Hodelpa Centro Plaza - Santiago

The hotel is very clean in the heart of the city of Santiago the hotel is nice with a great view of the monument. And an even a better view at breakfast on the 6 floor.i managed to see the sunrise while having breakfast it was very nice the only down side it is very noisy at night but I stayed here twice so I can not complain but isn't every city noisy […] . The Hotel is very well maintained and clean. Dining and breakfast are disgusting.

Nice Hotel downtown... Friendly staff, decent food, and no hassel having guest in your room.

I would come back to this hotel without any doubt. Friendly, clean, and homy.

Although I have stayed in several Hodelpa properties, as well as a number of resorts in various cities throughout the Dominican Republic, I can say without hesitation that this is among the best hotels in Santiago, and perhaps the entire country.

The hotel is clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but very clean. The restaurant offered pretty good food and drinks (you gotta have Brugal Anejo while there). The gym was not impressive, but useful for a basic workout. The airport shuttle was very convenient, but be sure to call in advance for an airport pickup. […] The hotel is conveniently located in the center of downtown and about 20 minutes from the airport (STI)...but that comes with a few drawbacks: loud car horns from taxis, 10 year old shoe shine boys, and plenty of vendors selling "junk". Would I stay there again? Maybe, but I will check my other options first and request a club level suite instead of a regular room if I do stay there again (the suites are the ones posted in the pics). Les mer

I stayed here once before and was happy to return but this time my room was outdated and the windows didn't close completely nor did they lock. The wind rattled the windows all night and the cold air from the A/C was always escaping.

I am a travelling man for a living. I have been to the DR 18 times during the last 21 months. I have to say this was one of the most expensive hotels that I have stayed in the DR, or the US for that matter. I picked this hotel due to closeness to airport.. It is not that close! I would easily rate this hotel in the BOTTOM 3 of the last 300 different […] hotels I have stayed at during the last 2 years.. One reason only for the terrible rating.. It was completely impossible to sleep a minute due to all the noise. I reserved the best room they offered.. My advice is to avoid at all cost .. Take the 1 hour trip to an all inclusive in Puerto Plata, it is half the price, and much nicer area, plus you can sleep! Isn't that the main reason to stay at a hotel? Les mer

Very Convinient in the heart of Santiago . A bit small but u have free and secured parking lot with a free car wash . Wi Fi is also free The A/C is a problem because the cold air flows directly on you . I got sick from it . BREAKFAST is very good

FIRST, THE GOOD. ALL PROBLEMS WERE RESOLVED WITHOUT QUESTION IN ABOUT THREE HOURS FINALLY. BUT THE FOOD SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL AS WELL AS THE PERSONNEL! NOW, THE BAD. WE HAD THREE PROBLEMS AS SOON AS WE ENTERED OUR ROOM. THE A/C DID NOT WORK. THE TOILET STOPPED UP AND OVERFLOWED. THE DOOR TO THE ROOM WOULD NOT LOCK. When I first drove out to the hotel I was a bit upset because it was far away from the convention center, but it did not take long to change my mind. this hotel is a little oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous and the best feature by far of the hotel. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. very quiet - clean and a nice breakfast with a view very good for business or for leisure

We stayed here multiple times: love the rooms, helpful & professional staff, excellent food (inc. free breakfast!) in NICE restaurant w. view, location for other restaurants and transport. However, we always have had street noise & casino noise from the one across the st. and people all night just below talking LOUDLY. But this time our windows didn't […] latch and prior complaints on st. noise brought no help, so we didn't sleep till around 5 a.m. I doubt that we'll be back, sadly. Les mer

This hotel is located in the comercial center of Santiago very convenience easy access and overall the kindnes of the personal was extremely great. Excellent Thanks

Hotel was clean, but Very, Very, Very loud. The noise from the street was Very loud in the room...honking, music, yelling etc. It sounded as if all the windows were open. Service was good, but we expected a nicer hotel for the money. Centro Plaza might be nice considering the neighborhood.
