Hotellet ligger midt i Sonoma Valley og er et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å oppleve flotte vingårder, drikke god vin og nyte deilige dager i solen. Servicen er korrekt og hyggelig, rommene store og komfortable, treningsrom, basseng og uteområder ypperlig vedlikeholdt. Restauranten er både koselig holder høy kvalitet. Spesielt vil vi framheve frokosten, selv om man faktisk må bestille bord og beregne litt ventetid om morgenen. For golfere betyr det også en del at hotellet ligger mellom to gode golfbaner og gjestene får rabatt. Den dagen vi ankom ble vi endog invitert på rimelig "farmers" evening, med ølsmaking, servering av lokale spesialiteter og deilg mat med masse øl til....

Dette hotelle overrasker, det er rent og det ser bra ut. Det er opptil norsk standard og man betaler litt over halv pris. Det er et basseng, og et treningsrom, men treningsrommet var ikke mye å skryte av dessverre, men det er en fin sti bak hotellet man kan gå eller jogge. Hotellet hadde meget bra frokost og den varte en stund. Det er kort vei til alt og man hører heller ikke noe støy utenfra, noe som kan være et problem ved andre hoteller. Det er kort vei til mall og outlet og det er i god stand. Servicen er også veldig bra her, de hjelper deg med det meste.

We were a family of 5, from the age of 13 to 73 - and we were all totally happy about Elm House Inn. Service and rooms were excellent, and atmosphere was personal and exclusive. We felt like visiting the wealthy nice family in America who did everything possible to make our stay positive, with goal to make us want to come back. Breakfast was fantastic and the cookies in the evening was something special. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to downtown Napa, which was a very nice little place to visit. We will definately recommend this to others and come back next time we visit Napa. Thank you to all staff at Elm House Inn :-)

"Great for the price and decent location"
If you want to have a getaway in napa and the valley on a budget, this is a very good option. The microwave and decnt-sized fridge in the room were a plus and so was the good selection of tv channels for when you get back to the room at night after a long day of wine tasting. The heated pool was a good addition to the package but you likely won't use […] it much....it is Napa after all. There's plenty free parking and it is very close to downtown napa and the surrounding towns. Just dont expect the free continental breakfast to be much. It was just cereal, fruits and some Danish. "Better than I thought..."
the exterior of the property does not reflect the cleanliness, comfort and quiet the property possesses. Although the smell of cleaning fluids was very strong, after a few hours of opening the windows, it disappeared. I would recommend this property for value, location and cleanliness. Bare bones but the price reflects that!

The location is great. 5minutes from downtown NAPA, 14 Minutes from Silverado, just off hwy 121. easy access on/off. the rooms are old, but clean. The air conditioner was relatively quiet and did a good job. The bed was VERY firm. A little too much for a side sleeper like me. it is a beautiful and peacefull place, the service was really good the receptionist had an excellent acttitud and she was really helpfull explaine us all about the places we can visit around there and when we went to the room it was really clean, it was amazing really.

This hotel is clean, has some updated features and is 5 minutes to downtown Napa. The rooms are small and cramp. The staff are friendly and service was great. The continental breakfast qualifies under the bare minimum. So if you are in Napa and don't want to pay the big bucks, you could stay here because it's close and convient. I cannot believe this hotel! I am not sure what I paid for it, but I know it was FAR LESS than it is worth!! I did not catch the name of the woman who checked me in, but she set the bar HIGH for anyone else! So, friendly and informative. Breakfast at this time at this location, free bottled water in your room in side the refrigerator, free internet […] and the code is right here and so on! I was thinking "WOW"! in my business, we are always looking for WOW moments. That was one. The room did have a Pine Sol smell to it, but it was certainly clean. It looks to have been redone WELL! The rooms are all in a square around the pool area. It was a little too cool for pooltime, but I will be back. There are also places to grill in the courtyard. Keep that in mind and make friends!! You will make friends, but more on that later. I went to the wineries later than I intended, but knew that they hotel would be able to open the bottle I purchased. I was not let down. They saw me coming across the courtyard and asked "Need a Wine Opener"! That was WOW moment number 2! It was like I was camping with my friends! The bed was very comfortable. The next morning, breakfast included cereal, oatmeal, fruits, coffee and I think some muffin things that i did not have. I opted for the Cereal and it was good. I would have liked a Bagel, but there were not any this time. Maybe next time. There were a couple of folks in there and we all just kicked up a conversation talking about the are and the local news (there were Napa Newspapers on most tables). Come to find out, one of them worked there too as she checked me out when I left shortly after breakfast. I can say I will be back! Les mer
"Good value - clean and comfy"
This is an older 1960's motel that has been recently renovated and is very clean! Our room had fresh paint, newer carpet, and a re-done bath. Overall, a good value for the money- close to downtown Napa, close to a strip mall with a grocery store and a CVS, a comfy room with a mini fridgefree continental breakfast, and free wireless internet. One of the 10 worst hotel rooms ever! When we hauled our luggage etc into the 1st room, we discovered the heater didnt work at all and it was a very cold rainy day. We moved our stuff, still raining, to another room. In the 2nd room: the water ran orange out of the faucet, there was a horrible stain in the seat of the only comfy chair, the heater worked […] but it was either on and 85 degrees or off. We had to turn it off but had brought an extra blanket so tho we were cold - we survived. Clocks had never been changed to DLS so the next morning we were an hour off our game plan. The shower ceiling is so low if anyone over 5'10'' tries to use it - forget about it. And the bed sheet was crossways across the bed instead of longways and didnt cover our feet! Oy Vey! Les mer
"What a quaint lodge."
I loved it... after spending all day driving ( & drinking ) from vineyard to vineyard we finally came to rest here... did some groceries right around corner & had ourselves a nice little meal (picnic like) with the wine we had purchased at Sutter Home Vineyard. Loved it Loved it Loved it & would love to do it AGAIN.

"A Pleasant Nights Stay"
I stayed for a single night and I'd have to say it was very pleasant. The room was very clean and had a nice aesthetic, big comfortable bed. All in all a very nice stay I highly recommend it.

Hotel is actually more of a motel. The first room that they sent me to was not acceptable so they sent me to another room which was better. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but the lighting was terrible. I had to move furniture around to be able to read in bed - and it was still dark. Location is ok because it's close to Route 29 and downtown […] Napa. Also, they do provide WiFi but there is not business center so if you don't bring your laptop you are pretty isolated Les mer

The young people at the dexk who checked us in were very competent and congenial. They gave suggestions for wineries to visit and provided us with a map. The breakfast was O.K.-coffee selections, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit and packaged bakery. There was not any in-room coffee available.

"Good place to stay for the price"
Being one of the cheapest places to stay in Napa, we were quite pleased with the lodge. Room was a little musty, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and made no mention when we showed up 30min. before listed check in. This is not a high priced hotel, and it doesn't try to be. "Not a very warm greeting"
Upon arrival there was a disgruntled "looking" older lady and a young lady at the counter. They were in conversation amongst each other and didn't acknowledge our entrance until they were "good and ready" and done with their conversation. The same disgruntled lady was there at the very simple, not so great continental breakfast in the morning. It seemed […] she was looking over the food like she didn't want anyone to take more than 1 bowl of raisin bran. I'm a pretty easy going gal and not to picky, but this lady gave me a vibe like we were pests to her. That is not how I want to feel when I'm dropping close to Benjamin for a nights stay. Les mer
"Helpful Staff"
The front desk employee who checked us in seemed a little gruff at first (normal for a post-menopausal lady, I suppose), but she was very helpful with recommending wineries for us to explore during our stay. We got some coupons for eateries and hand-drawn directions on the area map. The room itself was very clean and quiet; the bathroom/shower was […] awesome. The only downside was the view from the bathroom window: Foster Freeze and an abandoned parking lot. As far as the hotel as a whole is concerned, it is in a neighborhood that is a mix of residential and commercial. Not the quaint scenic vineyard-like surroundings that one would expect of Napa, but the lower price more than made up for that. The quaint vineyards are only a few minutes' drive anyway. We didn't use the pool or the workout room so I can't comment on those amenities. Overall, a pleasant stay that went easy on our wallets. Les mer
