Nice hotel to stay in during the cold of winter. Direct internal access to the mall makes for easy access to shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again.

We couldn't get a hotel anywhere and this one had 4 rooms when we needed it most. Still a close and straight drive to our needed venue. Without the distractions of the big city
"Nisku inn, Nisku, Ab"
Not enough towels. Was woke at 7 a.m w construction workers, again at 8a.m. Then housekeeping was at our door at 8:45 a.m. Room was very humid upon entering. Really affected my asthma. Internet connection was only valid for one phone or computer. Beds were uncomfortable. Had to put a deposit even tho the room was prepaid w a visa. Advised staff upon […] checkout of issues, and all we got was " oh??? Sorry". We will not stay at this hotel or suggest it to anyone, even tho it is located convenient to the Edmonton airport. Restaurant service/food and desk clerks not very pleasant. Close to the air port and has excellant shuttle service. for a quick overnight stay before the flight it was ok but would not return for pleasure or a long stay

The staff were great. The rooms are old and stinky. We asked to be moved to a more updated room and it was virtually the same, just less stinky. This was a nice place 30 years ago. It really needs updating.

The hotel wasn't too bad for an overnight stay considering that it appeared to be under renovations. Though it was close to the train tracks, you could not hear the trains passing by. There were two beds in the room, and one had a serious sag to it. They allow pets, which is convenient when have to travel with them. "Check in very unhelpful"
Paid to stay at the hotel with free parking only to be told and argued with that parking would not be included. That was for 5 min. Then we found the page in our suitcase that stated parking was included took it back down and they said o.k. then. . This was not about the money but how we were treated, which was not good. Many of our friends will no […] longer stay there so hotel will loss a lot of income from that one rude episode. Your manager and your staff definately could use some lessons on customer service. Sorry but that was our experience and will not repeat it on our travels. Les mer

First of all we went to eat when we got there, food portion was so small, I wanted cottage cheese with my rueben sandwich instead of other options and was charged 2.50 for a 3rd cup of it, the hot tub was Luke warm,our room had no heat so they brought us a space heater, was in a non smoking room but everything stunk like smoke
We stayed the first night and had to have someone come to our room as bar for the plugins was not working. we stayed the next week and the problem had not been fixed. Other than that the stay was okay.
"Airport hotel"
This place was so dirty and run down I would never stay there again. Even when I checked out the young woman did not ask if I enjoyed my stay. She knew better. The entrance was a mess ( first clue) mismatched furniture, and floor was caked with dirt. When I went to my non smoking room the whole place reeked of smoke, the room was so run down I was shocked […] ( room 118). The carpet was filthy, the beds had old lumpy pillows, the blanket was so pilled you couldn't touch it. The heat blew constantly but the thermostat did not work so the room was cold. The grate for the heat is hanging off the wall so it rattles all night. The beds was completely worn out. There was a fridge in the room with a door hanging off of it and the rest of the furniture was also beat up. Now to the bathroom. Mold around the shower head (that had the flange hanging down) and the control was broken so that it turned both ways but could not be shut off. It dripped all night. Toilet seat was falling off. OK I've said enough...unless you are desperate spend $20 more and stay somewhere else. Ps they tout a free breakfast..but you get one choice..if you want eggs anyway but scrambled you are told you have to pay full price ( with a $6 credit). I got ice cold leftover scrambled eggs from the huge party ahead of me. Les mer

The hotel was ok, its was under renovation and we where in a old room that really needed an upgrade. Also the food needs improvement. It had a nice common area and the pool was great.

We booked for 2 nights but when we checked in the room was very messy and in need of a asap renovation, the bedding was disgusting as well. We had to sleep with our clothes on and at night it was very noisy. Needless to say we didn't stay for the second night.

I initially asked for front desk to include internet, but he never responded and did not provide the internet code. The guy at the front desk was not very welcoming and was very quiet. Clerk was new and wanted to charge us for our prepaid room 1st room was used and not made up 2nd room had no telephone because the wires in the wall were broken and they didn't want to rip out the wall. 3rd room was huge, nice decore, BUT the thermostat did not work...so cold all night. Sink stopper was broken Staff were pleasant and obliging Free breakfast […] and shuttle to airport were enjoyed. Not enough info on how to use the TV Les mer

"Lower Prices = Dirty Room"
Room carpet was dirty, bathroom ceiling was covered in mould, no shower head, toilet barely flushed. The only good thing about the hotel room was the food I ordered. I am fairly certain that if you book on a deal site, you receive rooms that have not been maintained or renovated. Disappointed to say the least.

"Very nice older hotel"
The atrium is a lovely area, with a pool and hot tub. The restaurants are attractive. We found the food delicious and no too expensive. Breakfast is complimentary and although it was up to dinner's standards, it was fine. There is a shuttle to the airport which is handy for for travellers. Parking for a flight is inexpensive and I think free for over […] night guests. We found it to be nice and quiet for sleeping. We chose this hotel because it is not difficult to get back and forth from the hotel to the Grey Nuns Hospital. Les mer
"Good hotel for a one night stay"
We stayed at this hotel before taking a flight back home. We were recommended the hotel by friends. When we arrived, it didn't look as prestigious as the other hotels in the neighborhood from the outside but it was nice when we got in. The check-in was fast and efficient and we got our room immediately. The room was clean and quite spacious. We liked […] the fact that we were on the first floor and not facing the open area (because the rooms are circled around an open area where the pool and restaurants are) so we didn't hear any noise at all. But we also didn't like the fact that our room's window was right on the back-end parking and we had a huge truck right in front of it. And we didn't really want anyone to look inside our room so we kept the curtains closed. The windows were very foggy anyways probably from the inside pool's humidity... They also serve free continental breakfast which is huge!!! The breakfast was very good and our server was very nice as she spoke french to us since it's our first language. The only very bad thing that happened to us was when we went to the airport to drop-off our rental car. When we wanted to get back to the hotel at 11pm to sleep before our flight the next morning, we were told to wait at a certain area for the shuttle. We were also told to call the hotel if the shuttle didn't show up. So we waited 15 minutes and we called the hotel. They told us they were going to call the shuttle for us. We then waited another 15 minutes before we called the hotel again. We were then told that they were going to make sure the shuttle would show up. At one point, a security agent came to us and asked if we were waiting for someone because he obviously noticed that we'd been waiting for more than 45 minutes!! We told him the situation so he went around and asked all the shuttle drivers if one of them was part of the Nisku Inn round. One of them stepped out and said "Nisku Inn?" So I asked him if he was our shuttle driver and he said yes. Useless Les mer

The mattresses in this hotel are about 30 years old and are very worn and sagging. The business center is horrible with neither computer working. The restaurant is very dirty. We ate there both mornings of our stay and our son's mess was still there the second day from the first. The eggs that were served from the "complimentary" breakfast coupon were […] made about 3 hours prior and are not real eggs! For the price that we paid for this hotel....definitely NOT worth it!! It was a pleasant stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly & helpful, & given the climate of service in Alberta - this is outstanding! The bathroom was a little dated, but clean, and the windows wouldn't open, so the room was a bit stuffy (I like fresh air). Did I mention the staff ? They were truly impressive as any questions, queries or information […] I needed was dealt with in an expedient & professional manner. I will stay here again, even if it isn't the most modern; it is definitely the most pleasant. Les mer

Great service and good food! Really convenient distance from airport. Shuttle service was great too. Hated the stairs but after all the travelling a few stairs weren't that big of a deal. Overall it was a great place to crash for the night!

This hotel has very nice and helpful staff. When asking for a later than regular check out, they try to accomodate your needs. The resataurant have good meals and large choice selection on the menu. The room was clean, but has not been updated in many years, so it looks a little ruff. The king size bed was a bit lumpy and the pillow were a little too […] hard. This Inn needs updating and refocus on service. The atmosphere is quite pleasant with the pool and warm (it certainly was not hot) tub in a central courtyard . The room was clean and the large TV was nice.Here is the BUT the beds were hard, the pillows not great and the bathroom looked old.. There were dirty dishes in the hall when we checked in and […] was still there the next morning, The condition of the wing we were in was rundown and rather shabby. The was a free hot breakfast BUT the service was soooooo slow we left after 20 min as the waitress still had not even taken our order. We where satisfied with the hotel stay. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice and quiet. We had a free breakfast included in the price of the room. Just watch the time frame for the free breakfast. It is only on till 9:30 am. Some other people at the hotel didn't read their coupons and got to the resteraunt to late to get the Free Breakfast. […] They were still able to use the $6 off any item on the menu though. Also appreciated the Free Shuttle Service to and From the hotel. Les mer
"Nisku Inn - Nisku Alberta - close to Airport"
The Nisku Inn was very convenient to the Edmonton International Airport. Free shuttle there, free parking for the time we were away, free shuttle when we returned. The shuttle was quick, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the Sunday brunch was probably the BEST brunch we've ever had. A huge variety of food, and it was all delicious!! Because we […] hadn't used the free breakfast coupon we got to use it towards the cost of the brunch. Only complaint was that the hot tub wasn't working. Les mer

"No elevator"
I liked this hotel but will not be staying again our room was on the second floor and after traveling all day and half the night I would have preferred not having to carry our suitcases up the stairs.

We were very disapointed in the condition of the hotel as it is very old. The clorine smell in our room from the pool was near unbearable. Lamps and fiother fixtures need to be replaced. The food in the restaurant was good and we enjoyed it.

Staff were friendly, Food was good. Hotel hallway was under construction, good and bad I guess. Our only problem was the bed was very uncomfortable, my wife and i had a restless sleep. The restaurant and pool area is top notch, very beautiful, and calm. Shuttle service is handy, and once again staff were friendly.

We have stayed here before and thoroughly loved it. Unfortunately it is undergoing needed renovations right now so it is in a bit of dissarray. This is to be expected from time to time. Hopefully it will be completed next time we want to stay there and we can fully enjoy the courtyard setting once more.

"Convenient to airport, indoor pool great for kids"
Stayed here with kids en route to vacation, and the airport pick-up and convenient location made our trip very easy. Some of the rooms are re-done with nicer bedding and carpetting, we stayed one night in an unrenovated room with older carpet, no shower head, bit of smell in the floor. Second night we stayed in better room with fresher bathroom. Was […] fine for our purposes--an overnight before heading off on a trip. The pool is great for kids, and kids welcomed in hot tub so they had a great time. The breakfast that comes with the room is huge and a good fill-up before heading out to the Rockies. Les mer

We liked the Inn. The reception was welcoming, the room was very clean and the food tasty and not over priced, plus the airport shuttle is free. The staff were excellent; friendly and very efficient. The common areas are clean, very attractive, with shrubbery and white lights which come on in the evening; plus there is pool and a hot tub.
