I wanted a hotel near Houston Inercontinental airport with shuttle service. On the airport hotel call board this hotel is not represented, making it a big hassle to contact them for pick-up. Hotel has no restaurant and is in an isolated location with no food facility within reasonable walking distance, necessitating my renting a car. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was wonderful,and so was the selection of items for breakfast. Will stay again on next visit to Houston.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had no problems , so yes I would stay again and let anyone knwo about it as well .....

The location of the hotel is difficult to find. This is largely due to the unfavorable city of Houston rather than the hotel. My stay fell at a time where all the televisions were being replaced as with the cable. Finding me a room with an operable television and cable service turned out to be an hour search during my check. At request to have a room […] on either the 2nd or 3rd floor (due to the noiseyness of the 1st floor), I was told it wasn't possible because there were no vacant rooms with television service. However, upon getting into my 1st floor room, and the television didn't work, I was escorted to a room on the 2nd floor where the tv also didn't work; followed by a room on the 3rd floor where the tv worked. I found it amusing that at my request there wasn't a room on the 3rd floor but yet out of deperation a room miraculously came available. Les mer

The hotel vehicles parked to block off some of the enterances, coupled with the "please lock you car" signs, should have clued me in. Behind the treeline, behind this and other hotels in the area, appears to be a less than ideal neighborhood. No restaurants within walking distance, and to be honest, some of the staff couldn't have seemed less interested […] to be there. I wouldn't recommend any of the hotels in this part of town. Les mer

The GPS struggled a little to get me to the exact right place, but once that happened, the location right off the Beltway was nice. There were a couple of creature comforts that were being addressed...a switchover of the cable system that limited the channels, the ice machine being broken. I felt like I was taking a step back in time... The welcome to Houston information book in my room was dated 2006 and the most recent attraction pamphlet was from 2009. Not really close to airport but very far from town. When I asked about public transit around the city I was given limited and inaccurate information by staff. The first room I was given […] stank (literally); the staff quickly changed my room to an entirely acceptable one overlooking a dead hedge and parking lot. I would not recommend. Les mer

Wonderful Stay..No problems what so ever. Really enjoyed our suite!

Friendly and helpful staff. Went out of their way to try to help. The room was comfortable and had a full kitchen.

Traveled to Houston for a Convention end of Feb. Hotel was convenient, nice looking, nice staff and the rooms were nicely appointed. But the A.C. was horrible. I had to set the thermostat on 60 and I was still VERY HOT. Even had to sleep without a blanket. I bet the room was 75 or more despite the setting.

We arrived very late due to many travel delays. We traveled with our 4 kids. Upon arrival the check in staff was pleasant and helpful considering is was 2:30 AM. The room was GREAT! Just what we asked for. Clean. EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE PILLOWS AND MATRESS!!! The free breakfast was extensive, several choices of hot items and standard cold items! Great […] staff! Kept the breakfast are very clean! We stayed only that one night before we cruised out of Galveston. Would stay again and would recommend it. Soft carpeting in the hallway to reduce noise as well. When we made the reservations, no one informed me that there was going to be a pet fee. When we checked in the lady at the counter was busy chit chatting with other people, did not see me and my husband carrying in all our luggage plus a dog dragging us thru the lobby. The next day i received a phone call from the assistant manager asking about our […] dog. We were hit with a $75.00 pet fee the day after check in.. had we known the night when we checked in that there was going to be a fee, we would have just stayed with family. When the manager contacted me on that saturday, she said i could take care of paper work at check out time on Sunday. I received a phone call at 11:30 p.m. Saturday night to come down stairs and fill out the requested paper work. I was furious. I do not recommend this hotel. Not to mention the area around the hotel was not very good. I felt like we could have gotten robbed walking our dog Les mer

I had a wonderful stay during my visit to Houston. The room was clean, comfortable and suited my needs. Breakfast in the morning was great, more than just coffee and doughnuts. The staff did a great job. The Lodge is a relaxing atmosphere that makes dining even more comfortable. The staff was friendly and very approachable. It was great interacting […] with the Front Desk personnel. They never gave the impression that I was a burden. I will definitely use Homewood Suites on my next trip to Houston. Les mer

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. This is a very well-run establishment. Complimentary meals were very good, rooms were comfortable, and very clean. Will stay here again on my next trip.

Our room was clean, nice, & our bed was really comfortable. It had a full kitchenette (sink/stove/fridge/coffee maker..) Though the neighborhood wasn't the best, we had no issues at all, and the staff were all very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised the next morning with the free breakfast-- it was very good and had about every breakfast food you […] can think of there, buffet-style, all delicious! The hotel staff was very competent and the included breakfasts and dinners offered a good variety of well prepared food. Would definitely recommend.
