Hvis man går gjennom Museum Gardens tar der drøye fem minutter å gå inn til sentrum av York.Goldsmith's ligger i et sjarmerende og stille nabolag og blir drevet av ekteparet Susan og John som gjør sitt ytterste for at deres gjester skal ha det fint. Anbefales på det aller varmeste.

Veldig bra opphold! Rommet jeg fikk var av god hotell standard. Nytt, rent og nødvendige funksjoner. Litt lite rom, dersom man ønsker å tilbringe mer enn natten der. Veldig hyggelig vertskap. Frokost var både typisk engelsk, men også kornblandinger mm, for oss som er glad i det. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Ankom york tidlig den dagen vi skulle sjekke inn, fikk rommet vårt fire timer før tiden, helt utrolig bra service! Nærme alt, bare fem minutter gange til sentrum :) bra standard på rommet, veldig fint. Var litt lytt, knirket litt i gulvet fra de over, men det var ikke noe man la merke til etter hvert :) frokosten var ikke helt på topp, men det lå en matbutikk rett ved og mange pubber og andre plasser de solgte god mat, så det var ikke noe problem!

"Hotell Park Plaza Leeds - midt i smørøye"
Meget sentral beliggenhet med 1 min å gå til jernbanestasjonen. Bra hotell med fornuftige priser.

Vi likte hotellet, samsvar med annonsen osv. Vi fikk et gebyr på 50 GBP som vi nektet å betale men det ble da trukket allikevel av kortet. Rommet ble heller ikke rengort og håndklær ikke byttet siste natta. Etter 3 henv til resepsjon kom håndklær kl 20.00 på kvelden !

Vi var på hotellet i 3 netter og synes hotellet var bra med meget sentral beliggenhet. Vi kom med tog fra Manchester, og stasjonen lå svært nært hotellet. Flott utsikt fra 15. etasje.

Hotellets plassering i Leeds er veldig sentral. Store fine rom, litt slitt. Stygg lukt på badet da vi kom, ble ordnet, men ikke helt bra. Bra betjening, godt renhold, fin lobbybar, flott frokost.

The stay was fabulous......the staff was extremely friendly....very clean, nice and has a great restaurant....breakfast had a nice varierty of vegetarian options...located a few minutes walk from the station which was convenient too..the hotel had no or very limited parking which was the only issue

Room was very cold and smelt of stale smoke, despite me requesting a non smoking room Large red wine stain on the bedding, No bath no room service menu in room - got overcharged and when I called to resolve it nobody bothered to phone me back Very unsatisfactory
"Very noisey and not that nice"
The hotel room was a bit cheap and shabbily maintanied and I was hoping for more to be honest. Very noisey area. Even though I was on the 14th floor the people on the street kept me awake. The plumming is dreadful. When residents came in after their nights out I was continually woken by very loud banging plumbing. I wouldn't stay here again.

the hotel was very easy to find well positioned for a night out our room was nice clean and quiet we were on the 14th floor which looks out over the city we will book again the staff were efficient although the bar prices were a bit steep

"Not up to 4* standard"
The room I stayed in was grubby, the furniture was worn, the bathroom was dirty, the TV reception was terrible, the towels were hard and there were dirty marks all over the carpet. I would not stay in this hotel again, and it was most definitely not up to 4* standard.

Hotel was in an excellent location for bars/clubs... only 10 mins walk away. The hotel reception area looks very nice and modern however the rooms differ from this. The carpets are grubby, the wood is chipping away and the bathroom is going mouldy. However we still did enjoy a pleasant enough stay there but I would probably book the travelodge next […] time because of the price of this hotel but the quality I would guess is the same in a travelodge. Also we parked in the train station as on saturdays and sundays its only £4 per day parking so was cheaper than the q parks car park even with the discount from the hotel. Les mer

"Worst hotel"
Rooms are smelling, toilet is not so good, feeling cold in the room even after zircon, red color carpet are worst and also smelling a lot, they do not have LCD or LED tv in the room, overall experience is not so good. They have been charged for Executive city room but Allocated Superior room. I am not recomending this hotel to anyone.

Across from Leeds Station and alongside the shopping district, you can't beat the Park Plaza Leeds location. The restaurant and room service food ranged from fairly good to very good. The room was spacious and clean, the free WiFi worked and the bed was very comfortable. In all, good value for money. the hotel was perfect for 0ur weekend break. it was clean. the staff was very helpful.the food was excellent. it is ideal for shopping ..close to all the main shops and railway station. the only problem is parking.

Fantastic hotel opposite train station for superb location. Entrance was tucked around the corner but easy to find & receptionist friendly & quick. Room was great, I had 11th floor, superb views and was very luxuriously appointed included a queen sized bed. I had a great nights sleep and will definitely stay again. I was up in Leeds on business and booked this hotel as it looked excellent value for money. To my amazement when I arrived, the hotel was far beyond my expectations. Very modern and extremely well maintained. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Leeds is an exellent place for a night out if that's your interest. Parking isn't cheap […] though! Pretty much everything about this hotel was perfect. The only downside was the hotel bar not opening late. Still an excellent hotel and will stay there again.

A great contemporary hotel... Modern, clean and well located. My only criticism is that for a modern hotel I was surprised to see an old CRT TV with limited channels. Aside from that it was all very good.

"Did what it said but no more"
Central location is best thing about here. Although service on reception was quick, my room was very basic, a bit old and could do with a good maintenance overhaul. Everything works but it feels like a 3* hotel trying to be a 4* and falling just short.
"Disappointing Stay at The Park Plaza"
Not normally one to complain but have stayed at thIs hotel before and experienced a totally different stay. When we arrived we went to the 4th floor and entered the room to discover the carpet that was supposed to be red was stained dirty brown and crunched under your feet like there was plastic bags under it. The tv was a big box in the corner which […] wasn't particulary in keeping with the hotel. The chair at the vanity unit was like one you would have in a conference hall and was again stained dirty brown. Bathroom was fine. The air conditioning was broke so room was cold and wouldn't go warmer. We didn't complain but went to phone reception for restaurant recomendations and the phone was broke so couldn't even call them. Phoned off mobile and asked for a better room but only to be told they were fully booked. Very disappointed. There were no spare pillows in wardrobe so on the way back in we asked for some as the phone didn't work and that was a lot of trouble to them. Will not risk staying again for fear of being allocated a room like that again. ITS A SHAME AS THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT. Les mer

The rates of the hotel were reasonable and couldn't complain one bit about the comfort, the relaxation area (bar), the hotel itself was just brilliant!

Excellent location, room was lovely and the bed comfortable, however there was a constant noise from the bathroom which made it difficult to sleep. The complementary breakfast in the morning helped ease the lack of sleep. Room no 503, ask for a different room.
"Park Plaza, Leeds - Ideal Location"
I only stayed only one night, having travelled up from the South for an early start event the following day. I also took the opportunity to meet with customers in the City centre on the evening I arrived. My first thought was how well located the hotel was, directly opposite the station & in the heart of Leeds centre. There are all the shops, bars, […] clubs & restaurants you will need all very close by. On arrival, my room was not quite ready, but the staff showed me through to the bar area, where I grabbed lunch & made use of the free wi-fi service. When ready, the reception staff came to find me & I went to my room. The room was very spacious, a corner room, & had everything I needed. It was very clean & conmfortable & having an iron & board in the room, as standard, is something many other hotels should take note of. I didn't use it, but there was a well stocked mini-bar & complementary coffee, tea, water & even a expresso machine. I had a very comfomfortable nights sleep & left ready for the event I was attending just outside the city centre. Overall, for the price & location, I would certainly look to use this hotel for business trips again. It would also be an ideal base for Xmas & other shopping trips. Les mer

Very welcoming and helpful staff on reception, comfy beds, lovely big baths and delicious food in the restaurant. Ideal location as it's central to all amenities -shops, cinema, restaurants. Rooms not huge, but great for a night or two. Good value for money.

Hotel is in a need of a bit of refurbishment - the carpets through out the hotel hallways and in the room were dirty and full of cigarette holes, the sofa had several tears, the furniture was scratched and looked tired, there was mould in the shower. While it is obvious that hotel was very nice couple of years ago, it does look a bit tired and dirty […] due to the carpets and although my room was clean. I also had a wake up call at 7am that I did not order. The TV only has a few channels, not the usual freeview and that was a dissapointment for a 4* hotel. Les mer

The g/fd commented on the fact that it was very well sound proofed (& she stays in a lot of hotels for business) I said it reminded me of travel lodge / premier inn cos it was quite basic but for the price I couldn't expect a lot more. Big advantages over the likes of travel lodge / prem Inn was the rooms were very well soundproofed & being on the 18th […] floor the views of Leeds were excellent ;o) Les mer
