Staff very plesant. Nice quite and confortable place to stay.

Needs updated and cleaned up

The hotel was clean and quiet. Very convenient to restaraunts and the interstates.

Booked room with queen and a sleeper sofa. Got a queen and was told they overbooked so we got the shaft. Rudd counter person during the day.

We used this hotel during Daytona and were very pleased. Location worked out great, halfway between Daytona and Orlando. Staff was great and helped us when the race was postponed so we stayed another night. I was surprised at how nice the place was given the low stars. This is a underated jewel.

pleasant stay, clean place, they change towels once a week, so go for short stay.

I booked here after the conference hotel filled up. The drive was less than 3 miles but very pleasant. The hotel had exactly what I was looking for: a good rate, a good room, and quiet location with kitchen services. The full size fridge was great, but some type of oven or grill would have been nice. The bed/bathroom were adequate, and weekly maid service […] was ok (scheduled for the 7th night of an 8 day stay but declined as I figured what was the point - having it mid stay would have been nice). Having to bring towels or sheets to the front desk was kind of quirky, but not a big deal. The location was on a quiet street a mile from all the action on the main street - I liked that. Overall a very pleasant and reasonably priced stay. I would definitely stay again. Les mer

We stayed here the night before our early AM flight out of Sanford Orlando Airport, it took us 15" to make the drive. Our room was clean and quiet. The desk clerk was very pleasant. We were surprised to find a full sized frig & microwave, 2 burner stove and a DISHWASHER in our room. There was a laundry room and exercise gym, equipment was functional […] and the room was clean. With our AARP discount the price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again. Les mer

Even though we had booked an handicap accessible room which was confirmed with a phone call, we were not put in a handicap accessible room. I am very disappointed with this hotel and will not stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and close to mall and restaurants..They had a room that had snacks such as yogurt, soda etc..also dvd's that you could watch for free (which my daughter loved) and washer/dryer also for free which was great. Only little issue we had was with the toilet, but it was taken care of as soon as I called.. Staff was very friendly.. […] :) Les mer

Recently stayed here while in transition from NJ to FL. Picked this hotel due to location and because it was pet friendly. Originally planned to stay 3 nights until my new home was available to move in but ended up extending my stay two additional days due to complications with the house. The staff was extremely helpful, both in securing the additional […] dates and handling incoming/outgoing faxes related to the move (note that the additional days were not at the Hotels.com rate, but they were close to it). Given that my cat was residing there with me, I really appreciated that there was no housekeeping 'interruptions' during my stay. Also having a kitchen was extremely helpful, and the bed was supremely comfortable. Two things to note: the studio suite does NOT contain a pull out couch, as was indicated in the Hotels.com description, but rather a recliner (which served adequately as a bed for the one night my brother stayed over before he flew back to NJ). Another review indicated no sheets were available for the pullout, so I had brought sheets with me and did need them for the recliner as there were none in the room. Secondly, the continental breakfast contained almost entirely sweet foods (danish, muffins, waffles) so if you're looking something healthy, plan to go elsewhere (yogurt is available for purchase at the small store onsite). But the coffee was good! Overall a very pleasant stay, and I will definitely recommend to coworkers who may also need temporary housing while transferring to our Florida office. Les mer

i only have one complaint at the side door there was an odor i did not know it was a dog friendly hotel. with that said the room was great service great i would stay there again.

I would recommend Candlewood Suites Lake Mary to anyone. We had a real nice stay. Everyone was nice, room was clean as a pin. Only thing is, book a room away from I-4...

Over the years I've had the opportunity to stay in many different hotels and will admit to rarely taking the time to participate in these review requests. However, this will be the second time I have done so - the first time, some years ago (1977?), was to complain about an absolutely horrible experience involving rude staff, insects, fouls smells, […] etc. at a HoJo. My review this time is prompted by the pleasant experience I had at Candlewood Lake Mary FL. The combination of a clean well maintained building, attentive, pleasant staff and little touches such as the free washer/dryer availability, the "Cupboard", a decent selection of free DVDs to borrow from, etc. made my boring, arduous business trip much more tolerable. It was one of the few times in my life I actually felt the "home away from home" vibe from a hotel. Nice facility, very pleasant staff and a bunch of refined small polishing touches make for an excellent business model AND satisfied repeat customers. Les mer

I was shocked at the sub-standard cleanliness and customer service of this hotel. I found hairs and stains on my sheets upon climbing into bed. When I called the front desk to report this and get the sheets changed, I was told I could come get clean sheets from the front desk and change the bed myself. Ironically, there are letters from the manager […] posted in the elevators and rooms declaring a dedication to excellence in comfort and customer service, but when it came time to live up to that, Candlewood Suites greatly disappointed me. It may be "where value stays" but it will never again be where I stay. Les mer

I booked this room weeks in advance and prepaid but did not get the room I requested. STUDIO SUITE TWO DOUBLE BEDS -Advance Purchase Non-Refundable. My husband and son were the ones who used the room for the Capital One Bowl GAme and had to take a room with one queen bed and a couch that makes out into a bed. Also, my husband was told the motel did […] not have sheets or blankets for the sofa bed. The room was nice but no one wants to sleep on a sofabed especially if you prepaid for 2 queens beds. The room was worth the money, there is a freeway on one side of the hotel and you could hear the traffic, but other than that a good bargain.

This was the first time that we stayed at this hotel and we were please with the overall appearance on the outside, inside the registration counter we were greeted by a friendly courteous person. The room was very clean, all the kitchen utensils and cups were nice and clean. The bathroom had a big powerful exhaust fan that is very important to me. The […] pool was sparkling clean and clear. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lake Mary, FL Les mer

The room was comfortable and was more like an away apartment than a hotel room. It was nice having room to spread out, it was not a typical hotel room crowded by beds and walls.

This was not the first time I have stayed here because this place is great! The rooms are awesome and the service was fantastic.

Very Clean excellent for the money.But is an extended stay hotel, lots may want to consider providing smoking area away from door.

My 1st time I stay was impressed personnel very nice. The Hotel was really, really, really. I took photo of the room and show it my friends & family and they were impressed.

I wasn't expecting much for the price we paid. Was I surprised! The hotel was like new and the room had a kitchen in it.They had a vcr in the room, and free movies you could get from the front desk. You could use a computer and printer for free in the lobby. The pool was nice, and had gas grills that you could use. The only complaint we had was there […] were no non-smoking rooms, and the room definatley smelled like it. Les mer

I booked this hotel going by the reviews I read. I was still hesitant because of the low price, but was so relieved when I saw the hotel. The room had a kitchen, including a microwave, stove, frig, pots, pans and silverware.The room was clean and like new. They had a free gym, free laundry facilities, and a free computer and printer in the lobby. They […] even had a gas grill you could use by the pool! The only complaint I have is that they had no non smoking rooms, and being non smokers, we could really smell it. But it would not stop me from staying here again. Les mer

Syrjässä sijaitseva siisti ja toimiva paikka. Olimme vain läpikulkemassa, siihen tarkoitukseen ihan täydellinen hinta-laatusuhde. Ihan varteenotettava vaihtoehto vaikkapa Orlandossa lomailevalle autolla kulkevalle perheelle pidemmäksikin aikaa. Siistimpi ja parempi kuin hinnan perusteella oletimme :)
