Hotellet ligger greit til i forhold til butikker og restauranter, men rommene virker gamle og lukter snålt. Ikke et hotell man velger om igjen!

The bed was everything it should be when you flop down face first after a long work trip in the city. The fireplace in room was a lovely touch. Although it rained, we did not have the opportunity to use the front porch, but entering & exiting through the cute patio that was located closest to the street was a nice touch also, it made the room feel more […] honey. We were traveling with someone who just celebrated her 96th birthday. ROOM WAS clean, comfortable and close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Stephanie, who checked us in and helped with dinner reservations was amazing! She made our stay wonderful. The hotel is right in the middle of the shopping area and a short walk to the beach. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. My husband loved the mini-breakfast left outside the door every […] morning. I don't eat dairy or wheat so it didn't work so well for me, but no problem, there are fantastic breakfast restaurants literally across the street. Our first night the room got a bit hot and we realized Room 14 is directly over the laundry. No noise, but some extra heat. The hotel doesn't have as many parking spaces as rooms, so we had to find street parking once. But overall, our room was large and the hotel is simple, well run, and extremely convenient to Ocean Avenue shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed the stay. We always enjoy going to Carmel and this trip was the best yet. The Wayside helped make it that way. Close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff.

This inn is amazing. love the location, staff, room. The breakfast served at daily to the room was perfect. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Perfect location in the heart of downtown Carmel. Easy Parking. Comfy room (although bedding and ambience is frilly if not dated). Great place to stay, location is perfect, the bed is fab!!! we had the King room with fireplace very nice #5. Breakfast is "cute" it is fruit cereal and yogurt delivered. The staff are very nice. If you want a "full" breakfast go out!

I can't think of a single complaint about the Wayside Inn. A group of friends and I had a most enjoyable stay. The decor and appointments of the rooms was wonderful. Service was very accomodating. Breakfast was unique, with a choice of cereals with milk, juices, toast. pastry, and yogurt. It was left outside the door in a cooler so we could have it […] whenever we got up. Excellent single-cup coffee maker in the room, with plenty of sugar and real half and half. Every room has a refrigerator.. Many have a microwave or kitchen. Parking was no problem. hotel smelled musty which is a turn off for me. our room did not have any place to sit outside - some rooms has balcony or chairs in front of room - we had neither.

Wayside was a very good selection! Breakfast delivered to door in insulated bag & coffeemaker in the room, fireplace laid (not used) in separate sitting area, comfy bed, refrig/frzr, easy parking, Very clean and quiet. Had 2nd floor corner unit. Would stay here again.

We had a lovely, quiet room with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The people at the front desk were courteous and helpful, we wanted to watch a dvd and the gentleman came up and installed the player for us. Location is superb also.

The location and staff were amazing! Our room was quiet and spacious. We liked the light breakfast that was delivered to our room, breakfast in the room was such a relaxing way to start the day. The hotel is within walking distance to all of downtown Carmel. The coffee,tea, fruit and cookies in the lobby were a pleasant surprise.

Fantastic but the breakfast wasn't left outside our door at 7:30 am like they said it would. We waited until 8:30 and still no breakfast...office was closed so we went to a cafe.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, walking distance to so many things! We had a 2 double bed suite with a kitchen and it was very nice. The kitchen so handy, the bathroom beautiful and the beds very comfy with super soft sheets. If I go there again, I will definitely request a room on the second floor. Loved this hotel! Mattress a little odd - seemed higher under hips and legs than under back/head. Coffee table by design not real helpful - chair / footstool in room seemed old & out of place and wasn't comfortable. room was always too warm, even tho thermostat was turned off and all windows open. Really nice little hotel with lovely suites in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants in Carmel. Fireplaces, kitchenettes and REALLY great beds and linens. The morning breakfast wasn't brilliant but it kept body and soul together and we got on our way without having to stop. Overall I was expecting a traditional Bed & Breakfast ... And I was anxious for Breakfast delivered to our room. How romantic! However when it was delivered it was two pieces of bread in a ziploc for us to toast in our room, and we made our own coffee (but I can get that at Motel 6, right?) and fruit was a choice of an apple, orange or banana. The bed was really comfortable. Site was quiet and relaxing. Very close to shopping and eateries. only negative was the room had a bit of a gas smell due to pilot on heater. We were able to open windows to air the room. Shower and bath great.

This hotel is older, but our room was very clean and extremely spacious - more like a suite than a room, with a sitting area and dining table adjacent to the bedroom. The room was clean and the proximity to restaurants and beach was priceless. It was a bit outdated and the room was small, but the service was great and the breakfast left at our door in the morning was a nice touch. The kids liked the fresh cookies and apples they had in the lobby and we appreciated the tea and coffee.

AWESOME place. We stayed in room 18, which had it's own little balcony! The bed was way too soft for our liking but still, the room and hotel were great! We didn't need our car at all unless we left the town. We even walked to the beach. Literally the best location! The only thing that was AWFUL was that the sinks in our room kept backing up. Not a […] little either - we are talking full sink that took 10 minutes to drain after just washing your face or brushing your teeth! As long as they get that fixed, i would rate this an A+++. Well... Being on the first floor is a bit noisy - no fault of the hotel. Very nice and clean. Tight parking, so SUVs should stay elsewhere! Very nice desk staff and excellent location. Kitchen area could be re-done at next update. Nice cozy hotel in downtown Carmel. Very easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff was excellent, beds very comfy. The gas fireplace made just the right extra touch. The continental breakfast was delivered toour room in the morning, and while not fancy, it was just right for us. Could have used an extra couple k-cups for the coffee […] machine but on the plus side there was real creamer in the refrigerator. Plus free wifi! Great couples get away. Our 1st room was dark, musty and in the basement. with 6 others open rooms available, the front desk mate, Sam woudl not upgrade to another room. When we asked to know the difference in price he had to call reservations. After hagling with him for over an hour and finally getting in touch with the sales manager, He moved us to a king bed room with a […] larger window and more space.
