This hotel is nice. Great pool area, but in summertime the biggest pool is a littlebit too hot, not cooling at all. Overall a good stay, but borring area and not som much to do. You have to drive to restaurants and as Norwegian we like to have the possibility to walk and not drive everywhere. I think the price for the stay was expensive according to the hotel standard. Its ok, but not anything exstra. Bad that breakfast was not included.

"Just OK"
I was expecting more renovations and amenities for the price. The $15/night resort fee was totally unexpected.

"Great place. Relaxed environment. Nice staff."
We only stayed one night on our way to Key West, but really liked the place. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. A very relaxing environment. Also very convenient to have a kitchenette in the room!
"When can I go back?"
Having just returned from a week-long stay, Islamorada and the Pines & Palms Resort are my favorite vacation destination, bar none. It's just a wonderful place to stay. Not luxurious, exactly, but well-appointed, clean, charming, inviting, friendly, beautiful, peaceful, and pleasant beyond belief.

Great outlook over the water and comfortable rooms, although bathroom was quite compact. Full, well -equipped kitchen, so putting together snacks and meals easy. "Very Clean"
Quaint Keys hotel. Not much to do there but that's the point really. Front desk Lisa was terrific! Nothing for small children to do and they are not allowed in pool if they are not potty trained. No day visitors allowed either. Great for a couple alone to relax there. Close to everything in Islamorada and the Middle Keys is a great area. Recommend […] Morada Bay for dinner....great views. Wednesday nights at Ocean View is flip night....can get your drinks for free. Les mer

"Cute Cottage"
Adorable waterside cottage with kitchenette. It's small, but just the right size for two people. Parking is limited, so jockeying for the spot in front of our cottage was a pain. The bed was very firm and the chair and couch could use some more padding. The biggest downside was the noise from the wall mounted air conditioner. That made for a not so […] restful night's sleep. "Step back in time"
It's a slice of 1956. Very cool, laid back resort...quaint cottages or suites, most have some sort of view. Nice landscaping, very pleasant and helpful staff. Upgraded king-size beds with spa-like bedding. The living room furniture is just OK and the interior paint color, at least in our suite, is a drab brown mustard color. "Excellent choice in the Keys!"
I picked the Pines & Palms Resort as a Plan B after the rates for my first choice went up. I couldn't be happier for this turn of events. Not only the person at the office was very courteous and helpful, but the room exceeded my expectations (clean, very well furnished) and the location was excellent, close to everything you'd need including restaurants, […] bars, and supermarkets. My room had a complete kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils. The hotel's common areas are very well maintained, and being able to take a late night dip in a sparkling clean, heated swimming pool was a very welcomed plus. My only regret was not having enough time to enjoy the hotel properly due to my Christmas plans, but I certainly look forward to returning to this nice hotel real soon. Les mer

"Cute stop off point half way to Key West"
We stay here on our way down to Key West, since we couldn't handle flying into Ft. Lauderdale from the West Coast and then driving 4 hours to Key West. This hotel was a great price and we were pleasantly surprised how cute and convienent it was. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the Keys. Do miss out on trying the Key Lime Pie at the […] Midway Cafe, which is just a couple of blocks away. This was the best I had in the Keys! Les mer

great location and super nice people...there is quite a difference in the two bedroom accomodations...the one they wanted to put us in did not exactly meet what we wanted as it was in the back of the resort looking at the back of the other buildings with a small patio...but they were more than accommodating and upgraded us to a beautiful spot on the […] water at no extra charge...it was my husbands birthday and we were there with friends for a nice weekend ..and we had exactly that...we are planning a longer stay with them next year as we really enjoyed the area and the resort...great biking going south,fishing,kayaking, and a dive shop close if you want a reef trip.....live in Ft Myers Florida ... they Keys is a nice escape that is fairly close... Very friendly staff.Nicely kept grounds.Pool is a small size, but no one was there so it was ours! Very comfortable bed.Overall we enjoyed the resort and would recommend it!

Quite neighbourhood... Very meditating experience.
Very clean, however no extra amenities. Needs updating, small bathroom. Not a swim beach, good for boating and kayaking only. Morada Bay sunset and dinner is a must just down the street a mile or so.
We really enjoyed our stay. We had a slight problem with our room and the staff very quickly took care of it and offered to not only move us but upgrade the cottage as well. Everything was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the "old Keyes" feel of the cottage.
"Florida Key Summer Trip"
The Pine & Palms Resort in Islamorada Florida is a classic "old" style motel. The grounds, room, service and staff were nothing short of excellent. The location is ideal, between Key Largo and Marathon. Many close restaranunts, and attractions.

This hotel was really cute!!! The cottage like rooms were very nice and extremely clean. The entire family was happy.. Our room had a king size bed a brand new pull out couch and they added a pack and play for one of our 18 month old babies. Hotel staff were very accommodating. The pool was a little small and the hotel did not allow babies with swim […] diapers in the pool... That was our only negative. :( the location was great, very close to great restaurants. "peaceful and relaxing"
My husband, grandson and I spent two nights at this lovely resort. Th buildings are well kept and the grounds have beautiful vegetation. The pool is clean and welcoming. It's like looking into a postcard. Smaller and quiet and a very nice place to come home to after dealing with the hubbub of tourism in the Keys. The only downfall is that the air conditioner […] was a little loud during the night, but it was a welcome relief to have working, as our week was extremely hot and humid. Les mer

We loved our stay. We had just spent the previous week in Key West and we were dissapointed. We were looking for The Keys the way they used to be. The Pines and Palms fit that need perfectly. Very nostalgic, clean, and friendly.

"Schlechtestes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ever"
Wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt mehr als enttäuscht! Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir ein Zimmer der niedrigsten Zimmerkategorie obwohl wir eine hoehere gebucht und natuerlich schon bezahlt hatten. Nachdem wir an der Rezeption ein anderes Zimmer verlangten wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass alles ausgebucht sei und das Hotel bei Buchungen über hotels.com die […] Zimmerkategorie nicht mitgeteilt bekäme... Unser sehr spartanisch eingerichtetes Zimmer lag in einem Holz-Gebäude auf Stelzen. Genau unter unserem Zimmer brummte die ganze Nacht ein Getränkeautomat - abwechselnd mit den extrem lauten Klimaanlagen der Nachbarn. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Nach dem Aufwachen am Morgen fand ich mich dann auch noch mit einer grossen Anzahl von Insekten im Bett wieder, die anscheinend waehrend der Nacht in der Bettdecke geschlüpft waren...!!! Nachdem ich ein getötetes Exemplar beim Auschecken zeigte, wurde lapidar geantwortet, dass das Ameisen (???) seien und dass man dagegen leider nichts machen könne... Zum Glück hatten wir nur eine Nacht in diesem "Resort" gebucht und reisten sofort ab... Ich kann in keinster Weise nachvollziehen woher die guten Bewertungen aus der Vergangenheit kommen. Wir kamen uns im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes abgezockt vor! Der Preis für diese Übernachtung war eine Unverschämtheit. Zum Glück war unser nächstes Hotel in Key West ein Volltreffer ! Les mer
