Comfort Inn And Suites - Berea

This was a great place to stay. Everything was clean and in good working order. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was very good. My only complaint would be that there was not enough tables in the breakfast area for the number of guests at the time we went there.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful at this spacious, clean, well-equipped hotel. It's right off the Interstate and very close to all of the main area attractions. I was especially pleased with how large and comfortable our room was, even though it wasn't considered deluxe, suite, etc. Relatively large fridge and microwave included! I stayed at this hotel with my niece. The first room they put us in had problems with the toilet running. They did put us up in another suite. The alarm clock kept making noise thru the night despite the fact that the alarm was turned off. The microwave would not work and despite a complaint, nothing was done about it. The worst was when I could not […] get the business center printer to work. I needed to print a form for the following day in court. I went to the front desk twice. On the second visit the hotel host was found to reviving herself from either passing out in the hallway adjacent to the front desk or had curled up on the floor to sleep. I could not really tell, but her shoes were off her feet in the hallway and she rose appearing reallly dishevelled. When I complained about the printer she appeared dazed and told me nothing could be done til morning. She appeared unconcerned and did not even care to get my name or room number. On top of that the ironing board was broken. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. Totally unprofessional. Les mer

We were delighted with our larger than normal room, the concierge-like services at the front desk, and the free sumptious hot breakfast buffet.

Excellent service in every aspect, and very friendly staff. I do not have anything negative to say about Comfort Inn.

Good place to stop while driving from MI to FL. Friendly staff and the price was right for the room and service.

This hotel is adequate for basic overnight accomodations. Friendly and accomodating staff. Room had only the basic necessities. Get a room that is away from the interstate, as the room I had was noisy all night long due to sounds of traffic. Mechanicals(heat/AC) are also noisy. I will choose a hotel further from the interstate next time.

The hotel staff was very helpful, our kids loved the pool. Had plenty of towels in the room and even extra pillows and blankets. They even had listings of area restaurants and pizza places that delivered to the hotel. We have family in this area and would definitely stay here again.

We'd return in a minute; only difference is that we'd ensure our room was a non-smoking one, as booked. We ended up on the third floor, which appears to be all rooms that allow smoking. Our room was fine--no stale smoke smell--so we didn't complain; however, when we return (and we will) we'll check that the room is non-smoking before we leave recep […] tion. Les mer

Hello, It really upsets me to have to write a review like this, but I cannot let this go unnoticed. 1. The Reservation was placed under the wrong name, I made the reservations not my mother. 2. The cleanliness of our room was horrible!!!! We had a whirlpool in our room and were unable to use it our first night because of the soap scum built up inside, […] i had to buy cleaning supplies and clean it myself! When we first checked in we wanted coffee..but our coffee pot was full of coffee so old it had mold growing in it! 3. Maintenance was not good....the toilet in our bathroom would not flush properly, maintenance was asked to come saturday morning, he came in and snaked the toilet but that still didn't work, he was requested back around 3 pm on saturday and 6 hours later after not showing up was seen laying on the couch in the lobby watching TV! 4. My mother spoke with the hotel management Saturday afternoon about the condition of the rooms--she had dried body fluids on her bed spread and the AC didn't work correctly. We were told that it was our problem and should have requested housekeeping! Why request housekeeping when it should have already been done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I admit I got extremely upset over his reaction..We were staying in this Hotel becuase my great grandmother passed away and we were in town to bury her. 3/4 of the rooms rented that weekend were our family members!!!! Hotel management told my mother that he would be at the front desk when we checked out sunday morning to adjust our bill and talk about the room but when her and my husband went downstairs he was no where to be found...he simply left an envelope with the front desk personell and that was it! We stay in Hotels all over the US on a regular basis as we like to travel and do so often, but i must admit with this experience it will be a long time if ever that we stay with Comfort Inn again.
