Hvis man går gjennom Museum Gardens tar der drøye fem minutter å gå inn til sentrum av York.Goldsmith's ligger i et sjarmerende og stille nabolag og blir drevet av ekteparet Susan og John som gjør sitt ytterste for at deres gjester skal ha det fint. Anbefales på det aller varmeste.

Veldig bra opphold! Rommet jeg fikk var av god hotell standard. Nytt, rent og nødvendige funksjoner. Litt lite rom, dersom man ønsker å tilbringe mer enn natten der. Veldig hyggelig vertskap. Frokost var både typisk engelsk, men også kornblandinger mm, for oss som er glad i det. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Ankom york tidlig den dagen vi skulle sjekke inn, fikk rommet vårt fire timer før tiden, helt utrolig bra service! Nærme alt, bare fem minutter gange til sentrum :) bra standard på rommet, veldig fint. Var litt lytt, knirket litt i gulvet fra de over, men det var ikke noe man la merke til etter hvert :) frokosten var ikke helt på topp, men det lå en matbutikk rett ved og mange pubber og andre plasser de solgte god mat, så det var ikke noe problem!

"Park PLaza Leeds"
We stayed in the Park Plaza for 3 nights. It was perfectly situated in the heart of the city, right next to all of the shops! The cinema was just up the road and there was a supermarket right beside them for the essentials. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were nice. The least comfortable part of our stay were the pillows - no support! […] We also chose to walk to Elland Road Stadium from the hotel, which took approx. 20-25mins (I consider that very good if you're a walker. If not, there are plenty of taxis!) We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Plaza and would highly recommend it, especially to shoppers! Les mer

The Hotel is in an excellent location, near to the main railway station. The facilities are fine, but the hotel has obviously had many weekend partying guests, for many of the carpets and walls are severley stained. Clearly there is a need for some re-decoration

All staff very helpful. Rooms clean, large & bright, great veiws across the city. Hotel is in a great location. Qpark 5min walk away, with hotel discount £11.80 for 24hrs - v reasonable! Only negatives were the pillows, paper thin & therefore pointless, & the TV was prehistoric! All in all great value!

A lovely room on the 17th floor overlooking Leeds with a great view of the sunset. The bed was a generous kingsize and very comfortable. Plenty of space in the room, which was handy as I had some work to do. Shower was nice and powerful. Breakfast was good value, especially if you book the night before. I was impressed that they cooked vegetarian sausages […] to order alongside a good selection of hot and cold buffet. Friendly service. I would definitely book there again. Les mer

was at Park Plaza Leeds for the third time, last two stay was upgraded to executives room .. it was wonderful, the bed are big enough for four people. Bar was good and had a very chill atmosphere. Restaurant was amazing.. the food is excellent , so was the staff would most definetly stay here again when in town

Excellent location across the street from the train station and right in the centre, walkable distance to plenty of bars and eateries. Staff on Reception were very busy to be fair, but rather abrupt and unhelpful when checking in and out. We checked in at 2pm but our friend's room wasn't available until 3pm which wasn't very helpful when we had made […] plans for a meal at that time; they used our room to get ready in. Very modern reception and bar areas and the staff were really helpful and accomodating. Rooms were nice and had comfortable beds, only negatives were stained carpets and splashed water marks on the (misted glass) bathroom door . Couldn't be closer to the train station or shops but not sure on the nearby nightlife as we didn't venture too far because […] it was raining! Les mer

Great base to explore Leeds. Close to bars, shopping & beside train station. Breakfast a bit expensive considering what's available nearby. Sky Sports in bedrooms which was great.

"shabby all round"
Hairs in bath tub. Cold room service. Broken gym equipment. And dont stay in room 402 unless you want to be woken up at 6am to the sounds of a treadmil. Definitely not worth the money

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Park Plaza Hotel, the room was great, lovely breakfast, very clean but we did have one item of room service we weren't very happy with. We ordered the room service at around half past ten at night due to us not feeling well enough to go out to eat and being tired so we did not complain straight away. Instead […] we mentioned it when we checked out only to be told because we didn't complain at the time we would only be able to be discounted 15% of our room service bill which was only around £2.50 instead of the £7.00 we spent on the item. If you get a chance stay here , it is meant to be one of the top ten hotels in the Uk and once you have stayed , you can see why. Good points system for stays which can build into free nights etc. Hotel - by raiway station and main shopping areas - 5 mins walk.
"Girly weekend"
Another good stay in this hotel, although we were disappointed that we could only reserve a table in the hotel restaurant at 7 pm despite requesting a reservation for 8 pm the minute we arrived. It was also a little annoying that the restaurant called us three times beforehand to remind us of our reservation and reminded us we couldn't afford to be […] late. Rooms were clean, but there were a number of bulbs out which was rather distracting, although the one in the wardrobe lit up just fine! "Great hotel - but restaurant and bar lacking"
The hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of Leeds beside the main financial area, the train station and also very close to the main nightlife of Leeds. There is no car park, but this isn't a huge problem. A two minute walk away is the Q-Park, a very clean and secure car park. Park Plaza have a discount arrangement which brings an overnight […] parking fee down to £9.99. Some of the decor is starting to get dated in the rooms and I had an iron mark right in the middle of the carpet - but this is purely wear and tear. It's reassuring to see that the hotel is renovating large areas to address this. A sign apologised for the 'mess' but there was none in sight on our visit. Overall, a great hotel and somewhere I would definitely recommend and stay at again. The rate from Hotels.com was a great deal. The only disappointment was the ever-declining Chino Latino Restaurant and Bar. They should about awards they won two or three years ago and rightly so, it WAS impressive. These days, the restaurant and its food is not what it used to be - and after trying to get a drink at the bar at 12.30am on a Friday night, we were told that it was bottled beer only. Despite having a closing time of 2am. The bartenders looked like they were in a rush to get home, had already cleaned the bar and put the cages up on the backbar to stop any bottles being removed. This was despite around 10 people still in the bar. There was a time where Chino Latino's bar was an impressive unknown gem in Leeds with excellent staff who knew what they were doing. This is no longer the case and I wont be visiting the bar again. Les mer

"Park Plaza - excellent value and location"
The hotel offers a fantastic mix of value, quality and location. It is an easy 5 minutes walk from the train station. All shops, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance which makes the Park Plaza ideal for a weekend break. The rooms are a great size and comfortable and we were surprised to have bathrobes and slippers in a room that was […] such great value. The standard of the fittings are excellent throughout the hotel. We didn't use the bar or adjoining restaurant but both looked very appealing. Considering how central this hotel is, we didn't notice any street noise, even on the 4th floor. We are going back to Leeds this month and are planning to return to the Park Plaza without doubt. Ideal location in the city centre. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. However, we did experience noise throughout the night from doors banging and people shouting the corridors. This was the only problem we encountered. I've stayed at this hotel a number of times within the last 6 years. Good points: location close to the train station and center of Leeds, pretty quiet, comfortable bed, large bathroom compared to the other places we stayed in England, pleasant helpful staff at check-in Bad points: carpet was filthy dirty with little balls of dust and stains, air conditioning blew hot air no matter how we adjusted it and the first night […] it was too windy to leave the window open for cool air--it kept blowing shut. We were so busy with business commitments while we there that we never had a chance to talk to staff about problems. So it is possible that they may have tried to help if we had spoken to them. Good location with nice enough room - pity we had problems with the opposite room which had more than its fair share of occupants. We had very little sleep despite the hotels best efforts to sort. It's location contributes given most bars, clubs, eateries are within close proximity and folk will club together to share etc. Nonetheless if you like to […] party at weekends, don't mind the lack of sleep then this is the place for you!! This hotel is situated right in the centre of Leeds and is the perfect location for shopping, restaurants and bars. The check in was a bit slow as everyone seemed to be waiting to check in at 2 so there was a long queue by 2.15. My only other moan would be that there are only mirrors in the bathroom, none in the room itself, not good for us girlies […] going on a night out and trying to get ready! "Great location clean modern hotel"
The location is great, right in the centre of Leeds, near the station, and the shopping centres. We stayed on the 11th floor, with a nice view over the city, and absolutely no noise heard from the trains, or night life. Very clean, smart rooms too. Definitely recommend this place. I didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food.

The hotel is very central and 2 mins walk from the train station. The room was reasonably clean and comfortable, but the carpets were absolutely filthy, both in our room and throughout the hotel. The bar prices were outrageous: only 2 types of white wine available, and we were charged £6.90 for a 250ml glass. I doubt the bottle cost half that. Kan varmt anbefale et ophold på dette hotel, servicen er helt i top og maden er vidunderlig. desuden er beliggenheden helt optimalt, så alt i alt et hotel man skal opleve hvis man kommer forbi Leeds.

Iso hotelli, sijainti mainio aivan kaupungin keskustassa. Huoneemme sijaitsi 18. kerroksessa, joten katujen melu ei häirinnyt. Aamupala oli tasoltaan tyydyttävä, hinta oli korkea. Huoneen TV oli vahnanaikainen ja siihen liittyvä internet-toiminto oli olematon/hankala, mutta silti maksullinen. Huoneeseen tehtiin tarpeettomia tarkistuskäyntejä, mm kysymässä, […] onko siivottu. Kylpyhuone oli puhdas, samoin vuode, mutta kokolattiamatto oli tahmean likainen ja tunkkainen. Ikkunoiden pesuun ei oltu satsattu, joten muuten hieno näkymä yli kapungin jäi likaisen ikkunan sumentamaksi. Ihan ok paikka, mutta pölyallergiselle en suosittelisi. Les mer

Straks ved ankomst føler man sig velkommen. Receptionen er høflig og imødekommende, værelserne flotte og der er kaffe/the (pulver/brev) og vandvarmer hver dag på værelset. Morgenbuffet er noget af det bedre - faktisk i top. Hotellet ligger 100 meter fra Leeds Station og forbindelserne til f.eks. Manchester Lufthavn (75 min i tog) er optimale. Hotellet […] ligger samtidig tæt på = næsten i centrum hvilket sammenholdt med nærhed til station er helt optimalt. Leeds er fyldt med ungdom p.g.a. Universitetet så der er altid liv i gaderne. Restauranter er der rigeligt af og maden meget international. Les mer

Hotel céntricamente situado, al lado de todo. Enfrente de la estación.Limpio, elegante y moderno. No probamos el restaurante,pero alrededor del hotel hay multitud de sitios para comer/desayunar y galerias comerciales. Si busca calidad y buén precio, este hotel es totalmente aconsejable.
