet!

Vi fant hotellet meget sentralt plassert i Budapest med gangavstand til severdighetene på begge sidene av Donau. Hyggelig personale, enkel og grei frokost som er inkludert i prisen teller også når vi velger hotell via nettet. Få, men et par bra spisesteder i nærheten av hotellet. Konklusjon: Kan absolutt anbefales, og prismessig gunstig som mye annet […] i Ungarn. Les mer

Et helt ok hotell for folk som trenger ei overnatting eller to. Kanskje ikke så barnevennlig da det ikke fins uteområder eller tilsvaredene der. Ok service, greie rom og bra frokost. Vi var fornøyde men ville nok valgt et annet hotell om vi skulle vært flere dager eller hadde reist med barn.

Hotellet ligger på Budasiden mellom Elisabethbroen og Slottshøyden. Hotellet har hyggelig betjening, greie rom og god frokost. Fin gangvei/trapp opp til slottet, du er oppe på 5 minutter! Kort vei til trikkeholdeplass. Restaurant Tabani i samme kvartal anbefales på det varmeste.

The hotel is located at the Buda side, near the Danube river and Gellert hill. It is a few minutes walk to the popular shopping street Vaci Utca. The hotel has receptionists who speake english well (not true for the night-watch receptionst). The twin bed room has a small bathroom. The rooms are clean, but don't have any safe deposit for private valuables. […]  The breakfast is not bad, but I miss some whole-grain bread. Les mer

Hotel is between the Castle and Gellert Hill, the street it on is a bit run down but the hotel is grand and clean. Its very much a place to stay not a place to live, they are a few restaurants behind it for dinner and drinks

It was a nice stay and good value for the money. The staff was very kind. The walk from the hotel to the dead center of the city is quite okay.

Stayed at this hotel for a few days in December and it was perfect for us. The manager and staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. They were very kind and extremely helpful. Very good location across the river from the parliament building with a tram almost outside the door that links to majour routes. Would definately stay here aga […] in! Les mer

From our arrival, we were impressed with the staff and service. The tram service is very close and provides excellent transportation or connections to every area of the city. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff very helpful helping with communications following a pickpocket issue in the city.

The hotel is close to the Danube and Elizabeth Bridge. The staff are friendly and helpful and offer useful advice on restaurants and places to go. The rooms are of a decent size and are spotlessly clean. We had a good breakfast every morning. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but it was having to work overtimedue to the 41 degree heatwave. I don't […] expect it would normally be a problem. Do not expect luxury but the hotel has everything that most people would want - clean rooms, friendly staff and good location. Les mer

This hotel was great in all respects, but one. When I was there it was unusually hot in Budapest, and the AC struggled to keep the room cool enough. Other than that the hotel was great. The staff was very helpful!

It was a vy nice stay during our trip at Budapest. The only prob we faced was we can't find the hotel when we reached because we need to take the right bus and alight at the right place. The hotel staffs are vy helpful n polite. ;-) Our toilet room having a little prob which we cant close it properly but overall the room condition is ok. The breakfast […] also vy nice... hotel in a very central position close to the river bank. accomodation was perfect for my appointments in a nearby (20m) restaurant taban terasz. despite not advertised, there are a few safe parking places just in fron of the hotel. marco

Orion's an excellent base, super-efficient, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, centrally located for getting around, especially if you take good strolling shoes (it's not itself in the centre of the action, though there are a couple of restaurants and bars not far away). Hotel with a warm welcome and helpful staff. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Breakfasts very good, coffee and tea available 24 hours. Position near the Elizabeth Bridge. Easy to explore Buda from hotel. Would highly recommend hotel and its staff.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with delicious fried bacon and eggs cooked to order. Location is good for historic centre of Buda but the majority of restaurants, activities etc are in Pest across the bridge so guests need to decide which […] side of the river they want to be on. well located on the Buda side. Less than 100yds to the Danube. Easy walk to the Pest side of the river. Friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast. Only real complaint would be the a/c.It was barely able to keep the room tolerable. Would not recommend staying here in warm weather.

The exterior of the hotel could do with a bit of face-lift, however the interior of the hotel is spotlessly clean and whilst the room and in particular the bathroom was small it was more than adequate for a sightseeing break. The hotel is very close to all the sights of Budapest and we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The continental […] breakfast was very good and there is someone to cook your eggs for you, which is nice. There is no facility to make tea or coffee in the rooms, however, the dining room is available all day where you can make tea and coffee. There is no bar in the hotel but the rooms have a mini bar. The hotel staff were very friendly and pleasant and had good English. All in all this hotel is great value for money and whilst it is not a luxury hotel it is a great base for seeing Budapest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a central, inexpensive and clean accommodation for a city break Les mer

Nice boutique type hotel. Clean and well maintained. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Great restaurants close by. Within walking distance of downtown, turkish bathhouses, the citadel, buses and trolleys. A good deal. .

I'm a single female who doesn't mind walking, so it was perfect. It's located about 2 miles from the Keltic station on the other side of the Elizabeth's bridge. Every day, I saw the river, the bridges, the Gilbert Hill. its' within walking distance of EVERYTHING, including the Szyechi bathhouse and Castles. The breakfast is amazing- fresh eggs, fresh […] juice, tea selection. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are big, tvs, radios, free internet, large bathrooms. Its near a church so there are some bells, but they arent too disruptive. It's close to a trams stops as well, if you don't want to walk. Les mer

Two trams converge outside. Easy and quick to Pest. (If you are only staying a night or two, you should book in Pest unless its Buda you really want to see.) The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance of most anything you want to see. The bathroom is very small but functional, staff was very helpful and pleasant, location, again was great, and will go back there if ever in Budapest.

visited nov 2010. i found the hotel very clean,room was spacious and comfortable,breakfast good and the staff friendly and helpful .located on the buda side of the river and in walking distance of the castle and the ciyt centre.over all this is a small friendly hotel in a quiet location but close to all amenities with frequent trams and buses running […] with stops less than 50 metres away.i give it ten out of ten and fully recommend to anyone. All in all an excellent choice for a short city trip to Budapest: friendly and competent staff, great filling breakfast, clean rooms, convenient location in walking distance from major attractions (bus and tram stops are also not far away...). The only negative point are the maybe somewhat "thin" doors and room walls: if noisy people arrive late it […] wakes up the whole floor... I really can't fault the room, which was comfortable and spacious, or the breakfast which had choices for all tastes, but the location in Buda isn't ideal. There are bus and tram lines close by, but only two or three restaurants and those at the expensive end, and few shops south of the chain bridge. The Orion is a small hotel 1 block from the Danube and tram stop and walking distance to the Citadel, Liberty Monument, Taban Church and Museum. The staff is friendly and trilingual (English, German and Hungarian). Rooms are small but clean and modern. Breakfast was GREAT.

Location was excellent for accessing the Buda Palace, museums and Fisherman's Bastion. Easy walking distance to sites in Pest via either the Elizabeth or Chain bridge. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast options; loved the cheese omelets and selection of breads.
