Hotellet er perfekt for besøkende i Venezia ! Usedvanlig god og personlig service, nydelige og komfortable rom. Beliggenheten kan ikke bli bedre for et opphold i Venezia, og for oss som skulle videre på cruise, er det suverent med kort avstand til båtterminalen. Dette blir vårt hotell neste gang vi besøker Venezia

Enkelt, gret hotell. Veldig sentralt ift buss/togstasjonen. I og med at vi skulle reise tilbake svært tidlig valgte vi et hotell med gåavstand til transport hjem så vi slapp å styre med båttaxi. Fem min å gå fra buss/tog. Venezia er ikke så stort så man går raskt gjennom ila et par dager. Kjøp pizza og nyt den gatelangs. Den smakte himmelsk! Bellini […] ble også en stor favoritt - samt prosecco. Nyt byen, opplevelsene og stemningen og gå deg vill. Da opplever man de sjarmerende trange smugene og broene. For øvrig er det vanskelig å lese kart her - ingenting er logisk! Les mer

Dette hotellet ligger svært sentralt i forhold til Venezia og tog- busstasjonen samt parkeringshus. Svært hyggelig betjening, god service og fornuftige priser. Kan anbefales, min kone og jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. Spander litt ekstra i romprisen å få utsikt mot Canal Grande, det anbefales. Vi var der sommeren 2010.

Do not hesitate to book this hotel when visiting Venice. We had a room with a Grand Canal view. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was lovely.

This was my second stay at this hotel over a period of a few years. The location is convenient because it's right across from the train station, a very short walk to the bus station, and on the Grand Canal, so there's easy access to anywhere in Venice or beyond. The reason why I came back to this hotel was not only the location, but the great service. […] I wouldn't have come back had the service not been so good. This hotel staff is always the same and will do anything for you. We stayed 2 nights. On the third night, my friend was staying one more night and couldn't afford to stay a this hotel a 3rd night. The hotel staff called another hotel down the street and got a better rate for my friend, so they went so far as to give another hotel their busines. Not a lot of hotel staffs would go to these lengths for their customers. Awesome! And finally, the rooms and breakfast are all wonderful as well. As far as I'm concerned, you really can't go wrong with this hotel!! Les mer

The Hotel was clean, comfortable and above its 3 Star rating. Continental breakfast was average the staff was courteous and helpful. Room and the bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Hotel Antiche Figure was in the perfect location -- just across the bridge from the train station/water bus stop AND far enough away from the tourist-trap area right around Piazza San Marco (but with easy access to all of the sight-seeing hot spots). There were many wonderful restaurants and shops right near the hotel, and they seemed to have better […] quality and lower prices than in other areas. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the bathroom was updated and modern. The view from our windows was beyond gorgeous. My favorite "picture" from the entire trip!! As for the service, it was equally impressive. All of the people at the front desk helped us with reservations, directions and suggestions for sightseeing every day we were there. They made us feel like family! I highly recommend this hotel, and we will book with them again whenever we travel to Venice -- hopefully sometime very soon! Les mer

Located right off the Grande Canal across from the train station there couldn’t be a more ideal place for easy transportation. The room I stayed in was lovely with a balcony overlooking the canal, it was a free upgrade because I was only there one night and it was the last room available. We stayed at the Hotel Antiche Figure for 5 days in Feb 2012 based on reviews we had read. The hotel was great and the staff was truly exceptional. They were very proactive in making sure that we enjoyed not only the hotel but Venice too, offering tips and advice daily. Very convenient location. This is a lovely hotel right on the Grand Canal. The staff were extremely helpful and as well as making sure the hotel was meeting our needs provided advice about where to go and what was worth visiting. I was amused that one of the managers told us that there was a hot drinks machine in the breakfast room which they had had to get to satisfy the Americans, […] but the coffee wasn't much good and they could get us a espresso or capuccino from the bar if we wanted proper coffee - we did and it was! We stayed for three nights, in a room overlooking the Grand Canal (a bit noisy during the day, but fine at night), and I'm planning a further trip to Venice now I know which hotel to book! Les mer

We stayed in the low season and were very impressed with the attentiveness and kindness of the staff. The hotel is in a good location, we watched so many other tourists wandering through the streets of venice with the suitcases trying to figure out where their hotels were, we only had to walk a few hundred metres from the bus station and were there. […] It was clearly a popular hotel even in low season, we were upgraded from a basic room to a lovely two room apartment with cooking facilities, (we had a child with us). It's just opposite to the train station San Lucia & 10 mins walk from Plaza Roma Bus station which extremely convenient for travelling between Venice & other parts of Italy. for inner city travelling, just 30mins walk to San Marco Square! With it's relatively low room charge, the services provided there are excellent and professional. City map will […] be provided and detail info will be explained. free wifi & one desk top available on the ground floor made us keep connected with our families. I would say that the "software" (ppl) in this hotel is excellent! of cos' the "hardware" (decoration) cannot be compared with 5 stars chained hotel but as a frequet leisure traveller, i could say that this is really a nice place to stay in during the time in Venice. Great location and very convenient for vaporetta and catching a bus. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nice and very clean. On the down side I thought the rooms were quite small and as we paid for an upgrade to a room overlooking the canal I expected it to also be a bigger room than the standard deluxe...not so. The only difference […] was the colour of the furnishings ......the price of the upgrade was purely for the canal view. It was also very noisy!! All in all we found it good value for money but have stayed in better ones in Venice for less....certainly wouldnt bother with paying for the canal view again. Les mer

Close to train nice staff nice small hotel. I have stayed many times. I think that is the real test

We stayed 3 nights in a suite room which is located 100 metres away from the hotel. We had a beautiful room (no view of river and two floor walkup) and the only not perfect thing was we found the bed hard. Fantastic shower and fridge in room. The location is so convenient for train travel and everything is 30 minutes walk away. Laundry is 50 metres […] from hotel. I felt very safe walking the area at night alone. This hotel staff went above and beyond for us. We stayed in hotels throughout Italy on a 2.5 week journey. The staff here was by far the most friendly and helpful! Nice rooms and quiet considering it's location on the Grand Canal. Highly recommend!

We chose Hotel Antiche Figure because of its reviews on trip advisor and it's location. It proved to be everything we wanted - easy to find, only a 5 minute walk from Piazza Roma, so not far to carry luggage. The hotel staff were very helpful providing a good map and guidance on where and what to visit, the room was excellent, clean, comfy and warm […] - so all in all it is a really good place to stay! We took the grand canal view room with King size bed, the bed is so comfortable and the room was well furnished, look elegant and comfortable. The staffs also very helpful with the lugguages and provided recommendations for travelling in Venice such as Gondola Service, visit to Murano etc.,

This hotel really is a gem. It's just lovely. My husband and I stayed for two nights in November and Antonio and the team made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Venice. It is literally across the canal from Santa Lucia station - and as Venice is small you can walk everywhere so easily from here, it's […] just wonderful, I wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed in Venice for two days, but liked this hotel a lot. It wasn't the closest to San Marco square, but it's Venice, a 10-15 minute walk and your there. The service was great and the breakfast buffet was awesome, compared to any other Italian breakfast. Next time we go we will be staying there again.

If you are carrying heavy luggage or if you plan to make side trips, to Padua for example, the hotel's location is ideal. Right across the Grand Canal from the train station. It's a pretty little hotel with an unusually sharp and accommodating front desk. Good breakfast service, good cleaning staff.

This is a great hotel in Venice - so convenient to the cruise ship port and also the train station. The staff go out of their way to be helpful.

This was a very nice, clean, convenient hotel with wonderful staff. Anka made great recommendations for food and was mega-helpful. No complaints!

With a vaporetto card and a good pair of walking shoes, this hotel was in a terrific location for us -- easy to get to St. Marks's, the major churches, museums and Rialto. It is also a 5 minute walkto both Pizzale Roma and the train station (especially helpful for those of us with big bags). The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. It is near both the RR Terminal, the Piazza Roma which is the bus and taxi hub and across the grand canal from a valporetto stop. it is directly next to chided picolo San Simeon and amidst a pleasant neighborhood not jammed with tourists

A very nice little hotel in a most convenient location on the grand canal opposite the railway station. Staff were very helpful and hotel was clean and tidy, decorated in a subtle venician style. Room was good with a clean ensuite. Having read previous reviews of this hotel it seemd to be a suitable choice for our four day stay. The reality was......just excellent. From walking out of the station to see it directly across the Grand Canal we felt we had made the right choice and once inside the experience just got better. The staff were superb, being both friendly and helpful at […] all times. Breakfast was a treat, especially when taken outside at the canalside. Accommodation was of a good three star standard, but the staff were five star. We will be returning to Venice and we will definately be returning to this hotel. To all the staff....a big thank you!!! To accommodate our one-night stay in Venice after arrival by train, the Hotel Antiche Figure was perfect -- right across the Canal from the train station. The individual who checked us in was extremely helpful. Without even an inquiry on our part, he brought out a map of Venice, showed us the highlights and how to reach same. The room was perfect -- […] a corner room right on the Grand Canal -- and decorated exactly as one of the rooms viewed on the Internet with a simply beautiful bath. The included breakfast was delicious and it was also most enjoyable dining outdoors.. I would most definitely recommend the Hotel Antiche Figure. Les mer

Where to start...The staff are wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. We arrived late and hungry, and the concierge not only told us of a nice place near by, but called them to make sure they stayed open for us. We were also presented with a map and directions to all the typical sights on arrival. The room (316) was a nice size, double bed (comfortable […] enough) with two nightstands, desk with chair, two opening windows (no view) and a full marble bathroom. It was nicely decorated in a lovely red brocade, it was so pretty I wanted to take a picture. It is located directly across from the train station and the bus terminal is visible from out front. It's easy to find from anywhere, just follow the signs to the train station. There is not a restaurant on site, but the continental breakfast is quite nice. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, but we were only there to sleep after a full day of walking. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip and highly recommend it to others. My wife and I spent two nights here for the last leg of our 18 days in Italy honeymoon. What a spectacular stay it was. Antonio and his fellow staff were very accommodating and gracious to us while we were there. They pointed out restaurants and sights to us and were always very pleasant. The hotel is right across the bridge from the train station, […] making it very convenient. There are quite a few steps up the bridge however, so if you have large luggage, be prepared for a haul. FYI: The beds are ultra firm in Italy (everywhere, not just at this hotel) so if like us, you're used to a plush bed it will take some time to get use to it. The room was very clean and well-kept although the shower head could've used a dunk in CLR or a cleanser - it kind of shot everywhere! LOL! A small quibble for what was a most memorable stay. PS. Take a gondola ride at night as opposed to the day. Far less busy and much more romantic. We also saw the Mussica il Piazza (or something like that) where we sat in a palace and watched an intimate opera with two singers and a 3 piece string section. It was magical. 50 Euro each and money well spent I say. You cant visit Venice without a gondola ride and an opera. Thanks again to all the staff at Antiche Figure. Hotel was very convient for our arrival by train. We had a nice room facing the main cannel. Breakfast was typical for this quality of hotel. Good solid accomodations for the price

It was my first time in Venice and the hotel is ideally located on the Grand Canal. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were always willing to assist. My wife thought Antonio was wonderful.

From the overwhelming friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the quality, size, and comfort of the room, this place was the best! They easily accommodated our family of 4, and upgraded the beds for our older (adult) children without us having to ask. The customer service was impeccable as the staff went over and above to assist us with every detail […] of our stay. We loved the restaurant recommendations and the detailed map and recommendations for the area sights. There was a laundrymat located conveniently around the corner which was critical since we had packed light for our 2-week vacation. The location was ideal since it was across the Grand Canal of the train station and only 2 small bridges and 3 minutes from the Piazza Roma to catch the super convenient and money-saving People Mover to the cruise ship as well as the bus to the Marco Polo airport. We would highly recommend this hotel. In fact, we had previously booked a night at the hotel next door (Hotel Grand Canal) as part of the after-cruise package, but would have preferred to return to the Hotel Artiche Figure instead because the overall quality of the rooms and the overwhelming friendliness and support of the staff of this wonderful hotel were far superior to all other hotels we visited in Italy. If you are staying in Venice either pre or post cruise this is ideal. Quick access from airport by local bus to bus station. Five mins walk to hotel from bus station. Five minute walk to People Mover which drops you off at the ship.

We travelled from Rome to Florence, Pisa and finally Venice for our honeymoon and this hotel was by far the friendliest we staying in during our trip. The staff are lovely and make your stay easy and comfortable. It was great coming out of the train station and seeing the hotel right opposite - especially with bags that you only have to carry over […] one bridge to get there. It's very handy for getting the water buses as they go from outside the station. Getting on the water buses at the start of the 'line' was an advantage as they became much busier as they go down towards Rialto etc. It's in a great area for wandering around gift shops and getting a cake in the evening. The breakfasts are nice too. My parents had staying in the sister hotel up the canal which is how we found this one. We would definitely recommend to others. Les mer
