The room was great!! Opened the door turned on a light and the AC and the room was cooled in a 15 minutes. Bed and towels were clean, free Wi-Fi worked like a charm, and the continental breakfast was good...no watered down coffee or juice like at other places on our trip. "Adequate if you're not too picky."
Overall, decent enough. Certainly not a romantic getaway, and definitely not the best hotel I've stayed at. However, the reservations were correction, and the room was fairly clean and safe enough. Bed lacked for comfort, but it was a place to sleep. Location was a plus.

Very nice motel. Easy to get in and out of. Close to everything we were visiting. Staff was great. We will stay there again in spite of the neighborhood. We attended the locasl dog show and our show dogs were welcome and there were no additional fees! This motel is great!

"Good for the price"
Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Quiet area. It is a little hard to get around the area due to the one way streets around the hotel. Would stay here again.

Excellent value for the price. Not fancy but was clean and comfortable and quiet. Bed very comfortable! Neighborhood area not the best but seemed quiet and relatively safe. Will stay there again next time!

Our sheets were dirty and had black smudges on them, it looked like there was something poured on the wall in the bathroom, and even the drapes looked like dried blood on them. Red roof inn was a great stopover on way to Amarillo. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Room clean, bed really comfy, bathroom good for this level of Accomodation. Price was right around $45 inc tax. We were on the road side and could hear traffic but it didn't interrupt our sleep.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights after staying at another hotel right across the street for the same price.The rooms at Red Roof were bigger with more amenities and a better breakfast. If you are looking for 5 stars then stay at the hilton, but if you want comfort at a reasonable price this hotel is for you.

Booked same night, room was clean and a dream to walk into. 2 comfortable queen size beds, lots of room and the shower was bright and clean and handicapped could use. "A Clean Bargain!"
We were very pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the cleanliness of the room for the very minimal price we paid. Breakfast was pretty plain, but no complaints, as we certainly got over and above our money's worth.

I thought for the money it was a good deal. I also had paid more for other places which weren't as nice. If I was travelling through I would stay there again. The person at the front was very nice and accomodating.

The room was clean the staff was friendly. There was only one electrical outlet in the room, in a very impractical location. The a/c unit worked half the time. "Don't expect much"
Great if you just need a clean place to sleep. Outside looks rough, but inside wasn't so bad. Ice machine on 3rd floor never worked. The one staff member that I dealt with was NOT personable. Hot tub did not work (not even water in it) & this was the main reason I picked this hotel. It is on the highway so highway noise is to be expected.
The room was not very clean. The floor was not vacummed and the comforters were very dirty, I wouldn't even leave them on the beds. The continental breakfast was a joke. They had cereal and a couple pastries. Overall we were not satisfied with the hotel and continued our stay in Wichita Falls some where else.

I asked the front office if they had a room on the first floor as my mother was with us and was physically challanged. He told us there were no rooms on the first floor. I then asked if they had an elevator and he replied yes. When we took the elevator to the 3rd floor we had to walk all the way to the back of the hotel (the elevator was in the front). Then […] when we got to the room, we had asked for double beds as there were 4 of us staying the night. They only had 3 towels and when I asked the front desk for another towel, he said they did not have any. The elevator smelled horribly and the pool was cloudy like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The ice makers didn't work on the 2nd or 3rd floors but the one on the first floor did actually work. I would not go back there, even if they offered me a free night. Les mer

Passing through Wichita Falls,TX and needed a place for overnight stay. Red Roof Inn was a good place for that. Pros: Very reasonable price. Clean. Small but nice pool. Comfortable bed and larger room with a king bed and a desk. No worries about security/safety. Cons: Motel is close to freeway, so some traffic noise in rooms that are on side of motel […] that faces freeway. Breakfast is a little on the skimpy side. Will probably stay there again when passing through Wichita Falls,TX. Les mer

"Red Roof Hotel in Wichita"
Our room was extremely hot when we arrived. We allowed the AC to cool down but after an hour it seemed that it was not functioning properly. We called down to the front desk and they immediately gave us another room right next door, we quickly changed rooms and the AC worked wonderfully. The staff was courteous and efficient.
nice but a little warm, the air conditioner not as cool as I usually like. but it was a very hot day and night. freindly staff.
You need a larger sign. We had trouble locating the hotel from the interstate.

I guess they really can't help that they're located in a place nobody would ever "want" to visit. But the general condition of the facility could do a much better job of making visitors feel safe and welcome. If they were trying to recreate the atmosphere of the Airline Hwy section of Baton Rouge, or the Greenspoint area of Houston they did a real nice […] job! As I exited the (outside) elevator I was shocked by all the spray paint on the doors! Was this a gang marking their territory or a cheap attempt to disguise rust holes and rot??? The door for the room next to mine remained open the entire duration of my stay. It appeared to have been kicked in and the door latch was busted. The door to my room was very loose like it had been kicked on as well and there was a large gap at the bottom where it appeared someone had tried to pry the door. The staff was friendly at check in and check out. But, because of the general condition of the place I skipped the free breakfast. There is a Whataburger next door, though, which had excellent food! The room was surprisingly clean on the inside, the internet connection worked fine, as did the shower, A/C, etc... I was worried that my rental car would be stolen or vandalized based on the appearance of the neighborhood and the facility itself. But, there were no problems. Can't really say there is a better place to stay in Wichita Falls Texas. But, in the coming months as I travel there on business I will continue my search. Les mer

Nice hotel, with good location and check in person was pleasant, but for whatever reason there was no maid service at all and fortunately they had provided extra towels since we came in late and left early each day.
