God (nok) frokost, internett på rommet, og generell god kvalitet på hotellet. Ligger også like ved en park i en mindre støyete del av London, så et godt alternativ for de som vil ha det litt roligere rundt seg. Samt godt alternativ om man skal besøke 02 arenaen under oppholdet. 10 pund med taxi.

Overall, I was a little disappointed with the Devenport House Hotel. There are good things about the hotel such as its fantastic location close to all the wonderful things in Greenwich. The hotel's free parking was very welcome and the staff we very friendly. The free wifi was also a big plus. My main issue was that the perception created for me by […] the photos on the website, that the hotel has an old house feel to it, couldn't be further from the reality. It's a relatively soulless conference hotel with very standard and fairly uninspiring rooms. When exiting the lift the remnants of someone's room service, a rather unappetising looking meal, was the first thing that met my eyes. It was still, there some four hours later and just seemed to reinforce the idea that the hotel was pretty ordinary. Didn't try breakfast or in fact any other of the amenities. So, if you used the hotel like we did, as a place to get a night's sleep, then it was fine, but couldn't imagine staying there for any length of time. Les mer

My wife and I originally stayed at this hotel to attend a concert at the O2 arena. The free parking and easy access to the O2 made it a perfect choice, and since then we have returned three times, the latest on 5th and 6th of April to visit the Hockney exhibition. On every occasion we have been very impressed with the positive attitude of staff, the […] quality of the breakfasts, the standard of the rooms, and the sheer value for money this hotel offers. A small part of me wants to keep this venue as secret as possible. I defy you to find better value for money in a London hotel with free parking. It offers everything you could possibly need for a short break in the Capitol, and at the end of a day of sightseeing or shopping it is so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of central London and relax in one of the many restaurants and bars Greenwich has to offer. I must particularly mention the staff working in the hotel restaurant. They were polite, efficient, and always on hand without being obtrusive. Similarly the reception staff proved to be delightful, and ready to go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a quality hotel at a very reasonable price, with positive staff and the bonus of free parking then look no further. Les mer

All the stafff we encountered were marvellous. Extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is in a lovely position away from the hustle and bustle of central London with a trendy village feel. I will go back to stay in the future.

Sufficient room for a night and a quiet location, but still convenient. Parking included. Bathroom looked a bit dated.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and found it to be in a really nice part of the city. The local area was good and had lots to look at and places to shop and eat. The Train was two mins away to which was a bonus. We went to the o2 for a concert and it was only a few stops and we enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar before which had some really comfy […] seating and friendly staff. Great place for meetings and or friends drinks before night out etc. big bonus was really good breakfast and late check at 12 noon :) well worth the money and the 4 stars :) Les mer

The hotel is at the heart of Greenwich next to the National Maritime Museum and backs onto Greenwich Park. With its own on site car park what more can one ask for in a hotels location!? The staff were friendly and helpful and after a good nights sleep the breakfast was simply superb!

This is a pleasant and comfortable hotel which provided an excellent breakfast. The only critiscism is the location is an expensive taxi ride...get the DLR where possible! Good staff.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at the Devonport House and won't be our last. Comfortable rooms and great staff. The hotel is in the heart of historic Greenwich and close to great pubs and restauants. It is also within a few minutes walk of the DLR and main rail station, giving quick and easy access to central London.

The hotel itself is a little dated, but adequate and clean with helpful staff. However it is in a perfect spot for exploring Greenwich, and has good connections by train/DLR/tube and therefore other areas including central London. If you can get a good deal on this hotel, then it's a really good option. Not sure about food in the hotel, we didn't eat […] there, but there are plently of restaurants and cafes very close by and a really good bakers/deli with artisan breads. Les mer

We stayed here as we were going to a concert at the O2 arena. The hotel was in a great location, right next to the Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park. The room was perfect for a one-night stay. The bathroom was slightly tired looking but very clean so not really a problem. Only gripe would be the meagre toiletries on offer so take your own! Would definitely […] stay here again if going to O2, which is only a ten minute bus ride away, with the stop just outside the hotel. And a definite plus is the free on-site parking. Les mer

Fabulous venue, excellent service, room and breakfast. Certainly go there again.

I would recommend this hotel on location alone - you could not get closer to the center of Grennwich with its shops and bars, the historic Naval College and the Royal Park. On top of that the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was brilliant. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends.

i have enjoyed staying at this hotel because of its location and the quality of infrastructure and service.the environment is clean and so are the rooms.

Excellent hotel right next to the National Maritime Museum. Ouir room was large, bright and had all that we could ask for. Breakfast very good too, though it was not included in the room rate.

The location is really good, a short bus ride from the O2 and good amenities/tube station. The hotel itself is quite tired and the rooms were not particularly clean so I don't think it can be a true 4*. However, for the price and the comfy bed there is not a reason to complain particularly.

As a chain type hotel, this hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Infact I would say of all the hotels we've stayed in, whatever the rating, the staff in this hotel would come out top. The standard room we had, was of reasonable size, pleasant decor, comfortable and the bathroom adequate. The dining area was arranged well, […] tables not too close and the food good (only dined in on one evening, so many restaurants nearby). Would have liked the option to have fish - kippers/ smoked salmon etc for breakfast. Overall a pleasant, quiet, hotel to stay in with the added bonus of parking and for us good value for money, in an excellent position for O2. No air conditioning - could be hot in summer and paint work - windows and around bath a little tired are the only negatives and they did not detract from our stay. Les mer

We stayed for one night as we were going to a concert at the O2. We have stayed at 3 other hotels when going to the O2 and this was the 1st time at the Devere. We will stay here again as location was fantastic, Easy access to the O2. Breakfast was good, room was good and clean (bigger than the rooms at the Holiday Express!) Staff are very friendly and […] helpful. The tiles in the bathroom do look a little bit dated but they are white and clean, nothing to moan about. Another bonus is that it has free parking. We will book to stay at the De Vere the next time we are in London. Les mer

Hotel clean, room not huge but fine for a couple of nights. Free coffee in lounge nice touch. Very convenient for Greenwich and not bad for London, hop on the river bus - 35 mins and views fantastic!

I thought this hotel excellent value, even though we missed out on the limited availability of the cheapest rate. Right on the doostep of all Greenwich sites. Staff were great; efficient, polite and helpful. Great room; I don't agree with other reviewrs who say the bathroom was "tired". Free parking a real bonus in this area. Book with confidence.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Devonport as a convenient location when visiting our son in Greenwich. Love the position of the hotel down a courtyard away from all the hustle bustle of Greenwich but really just a few steps away from it all. Rooms and beds are comfortable and clean, though the bathrooms are a bit tatty - old tiling and […] grouting but quite clean. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is typical buffet breakfast - not bad but not great. Selection was good and restaurant pleasant. Les mer

Nice location near centre of Maritime Greenwich. Good room and quiet too. Convenient for Docklands Light Railway access.

Having just completed a 3 night stay at the Davenport House in Greenwich, it was without doubt one of my worst hotel experiences. We booked a twin bedded room for my son who is 16 and I. The room was extremely small and the condition left a great deal to be desired. The bathroom was small and had very basic toiletries, in fact you would find more in […] a 1 star motorway motel ! The bathroom was untidy, tatty and needed a major refurbishment. The room was extremely warm, and very uncomfortable we had difficulty in sleeping. To compound matters the bedding was stained! We returned to our room Sunday evening and found a party / disco going on directly below our room, this continued for a couple of hrs, making it impossible to sleep. I contact the management and asked for a room transfer, but they explained there was nothing available! They should not allow such rooms to be occupied if parties / disco are planned in that area. It is simply not fair for the room occupier, totally unreasonable. The staff offered complementary breakfast and dinner, but after taking breakfast on the first morning i would not recommend either the service or the quality of the food. The juices for example were located directly adjacent to heat lamps, so unless you like your fruit juice warm ! The breakfast black pudding was floating in fat and some of the the sauces had not been topped up. The reception staff tried to help and the location of the Hotel was good, but the level of service and quality was disgraceful for a four star hotel. In fact a basic i star hotel, would provide far better service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it is not good value, in fact the complete opposite. J Evans Les mer

The room was small in comparison to others we have stayed at in that price range. This was supposed to be the flagship hotel of the group and it was pretty ordinary. No proper shower. No fridge. No porterage. One packet of biscuits between two people was indicative of the overall service. There was plenty of car parking space.

Very central Greenwich hotel withbonus of parking included. We stayed during a festival weekend - the loud music finished early so it didn't cause any problems and then extremely quiet for the location. Bathroom a bit tired and could do with a refurb otherwise better than we expecte! Didn't try the food as so many places nearby. Will definately stay […] there next time we visit family. Les mer

My only complaint about the accommodation is that there is no air conditioning of any kind and it was really, really hot the three nights we stayed (some of the hottest weather for five years). Even with the window wide open, we were sweltering. Obviously the weather is not the hotel's fault, but a fan in the room would have been good. Just would like to congratulate the staff (restaurant & reception) during the course of our overnight stay - particularly Patricia (I think that was her name) on reception for whom nothing appeared to be too much trouble and always with a smile. The company should be very proud of them all.

We only stayed for one night at the hotel but we were treated like we were there for a week. The staff were very welcoming and so friendly. The room was very comfortable and peaceful, if a little bit small for the price. The check-out time is 10.30-11am which suited us perfectly and the breakfast in the morning was also wonderful with a huge array of […] everything you could need. The hotel is in the middle of Greenwich, 30 seconds from the park gate and a 2 minute walk to the Thames where you can catch a Clipper ferry (Catamaran) straight into town (which we would highly recommend). I only have 2 minor complaints about the hotel. Considering the price for the hotel room we expected a little bit more in the way of bathroom soaps/shower gels etc. The provided shower/hair wash was a small tube only really enough for 1 person. There was a small soap for the sink but I think we expected just a little bit more. The second point was that although we arrived late, we really needed some food when we got to the hotel. There was no available room service past ten o'clock I think. I would recommend that if you are coming from the O2 Arena, as we did, then you eat at a restaurant there as there is nothing open in Greenwich at that time of night (unsurprisingly) aside from a fish and chip shop on the high street which was all we needed but nonetheless, its just a word of warning. Overall, a wonderful stay but bring your own toiletries and if you are arriving late, dont expect any food. I would highly recommend this hotel. Les mer

The hotel was fine except that the room seemed a bit grubby and the toilet had not been flushed from the previous occupant. The hotel bar was nice but I would advise people to go elsewhere for breakfast, there are plenty of places around. The service and quality of the food was poor. Overall this wasn't worth the price to stay there (this was without […] breakfast included), I would suggest if you are going to stay to leave your booking until the last minute and get it cheaper, then it would seem ok. Can't fault it. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Although we only had breakfast on each of the days we stayed the dinner and bar menus were reasonably costed. You could eat as much as you wanted at breakfast from a vast choice. Very convenient to DLR and therefore the underground.

This was an excellent hotel , good friendly staff and great location. Take care if you are going there by car as sat navs can mis direct you !

Great location for Greenwich Market & the Cutty Sark DRL. Unfortunately the weather was poor when we stayed, so couldn't wander round in comfort!

Genuinely, a perfect experience. High standard of customer service, cleanliness and food. Cant wait to stay again.

Meget fint hotel, vi havde et super værelse og morgenmaden er der nok af og i god kvalitet. Der er lidt langt ind til London, så man skal beregne ca 45 min hver vej. Men lækkert hotel i stille omgivelser.
