Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Norsk familie på fire som bodde her i julen. Genial beliggenhet ved restauranter og butikker rett utenfor døren. Vi fikk ett stort og fint hjørnerom med mye lys. To store dobbel senger. Nyoppusset.

"a very nice place to stay for the money"
I was just having a quick visit with my son. Since he started college in San Barabara my husband and I have gone down several times. Since it was just me this time, I wanted a cheaper hotel. This one was just a few miles down the freeway and really easy to get to. There is no big lobby, no warm cookies but a very nice young woman checked me in. My room […] was on the third floor. Coming off the elevator the hallway smelled of chinese food. But my room did not. It was a very nice room. Small but very clean. It was quiet and I could leave the windows open. Bed was good, shower too. Next time my husband and I go down, we will save money and stay here again. Les mer
"$Not worth it"
to be honest, the hotel was good, but not clean, and the bed was not comfortable, specifically the sofa was not comfortable at all. the reason they can raise that price because they have kitchen. Well, for me the kitchen was useless, for a traveler whos going to cook at hotel?! maybe for someone whom will going to stay there for a whole, might be useful. […] Small bathroom. 15 mis drive to downtown of Santa Barbara. Good $ to Stay at Weekends, because i was stayed at Sat. only if you wanna live with good quality, thats wrong place to go!!! Les mer

The hotel was being remodeled during our stay and someone had been smoking in the elevator even though signs were posted for no smoking. Other than that the stay was enjoyable and the restaurant they recommended was great.

I booked this hotel literally last second before I jumped in the car and drove up to Santa Barbara for the weekend. Was very pleased with how nice the hotel was at a very affordable price, compared to the other hotels in the area. It's a little far from downtown Santa Barbara where we were mainly hanging out, therefore having to pay fairly high priced […] cab fees.... but the hotel itself was great and I would recommend it to everyone ! Carpets in lobby, hallways and rooms had gross, large stains and the hallways smelled of stale cigarettes.

Booked for two rooms, one room smelled heavily with smoke despite the non smoking request and signs. You'd think the housekeeping people would spray febreeze to rid of smell unless it was the cleaning person who was smoking in the room. otherwise, decent rooms and size. kitchenette with full fridge was very handy. other family members booked several […] rooms too. king size room with sofa was very spacious and roomy. location across the street from in n out burger a plus and ihop was very close...walking distance. freeway on and off ramps very easily accessible as well as a gas station. "Not so hot!!!"
Not a great place to stay. They allow dogs in the rooms and property, found I big dog bone in our room behind the one (1) chail in the room. Very small TV in the room and the cable is terrible. not to mention maid service is only once a week......would rather have stayed at motel 6.

When we arrived at the hotel, they were surprised we had a pet, and had to change our room. Pet friendly rooms are located on the smokers' floor, which is not pleasant for non-smokers. The room arrangement was nice, the furniture quite worn. It was a long walk to the dog walking area.

TV didn't work at all, sheets dirty, bed spread stained with god knows what. More of an apartment building than a hotel.
"Clean and Quiet"
We were passing through Santa Barbara and needed an affordable, good nights sleep. The hotel has easy access to the 101 Freeway. Gas and InNOut are across the street, grocery store and coffee shop a few lights down. Quiet area. Pillows were not comfy, bed was comfy though. Clean room. I would stay again.

little to no service, my room was dated but clean, fully equipped kitchen, free parking, the rate paid was high for this class of hotel but in Santa Barbara in the summer it compared ok with the alternatives

The hotel smelled bad, the corriders looked like a crack house and the rooms were not clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. I did not even stay the night.
"Unfortunate Mistake"
Staying at the Extended Stay America in Santa Barbara was a mistake. I was under the impression that the hotel would be clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was none of those things. When we first arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and issued us our keys to the room. When we got to our room we found that our keys didn't […] work. That was just the beginning of our ordeal. When we got into our room, we opened the refrigerator to find an open and partially-eaten container of yogurt, along with a container of half-eaten fruit. I was going to just throw it away, but I found other yogurt containers in the trash can as well. Very gross and very frustrating. After the helpful front desk clerk rushed up to handle the issue I decided I wanted to take a shower before going out to dinner. I jumped in the shower and realized there was no soap in the shower. I asked my girlfriend to look around the room to find the soap and that's when we realized that there was no soap in our room. This was beginning to seem like a series of unfortunate circumstances, but I was eager to have a good time, so we decided to go to dinner and deal with the lack of soap after. After returning from dinner we were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. I realized we'd need soap in the morning so I had my girlfriend call down and ask them to send some up along with an extra pillow. The front desk attendant that had helped us earlier went home and was replaced by a less-than-helpful and unfriendly attendant. We went down together to get the pillow and soap and saw the attendant was "busy" playing with her cell phone which answers the question as to why she was too busy to help us. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing we've ever slept on. It felt like we were lying on a piece of plywood. The bed was terrible, but that wasn't the worst part. The next morning, at about 8:00 a.m., crews began working on the roof of the hotel and what little sleep we did get was cut short by th Les mer

Corridors had very strong tobacco smoke orders. Could hear noise from other guests making it difficult to sleep. Overall poor quality of property. Did not think it was a good value.

This is an ok location just off the 101 but the bed in the room was enough to have me downing Aleve the next morning I was so sore. The staff here is great and very accomodating but they couldn't overcome the run down and well used nature of (at least) the room we stayed in.
"Basic motel room"
I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience and comfort of this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean with all the amenities I needed including a coffee maker and WIFI internet service. No pool available. Otherwise it was good value for the basic needs.

"Great value, but nothing special"
The facility and room show signs of age and wear. The room was clean but needed a good dusting. Double bed was reasonably comfortable. No maid service for stays shorter than 7 days, but towel exchange is possible. All in all, we just needed a place to leave our stuff and sleep so it wasn't bad. "Utilitarian" is a good description.
I was so upset I thought there would be a pool at the hotel and my sheets would be changed each day. Nothing was done No cleaning I had to change my own sheets take the trash out. I could not believe it. I have never stayed at a hotel for Three nights and had no service what so ever I tried to get my money back and I was unable. "Rattle of the pipes!"
Would not recommend this place to an irritating mother-in-law. Whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. We got the room below a family of 800 lb gorillas. The good news is that apparently gorillas turn in for the night early. The bad news is, they have very small bladders.

"Good for the price"
Pretty much like every Extended Stay I've seen. This location is quiet and would have been restful except for the noisy refrigerator cycling on and off all night. We had a room in the back with a lovely view of the Santa Barbara mountains. The location is ideal for our purposes. The room was reasonably clean, although the toilet was in need of a thorough […] cleaning. All in all, it was pretty much what we expected for the price. Les mer
"Great place to stay and worth the money"
We enjoyed the quietness of the place and being Xmas weekend there were not too many people. Breakfast was great. I like that the shower is small because it worked as a steamer for me as well. Fantastic. Would stay there again. I only suggest they put darker blinds so one does not wake up with the sunlight in their face especially those that like to […] sleep in. "Good location, bad service"
This hotel is located at a good location - just off 101 and is not too noisy. The staff at the check-in counter were friendly and welcoming, however the policy of no room service if you are staying for less than one week is strange and very inconvenient. The Wi-Fi was advertised as complimentary, but at check-in we were told it'd cost 5 dollars for […] the entire stay. Not a whole lot, but these small things do matter. Les mer
"I would give this hotel a 4 - satisfied"
The hotel location was good, right off the freeway, easy off and on to go either direction for travel. Service was good, really all went well. Our only problem was the mattress was a little to firm and noisy. I liked the small kitchen for longer stays. Thank you
