This hotel was run down but clean. It was one of the few that would take a small dog. There were few ameneties - not even sugar with the coffee, but things were available in the tiny crowded lobby.

ESA--a budget hotel, but not a budget price. The lock box for late night arrival didn't work. There was not shampoo in the bathroom. Some of these hotels have fitness facilites, this one didn't. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel room was not clean at all pots and pans were sticky plates had grime and dirt and food on them there were loose hairs and toe nails on floor and bathroom. It was a non smoking room but the room smelled of cigarettes and there were matches on the bathroom floor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!!!!

The front desk gentleman was most courteous and helpful. Made us most comfortable staying at the hotel.

Bed was comfortable, but there was an air freshener in the room that I had to hunt down and disconnect as the smell was awful. Hot shower in the morning.

A very basic place. Room had a slightly unpleasant food smell, but all in all an adequate stay.

The hotel was in reasonably good shape and the front desk lady was very nice, but our room had toenails that someone had trimmed on the carpet between the beds, and the toilet was not cleaned thoroughly; there were 2 public hairs on the seat and grime also. We were tired from an 850 mile trip and had to leave early and quickly the next morning, so no […] formal complaints were registered. My husband and I stayed at the Extended Stay in Mt. Olive over night on 10/23/10. Walking into the lobby, it was worn down looking, and small. We got our room key and went to the 2nd floor. Immediately upon walking out of the elevator (which was filthy, there were scratches on the walls, dirty hand prints, and graffiti on a poster in the elevator), […] the carpet was filthy, torn and stained. The walls were filthy, with dirt, hand prints, and other unknown substances. Our room was dimly lit. The microwave had some sort of food smeared across the front. The bedding had cigarette burns and holes in it. The bathroom floor had not been mopped in quite some time. There were no shampoos or plastic cups in the bathroom. I actually went out and bought slippers rather than put my bare feet on the floor, it was that disgusting. We also bought our own cups and utensils for fear the ones in the room were not properly washed. I opened the windows and something wet and slimy was on the window locks. The hotel itself gave off the feeling of a horror movie. I truly worried about my safety outside (it was not well lit) and even in my own room. I have stayed at other Extended Stay's before. This was by far the most disgusting and scary hotel I've stayed at. We were staying out for our wedding anniversary, and it was depressing to think a night we'd saved for was spent in such a hell hole. Don't stay unless you have to. Les mer

This Extended Stay is in an exceptionally quiet, almost scenic location. The front, up on a hill, looks over the back of a shopping center and then across a large valley (mostly trees), while the back and both sides look out at patches of woods. It's a much more peaceful, pleasant setting than the usual motel surrounded by noisy highways, buildings, […] and asphalt. The other guests were also very quiet, and I was never bothered by anything they did. The motel itself is only a few years old (as of April 2010) and its efficiency rooms have an intelligent, easy-to-live-with layout. I stayed for four nights and was very satisfied with everything, which is rare for me. Someone complained that the WiFi was slow, but it seemed about average to me. The best restaurant in the area appears to be the Longhorn steakhouse a half mile down the road to the left, a better-than-usual chain steakhouse with excellent food and a good atmosphere. There's also a WalMart with a supermarket section near Longhorn, as well as several other restaurants. Coming and going to this motel from the west on I-80 is a bit loopy (get a map before you go), but roads and turns are very well signed and easy to negotiate once you're there. It's short and direct to come and go on I-80 from the east. If I'm ever in that area again, I wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else. It's the nicest, most comfortable Extended Stay motel I've ever stayed in. Les mer

This was my second stay at this hotel. It's a great economical option for pet owners. The rooms were spacious and very clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Large outside area in the rear of the property to walk a dog. Staff was incredibly pleasant and accomodating. Lots of restaurant choices and shopping in the area although you will need a car. It was nice to have a room with a view of a grassy knoll with real deer! The room was adequate for my "out-of-town" needs; a firm bed, a recliner and the local channels on the tv. I was able to reheat my leftovers from the restaurants that were just up the hill and any shopping that I needed to do was conveniently just up the hill as well. The staff […] was great and made sure I was taken care of before the desk closed for the night. My wake-up calls were "computer generated" but they only missed one...I will use them again! Les mer

The accommodations are bare bones. The floor we stayed on had the strong smell of cigarette smoke. The room that we stayed had a very strong smelled of air freshener (to cover the cigarette smoke????). The bed and bedding were obviously low budget materials and less that what I expected.
