The lobby is great for a Days Inn. The room was clean, if a bit dated. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was as to be expected. Overall, it was a great value and I would stay again.

Great place to stay! Room wasn't quite ready but they rushed to finish so we could sleep on their new "Temperpedic" mattress -great sleep!! Breakfast was extensive. The staff is very proud of this refurbished motel and they should be. Right price, convenient place w/choices for dinner spots.

"perfect example of a dive"
This hotel had carpet that was rolling up, the bathroom panel door had a large hole on the top of the door and boxes stacked at the end of our hallway. The food was fine, but not well positioned, stocked and staffed to handle the morning mass of people. The decor was extremely old and the carpet was worn in both of the rooms and the sheets and bedding […] smelled of strong perfumes or scents. I'll stay somewhere else next time. Les mer

very clean and maintained room, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice indoor pool, and good free internet.

Wonderful staff that I watched go above and beyond for thier customers, lady had a dead battery the manager/owner went out and jumped the car for her then took her to get gas when they discovered she had also run out. Rooms are older but very clean. Indoor pool and hot tub working.Beds were comfortable. Pets allowed for small charge. Breakfast ok, waffle […] maker, donut, cereal and yogert, but if you want more you get 10% off at resturant next door. Lots of room to park U-Haul and trailer. "cute little town but hotel needs some TLC"
my family and i (4yr old and a dog) were travelling xcountry (LA-MN) and evanston was our 2nd night. the downtown evanston area was nice - small, quaint, etc. the hotel was old and felt dirty. the people were nice enough but i do not think we would stay there again if passing through...needs a renovation badly.

The hotel shows some wear and tear but, despite it's age, is fairly well maintained. One big problem, however, is that the room was very noisy. For a very heavy sleeper, it may not be a problem. But I could hear every footstep from the floor above, not just the thud of each step, but accompanied by squeaks in the floor. My family all stayed at the Days Inn Evanston for our family reunion. The beds were very comfortable at this hotel and all my family members commented on that. I had no problems at all with my room but the air conditioning didn't work well in my niece's; however, this was really the only negative. The pool was clean and the hot tub hot. It was great […] to hang out by the pool and play and visit. The continental breakfast was awesome and very nice for people on a budget as it helped keep food costs down. The rooms were quite sound proof and with the air conditioner on I hardly heard any noise at all from other guests. I would recommend this hotel to others. Very pleasant experience. Les mer

"They try hard."
For an older hotel, they do a very good job at trying to make you comfortable. The hotel staff went beyond the normal in making sure that we were happy. The pool was very warm! A nice treat for me and my wife (our kids would have been happy in snow melt). There is also a fitness room (with one treadmill, one recumbanant bike, and one eliptical). A bonus, […] when I was not expecting anything. I do not eat breakfast, but my wife and kids do and they said that the breakfast was a bit bland and everything tasted "funny." This motel was excellent for the price. They had a nice hot tub/pool that was very relaxing at the end of the day. The only suggestion I have would be to make sure that you get a non-smoking room next to other non-smoking rooms. "No frills, low price, and great shower"
Check in was fine, even though I arrived much later than expected. The hotel seems to be pretty clean and staff were helpful. My room had a strong carpet deodorant type smell, but other than that, things were fine. Great shower, with no water temperature variation.

The Days Inn is a nice place to lay your head. Its close to the freeway and town. It has a small but nice breakfast bar for morning. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is not top of the line but beds are nice and rooms are clean.

"Great place for a family weekend away"
We needed an affordable, clean place for a weekend trip with our two young children. This hotel was great. It was clean and well kept, although the decor is a little dated. It has a great pool which our kids loved and the exercise room made me happy. Breakfast was decent - nothing special but good enough to get you going and then you can save your money […] for a nice dinner in town. Was clean BUT we had some very noisy people right above us that were making noise very early in the morning. Service was good, and there was always someone at the front desk when we walked by - ready to help someone - which was nice to see

Convenient location. Very clean facility and clean room. Helpful, polite staff. Walking distance to 2 restraunts and 1 bar / liquor store. Staff suggested Steak House and mentioned a discount for showing your room card. The only negative was that the heater blew air but did not seem to heat up. There was a freestanding, electric heater that worked well. […] The air from the built in unit helped circulate the heat so that the entire room was comfortable. By far the cleanest Days Inn I've stayed in. The room was spotless, and the desk crew actually seemed like they wanted you to have a nice stay. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay.

Saw others ratings but had to see for myself. The toliet in my room worked fine. Shower was great with the Waterpik head, good for the back. Refregrator, microwave both became useful and handy. The in room coffee was good. Pool and spa were both relaxing and hot, the way I like them. They provide extra towels in the pool area so you don't have to worry […] about bringing one from the room and there are plenty of towels there. The only thing I could find wrong was that house keeping opens the windows while cleaning and there are no screens in the windows and we had 2 moths flying around right after we got there but we took care of them. The beds were nice and had 4 pillows and were comfy. For the price, this is the best in the area. If you want better, prepare to pay twice somewhere else. Les mer

When we first arrived the hotel appeared that it may not be too good. However when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised by the appearance and cleanliness. The pool was average. I would stay at this hotel again because of the room.
