This hotel was a pleasant surprise in comparison to the Fess Parker hotel in Santa Barbara. It far exceeded our expectations as we did not enjoy our Santa Barbara experience. However, the rooms are fabulous! And although the dining room was under construction and we couldn't have breakfast in the DR, we were able to enjoy a good breakfast at the cafe […] around the corner after we were given vouchers from the Fess Parker's Wine Country Inn & Spa. I will definitely go back and recommend it to my friends visiting the central coast wineries. Les mer

The Hotel was great, we had a good dinner at Petros and fun in the bar. there are free wine tastings offers at the hotel as well as a full breakfast included. the ONLY down side was that the consierge service was less than stellar. There were issues with follow through ... the email requested to clarify special services was not followed through on completely, […] subsequently there was a screw up for my husbands birthday. this was only one person, everyone else was eager to please and provided prompt and freindly service Les mer

The hotel was recently renovated and the room was beautiful. One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in. The staff was exceptional and the service was outstanding!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the wine region. The hotel and rooms are fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The comfort along with the free breakfast (you pick off the menu) and the 4 free tasting room visits made it even nicer. There are many tasting rooms on the street and a couple of restaurants. All are walking […] distance. We went to Sides Hardware & Shoes for lunch the first day and it was the best meal of our trip! The burgers are outrageous and the cobb salad is great too. We took a cab for an afternoon of tasting and at nights to different dinner locations (Solvang and Santa Ynez) and it wasn't expensive to do so. We will definitely return and stay here again! Sometimes having only One Option is okay... Fess Parker's was basically the only place I could find in the quaint little town of Los Olivos - and it was AWESOME. Very nice staff. Central location to everything in town. Pool are a must for me when I travel and the saline pool was a great change from the harsher chlorine pools you find at some of the […] chain hotels. Robes and a fireplace in the room, plenty of complimentary bottled WATER to stay hydrated which was a huge plus... but the best feature is that upon check in you're handed a card for free wine tasting passes. Not 2 for 1s - FREE. You're save about $50 in tasting in the town tasting rooms and also up on the Foxen Canyon trail. That alone is awesome, especially because I have my favorites in the region and since there is only so much drinking one can do, it got me out of my comfort zone and expanded my horizons. Great getaway from Santa Barbara. Loved the rooms. Quiet entry with only 4 rooms to the building. Great access to private pool.

I have been fortunate enough to stay at a number of luxury properties and my experience at Fess Parker's Wine Country Inn & Spa was one of my all time favorites. The room was amazing, the service attentive, helpful and friendly, and the amenities impressive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Love the hotel, love the town, a perfect weekend getaway. Some people must love those feather beds. I like mine harder... but that's a minor complaint.

We had a great stay at the Fess Parker Inn and Spa in Los Olivos. The Inn is beautiful. The recently redone rooms are very large and comfortable. The food in their restaurant is very good. It was a bonus to have free tasting at 3 wineries in the area along with our reservation.

Recently remodeled rooms were very nice - staff was very pleasant and helpful. In room safe was nice touch. Room (#18) - that I got for my brother and his wife - had a noisy air-conditioner - and the wireless internet service seemed to dropout momentarily at times - but otherwise everything was fine.

New infinity pool and deck area - extremely nice! Bed is great and rooms are refurbished and very clean.

The staff was friendly and full of informational but never overbearing in any way. The setting is romantic, the nights are quiet, and if you're looking for a romantic weekend, it's hard to beat in the area.

We stayed in the epiphany suite. Wow is all I can say. What a gorgeous and indulgent room. Pool area is quiet and quaint. Will definitely stay again. The staff was extremely nice, however some of them had a strange affect. Nice, but strange. Could probably use additional training for the caliber of property this is.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our first room had a strange continous noise (actually coming from outside the room). The hotel moved us to a lovely, quiet suite at no additional charge. The restaurant was very nice and breakfast was included. Parking is free and very convenient. All and all, a great deal!

Facility very nice. Going through renovation (however not informed of this beforehand). Pool and spa closed. Breakfast offered as part of package as well as free wine tasting. Checkout early 11:00. Keep track of time. Clocks in our room were not revised after daylight saving time.

Charming hotel - beautifully appointed, perfectly located , friendly service, excellent advice and generous opportunities for wine tastings. It's a perfect holiday - one iis reluctant to leave and anxious to return.

The receptionist was extremely welcoming, and we were given some vouchers for some complimentary wine-tastings in the area which saved us quite a few dollars. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a stylish, luxurious feel. There are some nice touches - coffee and tea-making facilities in the room, cosy fireplace, Molton Brown goodies, and dvds […] are available to hire for free. An ice bucket's provided - with ice machine in the corridor - as you're bound to buy some wine locally! Make the trip up the Foxen Canyon wine trail to Fess Brown's and Rancho Sisquoc (which has a picnic area). Les mer

Our first visit here, because we wanted to eat at the Los Olivos Cafe and stay near there, was a pleasant surprise. Our room across the street was lovely and large, newly redone. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay included a breakfast that included unusual choices; my husband liked his Greek omelet.

The hotel was lovely and the room cozy. Since we were on our way south in the morning, weren't able to use all of the free wine tastings that came with the room. Did use the one downstairs in the shop and it was great. Purchased several bottles of great wine! Friendly staff and the great rate even included a full breakfast in the lovely greek restaurant […] in the hotel. We will stay here again. Just perfect! Thanks. Les mer

The Fess Parker Los Olivos Hotel is our favorite for many reasons. It's location is great for wine tasting. Not only are there many tasting rooms on the same street, all in walking distance, but there are many wonderful wineries and vineyards nearby. It is a beautiful hotel, nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds. The onsite restaurant, Petros, […] serves high quality, creative dishes, with an outstanding wine list. This is a really nice stay in the heart of wine country. My only hope was that it was actually in a vineyard. However, it was in the middle of Los Olivos which is a great town and the property was a 1st class property. It does take a little cash to stay there, though you get some of it back in wine price reductions, a nice breakfast, and free tastings--though […] the tastings are mostly places that buy Fess Parker grapes. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the free wine tastings at nearby wine tasting rooms was appreciated. However, the AC equipment was noisy and we weren't using AC.

This is an older hotel that has been refurbished into a very upscale bed and breakfast style. The service is impeccable, the in hotel restaurant, Petros, was outstanding. The only negative was we could heard voices coming from the room adjacent to us. This a a great place to stay for wine touring and visiting Solvang and surrounding areas.

Fess Parker Inn met our expectations and more. We extended our stay an addional night. Location is excellent for the Santa Maria wine region, Los Olivos is the cutest town. Rooms are bright, clean and comfy. They could improve on the pillows though. And, we did unplug the fridge because of noise. Breakfast was included in our pricing and all 3 mornings […] the choices we made were great. They even had a coffee station set-up early in the morning allowing us to take coffee to our room. Restaurant service staff were the best. Front desk could smile a little. Overall, the Inn is great and we would definately go back. Les mer
