Etter en rundreiese i Kina, med flere ulike hotel opplevelser bak oss var dette det mest upersonlige hotellet vi opplevde på turen. Det var helt greit,men manglet det lille ekstra som gjør hotel opplevelsen spesiell.

Our family loved this hotel. It has a small garden for us to breath fresh Air after Traffic jam ( specially there are wedding party - held on last Sunday ). We proposed this hotel to other Shanghai visitors as well. Everything is ok except oldish pipeline in Bathroom. You can go anywhere with RMB25 by TAXI. Breackfast is good for asian ( not excellent […] ) kids. Note that some room can has a School-View not acity view or ocean view. Les mer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Although the hotel is showing a little wear, it is a historical landmark. We stayed in building 2, the newer addition of the hotel and it was a beautiful room, large and well laid out, with everything provided that you could think of. The main building were well worth seeing for the historical […] aspect as well as the fact that it is made like a fairytale castle. The furniture shows a little wear, but they are the original antiques from the era. And they had a lovely buffet breakfast every morning. The only complaint that we had for the whole weekend was that the coffee from the breakfast was barely warm and that the computer/internet on our tv didn't work, but we had brought our own laptop anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. There were 4 of us staying for 9 days in 3 rooms. I'd say that I was quite satisfied with the staff. They responded promptly to any request, even the porters at the front gate were very quickly to call taxi for us - waving down a taxi around there is not exactly an easy task. Overall service is wonderful. I like its unique characteristics. There are […] only a couple of things I would suggest the Hotel to improve: In a beautiful European architected building, and nice rooms, somehow, there were always some odor of urine when you first walked into the floor - where I stayed at the wing above the reception and cafe/tea room. It was a turn-off for me at times. I suggest the cleaning staff use some kind of fragrance or flowered scented pouch to always keep around the rooms to get rid of that unpleasant odor. The other thing is I got a room that was occupied by a smoker, it took a whole day keeping the windows open plus some fragrance spray to get rid of that horrible smoker smell. Also, there were smokers near my room, and the smoke got thru to the bathroom air vantilation, which was almost unbearable. I guess the smokers moved out, so after 2 nights, it was ok. Another note is that if you get a room facing the school yard of an elementary school, you won't be able to sleep in well, those little kids start to make a lot of noises at around 7:-ish. The noise is basically equivalent to like 1000 birds chirping all the time. If you don't mind that, you should be ok. Well,, guess the hotel can't do anything about that. BTW, the breakfast (incl. in the price) is of good variety, Chinese and western, which should satisfy any one's appetite. I may still opt to stay in this hotel the next time. I stayed in this hotel during my last stay in shanghai and was offered 3 different rooms - since I returned to this hotel after short journeys out of Shanghai. The first room was ok - no. 1220 - facing the garden. But the next room I was offered didn't fit more than a bed and had no floor space - so I was offered to move to room 1309 - facing the school […] yard. Until 7 a.m. it was fine, but there was no sleep after that.. and I am a easy and good sleeper.. but the noise was LOUD and stressy.. repeating shouts and music played. I would not visit this hotel again.. because of this, and the water not being able to flush out of the shower, the toilet being full, carpets and alot of dust under the bed (guess, it's difficult to clean with a carpet). Breakfast was Chinese with the exception of toastbread, which was ok. Les mer

This is a quirky, historic hotel that will appeal to those with interest in Old Shanghai. Love the location and historic (if kitchy) architecture. The hotel has charm and had been refurbished. Still, it is not quite up to the standard of modern, new establishments. One must have a sense of romance and historical curiosity to fully appreciate the experience […] -- then it is fun. Staff are willing and helpful, but seem to be mired down a bit by old technology and/or habits. Room a bit tight but bed/bedding very roomy and comfortable. Need to put wifi in rooms, improve check in process, and tidy up details inn rooms (ours had unsightly scuffs on TV table). . Les mer

Booked a taxi to the train station through the hotel and expected tyhe driver to have been briefed withe the destination details but. alas this was not the case. Ended up going direct to the airport. Air New Zealand had lost our main bag so had to get reception to chase things up. Reception staff in our block were next to useless but girl at check in […] reception was much more helpful Everything else was fine Les mer

The hotel has very nice grounds which are well mantained. Villa was built by a millionaire who was a Jewish shipping magnate hence the architecture resembled that of a ship. Rooms are nice n cosy although the air conditioning stopped working halfway and we had to call for service. Breakfast was not fantastic, the spread was limited would suggest taking […] breakfast elsewhere in the French Concession where they are many options..... Overall would recommend this hotel for it's location and well maintained rooms. Les mer

　ホテルの裏に並木道の緑が涼やかな通りがあります。落ち着いた古いまち並みと、ところどころに現代的にリノベートされた店のある通りでもあります。恐らく、余裕のある層が近隣に多く住んでいるのではないでしょうか。でも、地元の人たちの行く小さなマーケットもあって、なかなか楽しい地域です。ホテルの良さは他の方々が書かれていると思うので省略します。

最高の満足度を味わえますよ

お城のようなホテルでした。 最高の満足度でした。 一度は滞在してみるのも良いですよ。 朝食はとても美味しかったです。

東洋の西洋化を先取りした上海、付近にはレトロ感あふれる建築群が数多く、建築を生涯の仕事と考えている私には非常に参考になる場所です。 ホテル自身もよく保存のきいているもの、客室は非常に近代化され上海でも珍しくウォシュレットが設置してあります。がバスの温水は赤水でした、メンテナンスにもっと気を使ってくださればよいと思います。今回2度目でしたがまた泊りに行きます。

很好的饭店，很有历史感觉。房间内部不比5星级酒店差。酒店服务人员也还ok，相比整个上海的服务水平而言啦。。。 但是真的很不错哦，强烈推荐。

很精致，大堂很安静，花园草坪虽小，很美。服务好，干净。我们住的二号楼房间较小，没有放箱子的行李架，才进们有点刚装修的味道，怀疑是墙纸的味道，可以忍受。服务员说是老房子的原因。

這家酒店的服務還可以，酒店內外建設都很有特色，但有些地方不滿是，因為今年天氣反常，所以11月中白上海很熱，在房間很焗，當我要求開冷氣時，他們居然要我們關掉冷氣，等暖氣不會再發出，然後開窗讓風吹進來就很好的，但外面有很多蚊子，而且酒店只有三層，我是住在二樓，我們兩個女生會怕有人會從窗外爬進來，他只回我一句 “沒有辦法”。這點令我對酒店的印像很差。其他的也沒有不好的地方。

都心の便利なところにありながら綺麗な庭と歴史建造物が目を引くホテル。紹介されていた写真を見て、もっとゴージャスなのかと思って行ったら、意外とこじんまりとしたプチホテル風。ゴージャスさが面白いかと思っていたので拍子抜け。部屋の狭さやネットの遅さに不満だったのでビジネスには向いていないが、立地は良いし、そこだけ時間が止まったような環境は、レジャーにはお勧めかな。

Confort garanti dès les premiers prix, buffet très varié pour le petit déjeuner, service rapide et efficace, et grand calme. Bref, "an absolute must" pour les voyageurs de passage à Shanghai cherchant un hôtel très central. Et pour les budgets les plus modestes, je recommande d'y passer quand même ne serait-ce que pour y voir l'originalité de l'arc […] hitecture. Les mer

道路からの入り口が小さいことを除けば 外観は洒落ている。 　が　部屋は南北どちらか向きになるが 北は小学校、南はコンド　と　特に眺望は良くない。 　当然　北側は平日　日中　学校からの音に晒される。 　 　屋上にエアコンの室外機がのっているらしく 旧式であるため動作中大きなウナリが発生する。 　3階の部屋だと　かなり気になるレベル、 もちろん人によるが。 窓が閉まらないなど　メンテが行き届いていない ところが多く見受けられた。 　シャワーつき便器、ネット接続するテレビ　等 最新の設備もあるが　ネット接続は よく切断し大切な用事には不安。 　朝食は　ドイツで言えば普通の都市の3つ星レベル。 　バリエーションは少ない。 ハム1種、チーズ1種　パンも　食パン（トースト＋α） 、普通のゆで卵なし、ヨーグルトなし。 　苦情の応対等　サービス面でのレベルが 建物に追いついていない。 　私は音が気になる方だし　サービス面も 重視するので　リピートしない。 Lovely […] look,but not so comfortable about staying. not so rich breakfast,not so kind staff.
