Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell med god service. Veldig behjelpelige med bestillnger til restauranter. Deilig frokost.

Vi er meget fornøyde, men synes at hotellrommet var for lite. Vanskelig å få varme på rommet når det var vind og litt kaldt ute. Vi kunne også tenkt oss en liten minibar på rommet. Ellers er alt til å anbefale. Har vært på dette hotellet før, og kommer garantert til å reise tilbake dit. I hvertfall hvis det går an å få til noen av mine ønsker.

Londons nye forretningsdistrikt, Canary Wharf, er mest kjent for sin moderne arkitektur, inkludert den 50 etasjer høye obeliskformede skyskraperen One Canada Square. Du kommer dit med Docklands Light Railway, som går på hevede spor og gir god utsikt til en verden av glass og stål. Dette hotellet kunne vært hvor som helst i verden. Booket det pga pris og beliggenhet i forhold til Billingsgate. Servicen er upersonlig. Rommene føles som en liten lugar på Hurtigruta Fyll i baren i resepsjonen (jeg er selv glad i fyll og fest, men ikke i en slik møkkabar med trasi
"Meget fornøyd"
Et veldig godt hotell.Det virker ganske nytt, og hotellrommene var fine. Hotellet ligger rett ved Themsen, med kort vei til EXCEL West og O2. Resepsjonen virket noe travel, men de hadde god tid til både inn og utsjekking. Det var med andre ord alltid folk der. Selve beliggenheten kan være litt ekkel, det er langt øst, og man må regne med å bruke litt […] tid på DLR og Underground for å komme seg til sentrum. Men det er et godt transportsystem, og "EXCel DLR Station" ligger bare 2 minutter unna. Men det er et godt hotell som jeg kommer tilbake til. Les mer

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Sentralt, hvis du bruker undergrund og overgrund. Vi var på de mest kjente stedene i London og på konsert i O2 hallen en kveld. Kjørte ikke taxi. Kom oss fint fram ved å reise kolleektivt.
"Bra hotell til en grei penge"
Til at dette hotellet ligger et lite stykke fra selve sentrum av London, er det ganske å komme seg til og fra. Servicen på hotellet er ganske greit, og personalet va veldig behjelpelig. Litt trøbbel hadde vi første dagen, med tanke på at vi måtte bytte hotell på grunn av elektriske problemer, men dette ordnet seg andre dagen og vi slapp å betale for […] dette. Standarden var også ganske bra, eneste negative jeg kan si om hotellrommet, er at senga var hard som murstein å sove på.. Frokosten var ikke inkludert i vårt opphold, men likevel kostet heller ikke det en formue å betale ekstra for. Frokosten besto av ordentlig engelsk frokost, dvs at det ikke var så mye annet å velge mellom. Men alt i alt, et heelt greit opphold!! Les mer

"Hvordan det er å bo i utkanten av London"
Hotellet er plassert et stykke ut fra sentrum, men med den fantastiske kommunikasjon som det er i denne byen så er ikke det noe problem. 5 min gange fra hotellet ligger Royal VIctoria stasjon som tar det inn til sentrum på ca 25 min. Går du litt lenger til Canning Town, så er du rett på Jubilee LIne til sentrum. Dette er et gruppe hotell med mange grupper, […] men det gjør jo ingenting når det er London en skal se:-) Om du skal reise på hotellferie, så har nok ikke dette standarden som settes om du skal være på hotellet hele tiden, men hvem skal vel det i London?? Rimelig og greit hotell som absolutt kan anbefales til andre som skal til denne byen for å gjøre andre ting enn å sitte på hotellrommet. Les mer
If only we'd known that line of the DLR was shut for the weekend ... Apart from that it was a good stay. God view from the room. Enjoyable meal one evening in restaurant.

Very reasonably priced hotel conveniently located within walking distance of Customs House DLR stop. The reception area seemed a little cramped but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

Good hotel close to amenities. The room was comfortable but modest in proportions! Great area close to river, docks and O2. The breakfast was disappointing - no mushrooms, tomatoes etc were on offer. However for 1 night I would recommend.

Only complaint was the bed, it was rock hard and we both had a really uncomfortable, restless night and woke up with backache.

The hotel was clean and friendly with staff that were polite and nothing was every too much for them. It was close to the O2 and was easily accessible to Central London. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay, the hotel was very accomodating seeing as we arrived at 2AM. The room was clean & tidy. There were extra pillows available and the bed was extremely comfortable with a duvet (not dredded bed sheets). It was very cosy. The bathroom was clean, the shower water was always hot and the towels were soft. The TV did not work but we did […] get a wakeup call as requested (if not 30 minutes late)! Food in the hotel was satisfactory but atleast it was hot and readily available without any long queue's. Don't expect anything special on the food front. The DLR line was less than 2 minutes walk away so access into the city was quick with no nonsense. The only disappointing experience was the fluency of the staff. English was not always their first kanguage and we had to repeat ourselve's a lot which was very frustrating. Checking out was simple and hassle free, we were not pushed out of our rooms by housekeeping and had plenty of time to relax on our last day. Les mer

We booked into the Ibis as we were seeing Olly Murs at the O2... We were booked in speedily, but unfortunately we were told we didn't need to book breakfast for the next morning... BUT WE DID NEED TOO... so the next morning we go to the restaurant and was asked... did you book? No we were told we didn't need too.... uh..well ya did! They said it was […] ok but we need to book in future... we told them to tell their staff to inform residents of this! Parking wasn't too bad, we had to park in a neighbouring hotel, and pay them on returning to the car. was slightly confusing though BASICALLY THIS A CLEAN HOTEL, AND GOOD ENOUGH FOR A SHORT WEEKEND,Great for the Excel, as right next door! more tea and coffee would have been nice.. but overall its was an OK hotel! "Ibis Hotel in Docklands, London"
The bar is advertised to be open 24 hours, but I was refused a soft drink at 10:00 in the morning as they were too busy with breakfast service. I had to go to local cafe for soft drink. When I returned, other clients were served coffee and other soft drinks at the bar!!!
Noise levels were very bad in the hotel, it was very difficult to sleep. This was a combination of thin walls and noisy guests.

Nice hotel with convenient parking out of the congestion zone! Spacious rooms and good location within easy walking distance of the DLR. Will book again

Good Clean Basic but watch out for £9.99 charge for wired internet per day - This makes this hotel more expensive than expected and if you need wi-fi for your phone also you will need to pay someone else for that I used Orange which was £19.99 for 30 days therefore extra costs for internet at this hotel for 3 days were almost £50...... more expensive […] than the room for one night also there is a £7 charge for breakfast. 5 mins walk to royal Victoria dlr station. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, we asked for more tea and coffee when we ran out and they came back with plenty. Surrounding area is clean and looks modern. Great.

The so-called double room was rather small but very clean with a cosy feel. The mattress was firm and extremely comfortable for a very good night's sleep. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with shower gel although I was surprised that toothpaste was not provided. The staff were friendly enough. The view from the only window was of the courtyard […] at the centre of the building shared with Novotel located next door. I did not get to sample the culinary delights as we dined in the O2, just a few stops away (DLR then Jubilee Line from Canning Town). All in all I would definitely recommend. Les mer

not sure what the bloke in front was on, but most people have a reservation sorted before arriving. Finally, a second check-in opened, but still not quick. For a hotel next to an exhibition centre, it should know when peak check-in flows are going to be and man the desk accordingly. 20 minutes queue to check-in is not really right in this day and age. Apart […] from that, clean, tidy, quiet and very good shower. Location, is brilliant for ExCel, I don't recommend strolling too far in the evenings! Last minute rate was cheaper than Travelodge. I use this Hotel every year mainly because the cost of the room is so reasonable. It also has a restaurant which is very pleasant and the staff are all very pleasant.

"Great for Excel - not so good for anything else"
Nice, clean basic hotel room - perfectly adequate for somewhere to sleep. Right next to Excel, but the trip into central London is a bit of a chore, especially when the tube drivers decide to go on strike. Staff helpful, room immaculate although not that big. Walls seemed fairly thin, but hotel was quiet overnight. Had option for combined premium TV/internet […] access that is much better value than many competitors. Les mer

Stayed here for 2 nights with my girlfriend in december, chose the hotel as it was only 3 stops away from the dlr station opposite the hotel to the o2.Getting into central london was only 20-30 minutes. The hotel itself was pretty much what we expected, nice basic hotel with everything you need.The bar and reception staff were very nice and helpful […] and when we came in from a late night to order some food from the 24/7 bar they told us they had nothing left but happily arranged some food from elsewhere for us. "Miles from anywhere"
The hotel itself was mostly fine, and the staff perfectly pleasant. The room was uninspiring and corporate as expected, but clean enough. No toiletries provided however, and staff were confused as to whether or not they should be. The main problem, however, is that this hotel is in the middle of absolutely nowhere. It takes a tube, then a DLR, then […] another DLR, and then a walk through a less than salubrious neighbourhood, before you get there. As the DLR stops running around midnight, this effectively prevents you from staying out beyond about 10pm in central London. It also means you waste a lot of time travelling to and from the hotel. For that reason, I would not recommend people stay here unless you're visiting the exhibition centre which is adjacent to the hotel, and which is clearly designed for. Les mer

Ideal for going to to a gig at the O2, went on Sat to see the Manic Street Preachers, gig finished at 11.oo and we were back in the hotel bar with tube and dlr changes by 11.20!, staff fine quick check in and check out..decent stop off and bed for the night
My experience in the Ibis London docklands wasn't a success because it was supposed to be a convenient place to stay for one night before an early flight from London city airport the next morning, but when I arrived at the hotel late, at 10pm, I noticed that there was no refrigerator in the room which was a problem because I had my next mornings breakfest […] with me. I then took a shower and after that noticed that the toilet didn't work, it didn't flush. I was so tired and didn't want to go all wet to the reception that I decided not to complain. Still next morning when I was leaving and said, when checking out, that I would take a taxi to the airport and asked where I could find the closest taxi, the receptionist said there's no taxi around at that time and didn't even bother to ask if he could call me a cab. I really didn't enjoy this stay at all. Les mer

"Bargain hotel!"
We got this hotel late after being let down by a previous booking. It cost us just £39, an absolute steal. Rooms are very new and pristine, small yes but so what? The Movie/Internet package is great value too. Only there briefly after a night at the O2 so I can't comment on the food but overall fantastic value...the only negative was the step up to […] the en-suite, there was no warning sign + I forgot + tripped hurting my foot! Friendly helpful staff made it a quick and efficient stay. Only downside is that after you have checked out you have to then queue up next door to pay for your parking
"Lovely hotel, good area, not too far out"
It took us about an hour to get to the hotel from London Paddington, which was better than we are expecting. The DLR line stops a five min walk from the hotel, and goes every 5 mins. The hotel itself was great, room was clean, and the reception staff were really helpful. "Ibis excel london docklands"
We booked a 3 bedroom room ( 2 adults and 1 9 yr old child). On arrival there were only 2 beds in the room. A call to reception and they stated they would bring another bed to the room. We went to the restaurant for a meal and a drink and on arrival back in our room there still wasnt another bed. Another call to the reception we were told there were […] no other beds available but one of us could move out into a single room. HOWEVER there were no clean rooms available and so they were going to have to get a cleaner to clean a room. Some time later a call came that it was ready if we could go to reception for the key. The next day we had to pack our things up and leave our luggage in the left luggage room and then on our return move to the other room. I have complained to customer services and am still awaiting their reply! The plus side its ideally placed for the DLR and Excell centre ( although on the date of our stay the DLR wasnt working)..
