Fint hotell rett ved jernbanestasjonen/metro med enkel ankomst/avgang til og fra flyplass. Har en fenomenal restaurant i toppetasjen med utsikt over hele Barcelona! Anbefales!

Hotellet var meget fint. Nydelig utsikt fra frokostsalen/restauranten hvor det forøvrig var meget god mat. Ligger et lite stykke unna stranda og bykjernen, men det ligger en metro rett over gata som enkelt tar deg til begge stedene.

Hotellet ligger greit til med kort gange til sentrum, serviceinnstilte ansatte og en liten SPA avdeling. Tilgang til basseng. Alt i alt godt fornøyd.

Bran hotell med god standard. Flott bad, litt harde senger, men det er relativt normalt i denne delen av Europa. Beliggenhet et stykke utenfor sentrum, men gode kommunikasjonsmuligheter med Metro stasjon like ved.

Hotellet ligger vegg i vegg med Barcelona Sants stasjon og det koster ikke mye for å ta metroen til "sentrum" Flotte, store rom som gir herlig utsikt over byen. Restauranten i toppetasjen er verdt et besøk på kveldstid men frokosten er litt i det dyreste laget, da du finner flotte restauranter i nærheten som gir like god eller bedre frokost! De ansatte […] står på for å gi deg god service, men sørg for å få riktig informasjon ved ankomst! Da vi sjekket ut fikk vi helt annen informasjon enn da vi kom, noe som resulterte i en overaskende høyere pris! Andre gang jeg besøker dette hotellet, og kommer garantert tilbake ved neste tur! Veldig fornøyd med hotellet som i tillegg til en bra beliggenhet, 5 min med Metro fra sentrum, hadde veldig hyggelig service samt fornuftige priser.

Hotellet hadde meget god standard og hyggelig betjening. Nydelig frokost i 23 etg., hvor vi kunne nyde utsikten over hele Barcelona. Middag i restauranten kan også anbefales. Beliggenheten rett ved jernbanestasjon og metro var et perfekt utgangspunkt for turer ut av byen og det var raskt å komme inn til sentrum. Hotellet ligger rett ved en stor togstasjon som gir rask og enkel vei til flyplassen. Det er et metrostopp rett ved. Det er fint, for det skjer lite rett ved hotellet, og avstand til sentrum er ikke gangbar. Taxi til Rambla koster ca 8-9 €. Hotellet var bra og fungerte i alle ledd. Hotellet ligger perfekt til. Tog fra/til flyplassen og andre steder i byen/landet. Metro og sightseng busser fra samme sted.

Vi hadde 5 døgn på dette hotellet som ligger sentralt for alle som ønsker å utforske Catalonia siden det er 100 meter fra hovedtogstasjonen, men også for de som ønsker å begrense sin utforskning til selve byen Barcelona er dette et godt valg siden du samme plass også finner en metrostasjon som raskt tar deg dit du ønsker. Vi fikk rom i 18 etasje i […] dette hotellet. Et gedigent hotellrom og panaramautsikt over byen. Vi vil velge dette hotellet igjen. Dette hotellet har en bortimot perfekt beliggenhet. Det ligger rett på andre siden av veien for jernbane, buss og metro stasjon. Fra flyplassen går det tog direkte til denne stasjonen og man når stort sett hele byen med metro iløpet av bare noen få minutter. Kjøp dagspass, som gir ubegrenset bruk av metro de dagene man har kjøpt for. Ønsker man å leie […] bil, så er det bilutleie vegg i vegg med hotellet. Får man rom høyt oppe, så hører man ingenting av trafikken utenfor og man får en fantastisk utsikt over hele Barcelona. Styr unna frokosten. Den er alt for dyr. Man får frokost på de fleste cafè'er for halve prisen. Vi benyttet oss ikke av Spa fasilitetene, men jeg var nede å sjekket disse og synes vel ikke de så alverdens ut. Internet tilgang kostet ekstra, men det er ganske normalt nedenfor. Hotellet kan anbefales og jeg kommer til å booke meg inn her igjen neste gang vi drar til Barcelona. Les mer

Very clean and professional hotel. Big and well equiped rooms, but the decor is not the latest. The breakfast at the top restaurant is one of the best I have had, but not especially cheap. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. Really good value for money.

Veldig stilig hotell, , fin utsikt hvis man får rom høyt oppe, rett ved t-bane linje, kanskje ikke i det peneste område av barcelona. Får mye for pengene, men noen tjenester må man betale ekstra for som internett, og bruk av basseng. Rimelig priser på minibar og romservice. Ekstremt hyggelig betjening.

Topp hotel, men renholdet på rommet kunne vært bedre.. Å resturangen på toppen av hotelet er av d fine slaget, det vil si at vi spiste middag dær bare 1dag pga. små posjoner.. Bra beligenhet 10min utenom sentrum, 10min med taxi

Veldig bra beliggenhet både for tog- og metro stasjoner. Veldig fint service, god standard, fint spa, "overlooking" i topp etasjen. Fint utsikt mens man spiser. Anbefales til alle. FInt hotell.

The friendliness and the service minded staff made our stay very comfortable and the fact that the hotel is located slightly outside the tourist area is nothing but a big plus. I was at first a bit scared that the hotel would be too much outside, but already the first night we realized that we had made the right choice. Our room was very quiet, which […] is very rare in Barcelona. It takes hardly 30 minutes to walk to the main area of Las Ramblas and the metro/station is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. We really appreciated the small gestures made by the staff to make our stay comfortable. In fact, that is what we appreciated the most. I am trying to come up with something negative to write. I mean, that is after all how the hotel can improve, but I am not able to come up with everything. We will surely come back to Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya again! Les mer

We stayed at the grand torre in mid march 2012. It is very convenient as the hotel is literally 50 metres from the Sants train station (and Sants estacio metro stop). All the trains to Barcelona airport stop at Sants so it is very accessible for that. It's about 20 minutes to the airport. The airport train station is adjoining terminal 2 in Barcelona […] airport (5 min walk from departures). The hotel is modern and clean. There is a nice small spa which is 6 euro to visit and we found good. The swimming pool is very small maybe 8 - 10 metres. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk to the city centre but only a few mins on the metro. The area is residential but there is a large supermarket right next door which is very handy. The font magica is about 10 mins walk from the hotel and well worth a visit for the display. Also I would recommend going to the nearby Arena Barcelona which is a very modern shopping centre with cafes and restaurants and a cinema. There is some nice restaurants on the top floor of the arena particularly Mussol which is well worth a visit. Overall good hotel and very good value rate. Les mer

Arrived on an early flight from Dublin, walked out of Barcelona Sants statiion and there is the hotel, pretty much over looking the station. Arrived at reception at about 1030 with the intention of merely dropping off our bags and moochin around town till check-in time (1400) but were allowed up to our room straight away. Double sinks in room, bath […] and separate wet room shower, super comfy 6 foot wide bed. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in bar te wedding suite in Harvey's Point, Donegal! Les mer

Frinedly staff and good service. Location nearby the central station "Sants" is perfect for train, metro and open bus tour. We also enjoyed of the Spa. Real nice is the restaurant on the top floor; You have a great view and the foor is excellent, really good ! Enjoy your stay.

This is a modern business hotel right in front of the Sants train station in Barcelona. The room was great, the staff helpful. The only negative is its a 10 minute walk to restaurants beisides those at the train station.

This is a high rise hotel, reminiscent of a Marriott or Crowne Plaza in the US. Just as clean, spacious, and nice. The restaurant on the top floor has a beautiful view, especially at night. It's right across from the main train station and bus depot. Not very close to old town and the waterfront though.

Hotel and staff were amazing! They were super-friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Our luggage was delayed and the front desk and business center were diligent in following up with airline on a regular basis. The rooms were clean and view was nice. The view from the top floor restaurant was amazing! The breakfast was bountiful... worth the discounted […] price per person for pre-booked vs. standard price on the day of. Rooms were comfortable and clean. PROS: Location was close to Metro. Grocery store around the corner in the 'basement" of adjacent building, located near park area, Staff was amazing and all spoke English, Rooms were nice, Bathroom was nice (strong water pressure), Nice breakfast CONS: Long lines to check-in and check-out. We stayed there for two nights. There was a party with loud music at the hotel next door. The party and music was really loud and it did not end until after 1:30AM. There was nothing anyone can do. Literally across the street from Sants rail station and the Barcelona metro, Torre Catalunya is a great choice when visiting this city. Clean, modern bright rooms and spaces. Pass on the breakfast buffet, better cheaper alternatives in the area.

I wanted a larger hotel in a convenient location. I studied my options on hotels.com and other sites, and I am really glad I picked this hotel. The rate was reasonable. The staff was fluent in English, and was very responsive to anything we needed, or asked about. The room was a good size, and bathroom was great, ex. it was hard to get in and out of […] the shower (tub). The plaza across the street is not very pretty, however, we had a nice view from the 7th floor. Even from the 7th floor, you could see mountains in the distance. The upper floors had even better views! The supermarket next door was so convenient. The main train station of Barcelona is at your doorstep. You are not in the most heavily touristed section of the city by the Rambla, but it is an easy subway ride away. The beds are hard, but this seems to be common in Europe. You can walk to Plaza Espanya, and the magic fountain show. In short, i would have no trouble recommending this place, and would love to return to the wonderful city of Barcelona, and stay at Torre Catalunya again. Les mer

Best Location & Good service

Great Hotel. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had a corner room on the eleventh floor with great views. The location was easy to access most of the main attractions. Overall, this is a great place to stay when visiting Barcelona. It is located within walking distance of everything we needed; shopping, parks, restaurants, train station, taxi stops and the subway. For 6 euros the subway offers 10 stops to anywhere in the city. This came in real handy for us. For 3 euros the train will take you to the airport versus […] 40 euros by taxi. The hotel gave us a great view of the city 16 stories up. The room was clean, service was good and the shower was big and roomy. I will defiantly stay here next time I come to Barcelona. The negatives are that they are little more expensive than other hotels nearby and closet space is limited. The hotel is built for business trips rather than a vacation resort. Les mer

This is a great hotel. Its not in paseo de la gracia; but you aren't dolling out tons of money either. It's still in a great neighborhood near Plaza Espana and right next to a major train station as well as regular bus service and sightseeing bus service very close to the hotel. So you don't have to go far to be connected to transportation. It's a great […] value. It has large rooms compared to the standard European size room. The hotels is clean and up to date and modern. To top it off the staff is extremely friendly and extremely accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure you are really happy. What a great view from the top of the hotel of all Barcelona. The breakfast was extra but worth it. Parking was confusing, because my husband did not realize that you had to drive on the side walk to get to the parking lot which was extra as well, but expected. The rooms were very nice with a very nice view. My husband almost got robbed in front waiting […] in the car for me to check into the hotel, but not to listen to the scam. A guy tapped on the rear of his car and told him to get out of his car that there was a problem, but my husband said to wait until I returned to talk spanish to him, but the guy left. We felt safe at this hotel and took the subway from the front of the hotel to go to the center each day. My daughters and I also enjoyed the spa services hot pools for 6 euros each. It was relaxing. Stayed here 2 nights mainly because of ease for train travel to and from the airport. I was thrilled to walk out of the train station and see the hotel right there, yet I didn't hear any train noise in our room. Staff was great, I asked and they upgraded our reservation to an upper superior room at no extra charge. The view was great over the city. […] Getting to the main tourist area of Las Ramblas was only 5-10 mins by train. Rooms were clean, bathroom was the largest i'd ever had the pleasure of having on vacation. Room was nice and cool which can sometimes be an issue with energy saving AC in european countries. I'm also used to north american standards for hotels, and this was suited to a more american hotel in terms of size, amenities, etc. Beds were super comfy and had great sleeps. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, I will definetly stay here again when I am in Barcelona!! Les mer

Stayed at Torre Catalunya for 5 nights and I had zero complaints. I had an issue with the pillows being too big, so one of the staff members immediately brought comfortable pillows to my room.The staff spoke english and helped us out a lot. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge. Hotel is located across from the Barcelona Sants train station that […] took us to Stiges beach and to the old city of Girona. Metro was 1 block away. Only 5 stops away from Las Ramblas which is heavily crowded. Torre Catalunya was a perfect quiet location. Les mer

The room was fine but the location and the fact the hotel wanted to charge for everything like the gym and pool left us disappointed, The £16 for breakfast was a joke when the superb food in the city was much cheaper.

The staff was so helpful and the room was comfortable and the 23 floor dining was a great view of the city.

We arrived at the main train station in Barcelona and after a long flight, was so happy to see that the hotel was right outside of the building. Our flight arived pretty late thanks to the incompetence of Luftthansa Airlines, but the staff at the hotel greeted us with a smile and welcomed us graciously to the hotel. Our check in was fast and they provided […] us with a great deal of information throughout our stay. Their recommendations for shows and places to eat were wonderful. We used the Hop-On-Hop-Off buses to get around the city and see the main sites and used the Metro and trains for everything else. All three bus, trin and Metro were right at the Sants Barcelona station right outside of the hotel, so it is a wonderful place to stay if you are a tourist. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed with great views of the city and a nice buffet in the morning on the top floor which had even better views. If I return to Barcelona, this would be the hotel for me! Les mer

The proximity to the Sants train station and the very helpful staff are two reasons why we would recommend this hotel. It was also extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable with great views of the city.

It is important to check whether the price includes breakfast. Since it was clear my breakfast included in price when I got to the hotel it was not so and wanted to charge us. Price also using the Internet is a high price rather than logical.

It's hard to find a Hotel in Spain with a gym. The rooms are big and comfortable. They are located next to the metro, bus, and train stations. I was there when there were protest in Plaza Catalunya and when the Barcelona team won the Champions league. You don't want to be downtown during those events. Barcelona is one of the best cities on Earth.
