Stayed 5 nights in a room smaller than we expected from pictures. Twin beds are also small and really hard. Room was very clean, with fresh towels every day. The aircondition makes a lot of noise, we actually thought the neighbours had endless showers as it sounded like that. Tried breakfast once, was served very little bread and there was no refill […] of eggs and bacon which was empty. Last day our transfer to the airport came 10 mins early, the receptionist insisted her clock was correct and almost pushed us out of the hotel. Not a friendly goodbye. Les mer

Søsteren min og jeg var der 4 netter i fbm TdF. Vi er svært overrasket over hvor bra hotellet, rommet, omgivelsene var! Rommet var veldig pent, badet stort og fint, så helt nytt ut! Gratis trådløst nettverk! Koselig bar/kafe ved siden av med hyggelige verter. Matvareforretning rett over gata, veldig kort vei til metro, gangavstand til Montmartre-området! […] Vi kan dessverre ikke si noe om frokosten, for det hadde vi ikke på hotellet, men vi har iallefall absolutt ingenting å utsette, og kommer veldig gjerne tilbake :) Les mer

We were very pleased with our four nights at Hotel France Albion. It is located very close to Moulin Rouge (could almost see it from the Hotel), and the people at the reception spoke English and were very nice and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, and it was a safe present. We had our windows toward the street, but we did not hear any noise if […] the windows were shut. The room also had good air conditioning. We did not eat breakfast here, as we found it a bit pricy (alomst 14 E per person), but there were no problem finding good food in Paris! Right across the street there was a supermarket were you can buy food, drinks etc. Would stay here again, it was a good hotel - taking into condsideration that we are both (poor) students. There were also several Metro stations close to the hotel, especially Saint Georges, Notre-Dame-de-Lourette, and Pigaelle. Les mer

This is a basic hotel, small rooms, BBC on the TV, expensive internet, my room was not cleaned when I returned early afternoon, and the bathroom had a drainage problem. But staff speak good English, and the area is quiet, has a good selection of restaurants, and is in walking distance from Montmartre.

We spent 19 days at the Albion and it was a great time, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect, between two Metro Stations and within walking distance to a great many attractions. I will recommend the hotel to anyone I know heading for Paris.

This is a clean friendly hotel located in a good quite neighborhood. Restaurants in the immediate area. The room was good for me, the staff was a big help and very friendly. Can't say anything bad about this place.

Very friendly English speaking staff. The hotel was clean and in a good area of town close to 2 metro stations. Very nice breakfast in a beautiful cellar type room. My bedroom was a single and quite small but had everything I needed.

discovered that by booking on line I had to pay a considerable more rent than I would have it made directly with the hotel. other members of family received a much better rate and I brought the business to them. not fare.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel France Albion, the room was clean, excellent shower, toiletries, free safe and clean towels everyday. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, even when we locked ourselves out of our safe! The breakfasts were more than adequate and we enjoyed breakfast in our room at no extra cost! The hotel was 2 minutes walk […] from the Metro and also within walking distance of Gard de Nord and Sacre Coeur. I would recommend the hotel to friends and definitely use it again. Check out time was 12 o'clock which was helpul, they also let us check in earlier than stated in the booking details. Les mer

Was so overly impressed by this hotel, I must say i was not expecting much as it was only rated 2 stars but everybody that served us were super friendly and helpful and our room was clean with lovely interiors, there wasn't much of a view but that was not an issue for us. We would definatley stay here again for the same price!

I spent just two nights in Paris before heading south where I'm spending a couple of months. I don't need luxury in hotels abroad; I'd rather spend money eating and shopping. What I do want in a hotel is cleanliness, decent (safe) location, close to transportation, and friendly staff. And the France Albion was a winner on all counts! The room - a "Simple" […] single - was tiny, with just a twin bed, but it was clean, the window opened with ease, and the hot water was hot. The elevator worked just fine. The staff were, to a person, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is one very short block away from the Metro (the stop is "Notre Dame de Lorette"), and from there all of Paris is accessible. The neighborhood itself, though, has plenty of restaurants and grocery marts. All this would have been enough for my 5-star rating, but one desk clerk made herself a superstar in my book by agreeing to engage in a long, aggravating phone conversation with the railroad about a piece of baggage I was shipping separately from myself. She never seemed bothered that I'd asked in the first place, and she made it through with aplomb. This was Four Seasons service in a 2-star hotel. I would definitely go back to the France Albion when I'm in Paris again (which I hope is soon). Les mer

Great location, very sweet staff. It is a great place to sleep, not to hang out. Very, very close to Metro. Nice neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes nearby. Walking distance to the Grand Opera House. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is very handy as it is near to a metro. It is within walking distance to the Sacre Couer and Printemps shops. Opposite is a carrefour supermarket. THe people are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there is no electric kettle for tea making. Do not mind if there is no bar fridge but i think to have a cup of […] tea or coffee in winter is a must so it is not convenient. Although when we ask (as i was sick with flu) the staff gave me a hot pot of water in the evening. Also while we were there there was work done next door so the banging and renovation work was quite noisy. And the doors are not sound proof so you can hear people in and out. For the location and cleanliness and friendliness, I give it a 3.5 star as it is a nice hotel but without tea making facilities, i do not know if i will stay there again. Also good is that they arrange airport shuttle for euro36 for 2 people which is handy. I must say the place is clean although not new but sheets are changed everyday and they give the bath a good wipe. Good little hotel for the price. Les mer

Good location, very close to the subway station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small, but considering the usual size of hotel in Paris, it was acceptable. The bathroom was a little bit outdated but clean. We really like its location.

This is a truly wonderful hotel. Staff friendly and knowledgeable but don't insist on speaking English (we're fluent French speakers). Room attractive and comfortable. It was also quiet at night - in spite of being at the front overlooking the road. The area is full of interesting shops: specialist butchers and cheese shops, chocolate makers, boulangeries, […] etc. Some v.good restaurants at reasonable prices. Equidistant from Sacre Coeur and Grands Magasins - both easily walking distance, although Metro within 100 metres. What more could anyone want? Les mer

We had some difficulty locating the hotel when we first came out of St Georges train station but after we found it, it was not too far from the train station, about 60m away. We had a comfortable room with two single beds on the fourth floor. It was clean and cosy and the room was cleaned up well each time we returned from our day trips. The receptionists […] were also very helpful. I remember asking for hot water from the front desk and they offered us a kettle! The room also comes with a safe, free wireless internet and a bathtub, all in all - a very homey place. It was also very accessible by train and is a ten minute walk from Moulin Rouge and Galleries Lafayette. We felt safe even while coming home late, at around 11-plus pm. There is a carrefour supermarket right in front of the hotel with a wide selection of food so it was also very convenient for us to get groceries. The hotel also helped us to arrange for our transfer back to the hotel - 18 Euros per person at a time that we requested for. Les mer

This hotel is quite basic, but nice and clean, realistically priced and ideally located. In particular, bed linen and towels were crisp and clean. There are numerous cafes and shops nearby. The room I was given initially was next to the lift and very noisy, but staff kindly arranged for me to move to another room the next day. Service was always with […] a smile. Excellent staff and excellent location. I have no idea why this hotel only has 2 stars. The staffs are super nice and are fluent in English. Breakfast and coffee is great. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

The hotel is not a luxury hotel by any stretch. It is generally comfortable and suitable for travelers and met our basic needs since we don't spend much time in the hotel. The location is perhaps less than ideal concerning the attractions since most attractions are situated south of the hotel. Two metro stops are close by though, which assists with […] transportation. Me and my wife stayed for one week at the France Albion. The positves are the location is really good with Metro really close as well as most of the popular monuments and museums in walking distance. Breakfest was just ok, there is no professional cook just a really nice girls who treat you really well and make you feel welcome but the limited hot food […] made us get tired of eating there. There is a grociery store right in front of the hotel so you can shop for drinks and snack. Price is good for a hotel in central Paris. Our room was always cleaned every day and after a busy day out it was really nice. Most of the staff was nice. WiFi worked really well. Now the few negitives. The bed was very hard and the bed is only like 180x140cm and im 187cm tall so my feet where standing out of the bed. We tought the woman in reception that was there on dayshift made us feel like we where not welcome. One time we came into the reception and no one was there and since you have to leave your key when you go out you need to get it when coming back, we waited for few minutes and we gave up and went behind the desk and got the key ourselfs but that made us fell more unsafe leaving our laptop in the room since people from the street can just walk in and take our key and help them self to our stuff. All in all we went there with a little high expectations but overall we liked my stay and would stay there again. Les mer

This year was our second visit to Hotel France Albion, we did not hesitate to book this hotel again for our Pairs city break, the staff are so friendly courteous and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, the breakfast is superb, the rooms spotlessly clean, the area is very safe at any time of day or night. It faces a supermarket so snacks drinks or […] anything else you may need is just a few steps away. We did a late night river Seine cruise to see 'Paris by Night' afterwards we travelled back to the hotel using the metro system which is fabulous, safe, easy and cheap and only 2 mins walk from the hotel, our overall experience once again did NOT disappoint in any way at all and we will definately stay there again on our next visit to Paris. Hotel was lovely, staff VERY helpful, could not help us enough, breakfast was always superb and again, staff always greeted you with a smile on their face which is all you can ask for. If you are going here on the Metro, use St George station rather than Notre Dame de Lorette as it is nearer.

Hotel is located within a few minutes from Notre Dame de Lorette and Le Pelletier métro stations. Near to many cafés and restaurants as well as a few supermarkets. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again

I would have given this place all fives except that when I was saying there, their wifi went down and all guests had to congregate in the lobby to use a local hotspot. Needless to say, for those of us who were on skype with loved ones and or business calls, this was not a pleasant experience. It was a good value for the price. The street is under construction with jack hammer at 6h am. If you are on the 1 floor you will hear the noise of the entry door of the Hotel. beside that is was very good.

Great location, great staff, great stay! The only downside is the walls are a little thin and you can easily hear things in the hallway but it wasn't a problem for me. I hope to definitely be back to stay.
