Dette hotellet er et meget flott hotell. Her opplever man luksus og topp service i en rolig atmosfære. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum men det er veldig bra for de som ønsker ro og fin atmosfære når man er på hotelle, samtidig er det kort avstand inn til byen. De har europas beste Spa avdeling her (kåret i 2011). Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det beste.

Fantastisk opphold i Roma på et hotell med uforglemmelig service! Som et eksempel kan nevnes at en i reisefølget fylte år mens vi var der, og helt uforberedt ble vi i frokosten den gjeldende dagen servert musserende vin og hjemmebakt kake samtidig som betjeningen sang for hun som fylte året. Ellers, kan nevnes velutstyrte rom og sjeldent godt utvalg i frokosten.

Kjempebra hotell som ligger svært godt til i forhold til opplevelser i Roma. Var veldig fornøyd med hotellet, det eneste som drar ned er at sengene var litt for harde. Ellers super service. Har aldri opplevd at rommet blir ordnet 2 ganger om dagen før. Og så fikk vi sjokolade og en oppdatert værmelding til kvelden. Veldig bra hotell :-)

"Avansert ungdomsherberge"
La deg ikke lure av antall stjerner hotellet har. Hotellet har forbedringspotensiale på det meste. Jeg reiser 100 døgn i året og mener å ha noe erfaring av det. Hotellet er et avansert ungdomsherberge. Er man forberedt på det er oppholdet helt ok. Samme frokost variasjon hver dag. Ingenting som peker på at det skulle være fire stjerner. Man flyter på […] stjerner fra gamle dager, da dette var et hotel for det rike og kjente. Slik er det ikke lenger. Løvtynne dører til gangen gjør at du kan høre det meste. Er man litt stor er dusjen en liten utfordring. Man kan fint ta buss 32 til og fra byen. Nå kostet en veis bilett 1 euro (drosje 15-20 eoro til Peters plassen). Det tar ca. 30 minutter til Peters plassen med bussen. Konklusjon, skru ned forventningen til hotellet og du får et bra opphold. Les mer
"Ok hotel"
It is quite a bustrip away from nearest metro station, but still an ok hotel, since the rates are low. The rooms are not spacious. Breakfast is as usual in Italian hotels: mostly focused on pastries and cakes rather than food that keeps you going until the afternoon.

Given the average price paid for night, the overall value of the hotel was fine, and staff was also helpful. Transportation takes time, but bus lines are close to hotel and so is not a big problem. Brilliant Hotel!! Just 10 mins with bus from the Vatican in a very quite neighborhood. The room was with separate living and the breakfast was very nice too. I definitely will go back again next time when i visit Rome!!
The Grand Fleming Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small and the television was outdated but there was a balcony with a nice view. I was impressed with the continental breakfast.
Not good for a 4 star hotel. For 2 stars was ok. The reception man was very nice and polite. The rooms a little small and very noisy (we past into two schools.....!) we could not sleep at all. The lady in the bar, was very rood, she does not know how to do her job, that is very bad for the hotel. We have to wait for 20 minutes to come and take orden, […] from the moment that we called her because, she was playing with her computer. I have travel a lot, and serously this Hotel is been the worse I have ever stayed in. They have HORRIBLE service, they are not frendly at all the Hotel smell like cigarret smoke all the time, the rooms are extremely small, is located on a really ugly area. I will NEVER stay in this Hotel even if they pay for my trip

The holels.com helped me to get a very good rate event though when I arrived to the Hotel the service was really poor. The important point is that the place was really good to going everywhere.

The restaurant is fine with a varied menu, not many English TV channels just CNN and BBC world news. car parking is not the easiest to find and there is a market there which starts at 6 and if your car is in the way they just block it in!!! Hotel was a bit out of the way. Have to take a 20 min. bus ride to reach city center. Only way to buy a bus ticket is to find a tobacco store on the main street...can't get one at the hotel and can't get one on the bus...silly system. Services at the hotels were bad. The reception staff is very cold and distant. I'm not the client is paying for the services offered by the hotel, they offer services for which you paid. Even if you do not ask in front of "health" drinking help you if you will be asked several times until you provide some information. Breakfast is OK, distance from the center and metro link.

You cannot check in prior to 3:00pm. Even if your room is ready the front desk will not let you check in one minute early. My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 am and the front desk made us wait until 3:00 pm. We told then that we had just arrived on a ten hour flight and could they make an exception so we could get some rest, No way! One man […] and one lady at the front desk were pleasant. One man and one lady were not. These two ignore you until it suits them to addess your needs. The man talks at you or down to you. The bedroom is small (rm 630), two twin beds. The b/room is tiny, you have to step up about 12" to get into the shower which seems aboy 30" square. The show is on a vertical bar and so tight you cannot slide the show up or down the bar. We had a good view from the bedroom and the curtains did a very good job of keeping the room nice and dark at night. Also we did not have any outside noises. Breakfast was good. Selection of cereals, Croissants, cake, rolls, juices and coffee and tea. Nice breakfast room, large and well serviced The hotel is not close to downtown. You need to take a taxi, about 15/20 euros or bus 32 for one euro/person. Bus takes about 25/30 minutes. The hotel is in a residental area. There are coffee shops and restaurants in the area and a market across the road from the hotel. Some of the coffee shops/bakeries are great and inexpensive. The coffee shop across the road (kiddy corner from the hotel) is expensive. The restaurant to the right of the hotel and across the road (uno 2 tre) is good. "Hotel Fleming - quiet safe neighbourhood"
Quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Rome is extremely built up so you are unlikely to get anything with a real spacious feel anywhere in the city or even the outskirts. You will need to get a taxi into town which was around 15 Euros. Twin room was clean and had a secure coded safety deposit box. With signs and warnings even before you go to Rome […] about general theft and crime rates this hotel felt extremely safe. Clean bathroom although not the most spacious. More than did the job for a City break on a smaller budget. The reception staff left a little to be desired. Stapling bits of paper on one occasion was more important than seeing to a line of 3-4 guests. On another occasion we asked to book a taxi and were shown where the nearby taxi rank was. We had already been standing at that rank waiting for a cab for 15 minutes hence asking them to book one - this was met with a look and sigh that it was far too much effort!! Got back to the hotel at midnight and the bar was closed so no late night tipple available. Not much sights wise around the hotel although there is one park you could see en route to the City with lots of interesting sculptures and some peace and quiet. About 2 miles away from the Olympic Stadium. Generally a pleasant stay and would use the hotel again as a base to see the City - but with friends so as to split the cost of the cabs into town. Everything in this hotel is ok. Pls noted that its' location is quite far a little bit from the centre but if you ask people around to know the way to reach the public transportation to get into the center, if seem to be interesting to staying here.

Nice and clean hotel with excelent and kind hotel staff. Poor breakfast quality for a four stars hotel and very poor public transportation media (only two buses that stop at 00:25) 300 meters from the hotel.
The A.C. in the rooms are NOT suitable for the hot weather of summertime in Rome at all. The hotel does have a very good bartender though.

The hotel was good only that too removed from the city centre, thanks to the Bus 32 life was made easier a little. The staff were friendly but the room I lodged in had the same sheets for three days/nights until I lodged an official complaint. The breakfast was good though more Italian than Continental. Maybe there should be more natural fruit juices than the ones there of orange and pineapple with a lot of sugar deposits. In retrospect, the amount of money we paid for our stay was good value. However, my wife and I were disappointed with the hotel. The location is not ideal, there is only one bus you can take, the 32, and it is 30 min from the Vatican City. The room was very clean and a decent size, however the bath leaked and the decor was outdated. The neighbourhood […] is a little downtrodden and drab. The staff was extremely helpful, but the hotel just isn't good enough. The a/c barely worked and the in room fridge didn't work at all. with the a/c not working we had to sleep with the window open which isn't bad but our room faced the open terrace on the roof. The worst male counter staff I have seen in Europe. One of the male counter staff was helpful. A/C, TV, and leaking taps a few of the problems. No managers on duty so you can see how things never get resolved!

Not close to any tourist sights. Hotel is a fair stay for the price. The restaurant however is not good.

We had a good experience , nice area the hotel was nice ,clean,. The only problem was that we had to take a bus to downtown area. The airport was about one hour and a half and very expencive by taxi, we paid 70€ Now that I had experience, I will go back again to this hotel and will recommend it. I wish I was in Italy. The Grand Hotel Flemming was a nice hotel. Their breakfast was good, fairly standard for Italy. The hotel was a little far North of the city but the bus took you to the Vatican in about 15-20 minutes.

very far from rome terminus....too difficult to commute....not a gud place to stay....bad & small rooms....water was too hot in the room unable to take shower at a normal temp. rooms were too small and suffocating....

3 out of 4 front desk clerks gave us attitude during our 2 nights stay. We had issues connected to the paid internet. They did not help us make a local call and tell us to buy a phone card to call. We ended up getting a younger front desk clerk who was willing to help us dial the numbers. Room lacks sound proofing.. there were a dozen of kids and young […] adults partying at night (12-2am) and we had to call the front desk 3 time before they did anything to quiet them down. The hotel is nowhere near the main sights of Rome, however they are nearby public transit, so if you don't mind taking the bus, it's great. Most important: ***take public transit to and from the airport, otherwise the shuttles and taxis are really expensive***

There is a very long wait at reception.and it doesn't feel like the staff are happy to help you at all, in fact most of the time we felt we shouldn't approach reception for anything lest we'd be disturbing. The food was absolutely horrendous. The hotel decor is in need of updating but the place was kept extremely clean at all times. The room was very […] comfortable, with a fantastic shower facilities, however there was no tea and coffee-making facilities as you would expect from a 4star. The location was a little far from the centre but buses are very cheap and very frequent and a taxi to the centre costs only around €10. Quindi ho chiesto di cambiarla e sono stati disponibili, ma essendo l'una e mezza di notte ci è scocciato un po'. Aspettatevi un discreto 3 stelle, alle tariffe promozionali va benissimo, a prezzo di listino c'è di meglio. Non centralissimo (Fleming), colazione erogata da macchine automatiche.

Este hotel fue un desastre de principio a fin. no te dan instrucciones concretas de como llegar exactamente despues de la parada del autobus que no sea: a 200m esta el hotel. ok a 200m pero a la derecha,la izq. o hubiera sido mucho mejor haber dicho hay como 3 paradas con el mismo nombre pero debajo de cada 1 ahi otro nombre, asi que asegurese de prestar […] atencion y luego cuando se baje camine hacia su derecha y haga 1 izquierda en la calle o avenida como se llame y a los metros q sea el hotel esta a su izquierda. a mi me tomo 3 dias encontrar que ese metodo era mas facil y directo que bajar la calle, hacer unaderecha y luego subir la pequena cuesta, q despues de un largo viaje y con equipaje de 23 kilos no es facil. otro detalle que se olvidan decirle a uno es que si llegas al Aeropuerto de Roma FCO el tren expreso tiene un valor de 16 euros ($25 dependiendo del valor del euro). sinceramente ni se molesten en comprar el tickete, pq nadie verifica si tiene o no tickete para entrar. solo asegurese q toma el tren correcto y solo hay 2 trenes y si tiene q comprarlo solo compre el de ida al terminar principal. otro detalle cuando tome el autobus ni se preocupe en pagar pq nadie paga por la transportacion en autobus. Ahora mi experiencia en este Hotel. Tras q me tomo 1 hr llegar al hotel (y fue pq tuve la suerte que toda mi transportacion llegaba o salia justo cuando yo me presentaba) me tomo otra hora hacer el check-in. el proceso de check in es rapido pero los problemas despues no lo son. cuando llego a mi suite todo muy bonito pero cuando reviso la puerta del balcon y las ventanas me doy cuenta que la ventana que conecta a otro balcon que se comparte con otras 3 habitaciones no cierra. Recojo y me voy al lobby para cambio de habitacion y el MANAGER ENRICO me dice que no habia mas habitaciones que si queria otra, tenia que hacer otro tipo de habitacion y mas pequena.
