The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful, and gave me a lot of good tips and advices about sightseeing in and around Vienna. At my last day I had no problems keeping my room until 13:30pm (check-out is normally at 11am) – just ask in the reception on your check-out day. My room was spacious, clean and had all the amnesties needed. That […] being said, it felt a bit simple and “cheap” (or more like a B&B), but I cannot put my finger on what it was. Maybe the colures or that it did not have “enough” furniture for the size, or that the two beds were very small and gave me the feeling of summer camp. It was no mini bar in the room, but tea and coffee making facilitates – which I really appreciated. The bathroom had a bathtub and was also spacious and spotlessly clean. The windows were facing the back yard, and I could not hear anything from the street. But be careful with opening the windows during the night – there is not enough heating on to warm up the room the next day… The breakfast was good and plentiful, and I especially appreciated the opportunity to take a kettle of coffee to my table, and the Macchiato coffee glasses. Alt var bra. Betjeningen var høfflige og veldig hjelpsomme. Frokost var rikelig . Rommet var stort og senga var veldig god. Det at T-banens heiss var rett utrenfor hotellet var kjempe fint etter en lang dag i byen. Det er kun 2 holdeplasser til sentrum. Gratis internett og en pc til bruk for alle.

Svært fornøyd med oppholdet. Fikk stort fint rom mot bakgården. Ikke støy i det hele tatt. Rent og pent rom. Gode senger. Flott frokost med hyggelig serveringspersonale. 10 min. gange til sentrum. Kjempefornøyd!

Hyggelig hotell i rolig område av byen. 50 m til t-bane, 100 m til butikk, 5 min. gange til jernbanestasjonen Praterstern, og 12 min. gange til sentrum. Vi bodde 6 netter i dobbeltrom superior, som var romslig og med gode senger. Lite trafikkstøy når vinduene var lukket. Varmt om natten pga. "Indian Summer" denne perioden, så air condition hadde vært […] å foretrekke! En stor, elektrisk vifte på rommet dempet den verste varmen. God frokost med alt vi trengte, og litt til. Hotel is one minute away from U1 metro line & two stops from Stephensplass. With underground or tram you can go basically anywhere around Vienna in under 15 minutes. Public transportation is fantastic! Hotel is very clean, personnel is very helpful. I got an upgrade for executive room after I have asked if it was possible to have a kettle in the room. […] The room was excellent, spatious, tastefully decorated and warm. However, there is no AC and for american guests in summer it might be uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good, considering it is a three star hotel: various cheeses and hams, eggs, sausages, plus good choice of cornflakes, muesli, etc. Good coffee and tea, juice. Breakfast room was sometimes full but one of the most efficiently organizes I have seen - there was no long wait at all. Simple and clean hotel in the center of Vienna. Located 50 meter from nearest Metro station and app. 1 kilometer from the Prater park. Good breakfast (though without bacon) clean rooms and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Perfect as a base to enjoy Vienna if you plan to spend more time enjoying the city than staying inside the hotel room. No complaints […] other than the lack of bacon for the breakfast buffet. Stayed at the hotel Capri 5 nights and found it very decent. The location is OK with walking distance to the Stephansdom and a metro station just outside the hotel. The rooms are quite large with good standard and the breakfast was also pretty good. Good value for money.

The hotel was in 15 mins walk from centre.Next to an underground station (not needed as most things within walking distance)and 15 mins from train station which was ideal for then travelling to Vienna.Lots of choice for breakfast.We were not disappointed.

We arrived straight from the airport after an overnight flight, a bit earlier than check in time, and the kind people at the front desk took very good care of us from the start. While they got our rooms ready early, they told us how to get to some sights, recommended restaurants, and provided some useful general information. They were so welcoming and […] helpful! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, we were amazed. They upgraded us to a family suite, which is very roomy for two adults and two children. The bathroom was bright and clean. We were also grateful for the well-stocked coffee/tea kettle. The television had lots of international stations, so the kids were entertained by familiar shows while we were in the room. The location is right next to an underground station, so it was easy to travel around the city. It is also close to good restaurants and helpful shops (pharmacy, etc). They recommended an Italian restaurant called Stradinos (or something like that) which was small, and a bit smokey for Americans unaccustomed to that in a restaurant, but it was absolutely delicious and we loved every dish we ordered. All in all, we could not believe how lucky we were for finding such a perfect hotel in Vienna. We can recommend it 100%! Les mer

This was our forth stay at Hotel Capri and we will definitely be back again. Hotel staff always very friendly and helpful, lovely rooms, always very clean and breakfast was wonderful. U-Bahn right outside hotel and only a short walk to railway station. City centre also within walking distance. Everything just perfect for us.

We booked 2 rooms for a week's stay and got the Standard room. Rooms are very spacious and very clean, the bathroom is a plus for me. It's squeaky clean! Almost brand-new. They […] always cleaned the room every time we asked for it. Breakfast was a good spread, but don't expect bacon and fried eggs. It's more European/continental. The biggest plus was it's proximity to the subway. There's this lift across the hotel that goes straight to the subway. We were always tired every day and it was such a godsend how we don't have to walk very far. We always remarked on that every time we went home from the center. The U1 line is perfect and is 2-3 stops away from the centre, where everything is. The hotel was close to perfect except that the rooms did not have a refrigerator (I was told they have this in the upgraded rooms). Would have loved to have cold beer/chilled wine during our stay! Very nice hotel. Good location between old city and train-autobus station. Staff and breakfast is nice too. Room is large,clean and comfortable. With coll street-view. Two things we didn't like it: safe-box was smaller than my tablet and 2 separated beds putted together. But we live with that ;)

Could not have had a better stay. the breakfast was more than I expected. The staff were fabulous. My room was facing the street but I never heard any street noise. I would recommend this hotel to any one who wanted to feel like they were in a 5 star hotel but didn't pay nearly the price. Let me go over the pros: Incredible location, very close to the stop of Nestroyplatz, so if you're using the CAT to get to the hotel, you're in luck because it's only two stops away (though there are changes on one train to the Red U1 train). You might also want to consider that they have limited lift facilities at the Nestroyplatz station itself, so […] a bit of heavy lifting, otherwise it's great. So logistics aside, the hotel itself is great, the staff was wonderful and friendly and I mean that they did try their best to help me settle in and were very helpful whenever I needed anything. The best part by far, was the exquisite and very Viennese breakfast. I still dream of it. The place where you have breakfast is very elegant and faces the main street and you can feel a bit of Europe as you savor the delicate cakes and sip on coffee. The menu is very extensive, so from salads, fruits, different kinds of cheese to almost all the modern day cereal options. I loved the breakfast and hadn't expected it to be so nice, but it was. The staff manning the breakfast area were also really sweet and very very helpful. Everyone would be happy to lend you a hand when they see you struggling even a little with your luggage. The rooms themselves were very neat. They had these cute toffees waiting on the pillows. Very clean and comfortable. Overall, well worth the money. :) Les mer

We walked from the CAT station (20mins) and found the hotel without too much trouble. If using the underground leave the station by the small lift on the platform. This will bring you out almost opposite the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room on the first floor was large very clean and comfortable and looked out on to the street […] (no traffic noise) . The bathroom was a good size and had an excellent shower over the bath, it was powerful and hot. There was also an excellent wall mounted magnifying mirror. Towels were regularly changed. Beds were soft and firm and provided a good nights sleep. The breakfast was of good quality and variety and the breakfast rooms clean. It would have been a 5* overall ranking but for one little problem - the noisy central heating system in Room 506. Every time the system heated up at 5:30 am (i.e. 4:30 am GMT) it sounded like someone hammering - great if you want an alarm call, but not if you're in Vienna for leisure. Great location for central Vienna and a very short walk for the U-bahn and a slightly longer walk to the S-bahn direct to the airport. A lovely hotel in a very convenient location approximately 15mins walk to the city centre or 1 stop on the tube. The tube station is right outside the hotel which is ideal for getting arounf the city to see the numerous Christmas Markets and attractions. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms on the 7th floor were perfect […] and in immaculate condition. The whole hotel is in first class condition including a new lift. Breakfast was one of the best experienced with a wonderful choice. Well, for me the hotel is situated perfectly. Quite close to the city center (about 5 min by underground - the stop is right opposite the hotel, or 15 min on foot) but without that touristic hassle that annoys me so much. Every place of interest that we had on our list was reachable without changes. 1 change to the train station and 2 changes to the […] airport. Hotel surroundings are calm but our room overlooked the road so it was a little bit noisy but for us that isn't any big problem. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are extremely good. Rooms were cleaned daily. There is a safe in the room and tea-cofee making facilities. Beds are comfortable in terms of matresses but we had two beds put together and since they stand on a carpet they sprawled all the time which is not so good for 'romance'. Rooms are large compared to size of a standard european hotel room. But at the same time overall decor of the room is very simple without a touch of cozyness, the room seemed quite shabby with some black marks on curtains, smell of smoking (though it is a nonsmoking hotel), tiles on the floor in the bathroom are cracked. The room definitely needed repair. That's why very nice impressions from the services that the hotel provides are marred by this insufficient quality of the room appearance. Les mer

I'm happy with the hotel. The staff speak good English, and the room was much larger than I had expected (considering hotels in European cities are very compact), and very clean. They serve nice breakfast between 7 - 10am. The hotel is located in the 2nd district of Vienna, and it will take 15 - 20min. walk to to get to city center, and I walked from […] Musikverein and cafes in the old city during my stay. But also subway stop (U1 Nestroyplatz) is right in front of the hotel, and that's very convenient. When I arrived in Vienna airport I took S7 train to Paraterstern and changed to U1 subway to Nestroyplatz and it was very easy connection. The location was about the only good thing, well that and the breakfast. My "king bed" was in fact two small beds pushed together, and not even with a big sheet joining them together. Apparently all of their "king" beds are like this. The free wifi barely worked. Showering was very difficult. It's a small, narrow tub, with the faucet positioned in the […] middle of the tub - strange? Housekeeping doesn't knock, and walked right into my room at 9am. I don't know why people rave about this place? Granted this was my first stay in Vienna and I have nothing to compare it to. Our room for two people was clean,spacious and quiet and had a small balcony overlooking the courtyard carpark. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included in our room rate was great and offered an excellent variety of dishes and was replenished regularly. The hotel was pretty convenient being right next to the underground and we could walk to the Prater area (with the ferris wheel). Room was pretty basic but clean with a king bed made from 2 twins. Staff for the most part was accommodating but a few of the staff I dealt with were not that friendly.
