Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Tampa

Første gang på hard rock hotell. Vi var to voksne og to barn (9,11). Flott basseng og flott hotell - store rom og dobbel vask. Supert. Flott service også. Eneste som trekker ned var at vi måtte gå gjennom casino delen for å komme til garasjen og hard rock cafe. Veldig bråkete og røykfull del. Barna likte ikke å gå gjennom der. Ikke plassen for en familieferie […] i lengre tid, men fint for et par dager med litt luksus-følelse og det å ha bodd på Hard Rock Hotel. Ville nok heller bodd der igjen uten barna. Les mer

Had double rooms but they were not together, stated we had to call ahead and request that. What? Also tried to charge us our rooms again and had to show them Hotel.com reservation. Casino has very high tables and no one was winning.

The minute I pulled up to the hotel I smelled the smoke. The filtration system in the casino, lobby and main areas of the hotel is non-existent! The 9th floor room was great, clean, no smell from smokers on 1st floor. Very happy with it. The only complaint was the a/c Did not provide much cooling unless turned down to below 68 at night with all the […] bedding provided. I would not stay again. Would not advise a non-smoker to stay. Guest robes, Marbel tile, Large screen TV, Very clean room and very comfortable bedding. We always enjoy staying there.

If you don't like cigarette smoke and tacky old people you should avoid this hotel. It's really poorly laid out, so unless you're there to gamble there's a lot of other properties better suited, no matter how good a rate you get @ this hotel. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I ONLY LIVE ABOUT 40 MIN AWAY, BUT MY HUBBY AND I STAY EVERY CHANCE WE GET. THIS PLACE IS A ONE STOP SHOP.

We were very pleased with the hotel - rooms were definately above expectations - the hotel staff [especially front desk and maids] were great. Buffet in casino was of poor quality, but the other resturants were superior. We had a great time and look forward to staying here again.

Rock On!! From the entrance to the hotel and casino everything is Rocking! Loved the room, the great food and drinks, and the Casino! This was actually our second time to stay there and can't wait to stay again! Great hotel had alot of fun, except the pool was closed wish I would of known that before hand. Other than that everything was GREAT!!!!!

On the hottest day in Tampa I was unable to use the pool because the sign said "temporarily closed". Well it turns out it is closed until January 2012. Had I known this when I booked it, I would never have gone there. I will be in Tampa often since my daughter just started college there but will be staying elsewhere. Great Hotel. The rooms were awesome!! The only negative was the smell in the lobby of smoke and cleaning product. Really nothing you can do just very memorable.

First time visit, we only stayed there for 1 night. It's about a 40 minute trip from where we live so going there for just a night wasn't a problem. We're frequent visitors to Vegas, so it was a little difficult to get used to a "local" casino, i.e., no sports book, no other casinos to visit, all slot machines. I wouldn't recommend spending more than […] a day there, two days tops. When you're surrounded by limted slot machines (1 cent, 2 cent, a nickel), it gets boring quickly. Beautiful and Clean!! Very Bright and Very Hard Rock.

As far as being in the Casino and playing and trying to get a drink it is the worst because finally after waiting 25mins or more you tell the waitress what you want and then `in my experience and others that we were with she never came back with your drink and then the last nite we were there finally she came to us we ordered while we were playing then […] came back after 20 mins and charged us for the drink I asked her I thought while you were playing if you got a drink it was free, paying was not the problem her answer was that every once in awhile they tell us we are to charge and other times no charge so when are we suppose to know that you are charging and when you are not charging I think that was a pretty unsatisfactory answer that made no sense For that The people and family members I know I would not recommend this Hotel. Very very smoky smelling...some service people in casino unfriendly and unhelpful. very nice people in the hard rock cafe.

Bunch of us stay on the top floor of this fabulous hotel and had a blast. Staff were super nice (especially Crista at the Front Desk). Relaxing by the pool during the day and dancing and gambling at night. I LOVE the Hard Rock <3

The Hard Rock Hotel is a great place to stay. My family enjoyed it very much. From the casino, to the restaurants, to the service of the staff at the hotel, everything was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Hotel service included many free amenities, such as the use of the spa. Also the hotel side was separated well from the casino.

the evening casino staff was a lot of fun from the pit bosses to the dealers everyone was having a good time! if you need help getting around or a place to eat around town ask Billy he will know. hooked us up every night we were there. dealers brian, cory, jodi, jenna so much fun! pit bosses danny and arron great guys. was not a big fan of the service […] at the green room or the HR cafe..service there was lacking. the AM dealers not as friendly or fun as the night dealers so if you are gonna play.. do it at night! i lived in vegas for years and i know casino/hotels and this place is outstanding. as my GF said who needs vegas? The only problem we had was with the television that did not work during thunder storms because all the stations were satalite chanels. The rooms were cleaned everyday and even when the TV station did not work, they would send maintenance to check it out, and they would arrive within 5 mins after I called them. while the casino was great there was way too much cigarette smoke in the hotel. you could smell the smoke as soon as you walked in the door. i suggest some type of blowers or suction system. not everyone smokes, this made me leave the casino early. the smoke started to bother my throat.

This Hotel & Casino is like nothing I have ever experienced, The first night asked for Xtra pillows (have acid reflux) the second night asked for Xtra pillows, They never even said we are short on pillows or ever replied to us, My husband slept sitting up in a chair all night and no it was not a recliner. What ever you do do Not try to bring in any […] beer, we were caught at the door and they refused to let us bring anything up to the room and replied "we have everything you need right here in this hotel you buy it from us!" Every thing but PILLOWS !!! The Casino was a joke there was no play just feed me (Slot machines) They take your money like nothing I have ever experienced before, There was One good thing there and that was the steak house they have the best Surf & Turf , by the way it was a Birthday Dinner celebration, NOT that I hit a jackpot and treated with my winnings, No such Luck at this place, suggestion : put that beer in your suitcase before getting there! OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE CASINO WAS EXTREMELY SMOKY FROM CIGARETTE SMOKE AND CIGAR SMOKE. WAS HARD TO BREATHE AT TIMES. WISH THEY WOULD HAVE AN AREA FOR NON-SMOKERS TO USE.

I was worried about the hotel after reading some bad reviews. It ended up as one of the best I have stayed in. All staff went out of their way to please from the front desk, maids,waiters to the valet. Great experience and I will be back!

Our stay was great. The only complaint I have is the maintenance of the pool area (tiles) and spa were not in the best shape. Lots of white paint splattered on the black tile. Other than that, it was a fun time. Great poolside service, room service, and good food. If you stay you have to eat at the Council Oak. AMAZING food! What a wonderful short getaway for florida residents. Stayed 2 nights.....want to Dali Museum one day and Morse Museum the other...at night we ate at the hotel Market....was like being in Las Vegas....Yum, Yum. We gambled at night..... what could be better... Would definite recommend

This hotel might be 10 minutes outside of Tampa but worth the trip.Clean,modern, plenty of gaming and dining right in the complex. I'll be back

Hard to say anything bad here. The parking was easy and convenient. Our room was upgraded since they had no king size rooms available. The view from our room was spectacular...the too. Was beautiful...the food at the restaraunt was delicious. The customer service we received was outstanding. Will be returning to this hotel in thebfuture with friend […] s/family. Les mer

Felt like we was at a nursing home. I am 36, and thought it would me a nice place to relax with my friends from college. Upon arrival, be prepared to be bombarded with older folks in their 70-80's. This is the only hotel with a casino within hundreds of miles explaining the older crowd. The music did not work at the pool, pretty weird we were told speakers […] were broken all 4 days we were there. For a hard Rock, does not compare to any Hard Rock I have been to. If your younger and think this is a party place, just be prepared. The service is slow at the pool and the upscale restaruant food was subpar. Sushi was horrible, Steak place was nice, but stcik to the steak! Lobster all dried out, which we also heard from other people as well. Les mer

The check-in was a breeze, no line at all around 4pm and the place was full of people. It is a very modern, clean building and decorated very nice living up to the Hard Rock's standard. We sat outside at the pool bar where the sun was shining and the food that passed by looked fantastic and very large portions. Our evening started around 630 at the […] casino, still many people, but you could find a seat to play a table game. I was surprised to find no roulette or craps there but coming from my A.C. and Vegas experiences, I never thought to check. About 8pm the place was so crowded, being the only casino in town, that it was 3 deep to play anything. The hotel attracts the just over 21 crowd in droves and smoking is allowed everywhere. By 10 pm I had to go upstairs to my room since I wasnt comfortable downstairs walking in a huge cloud of smoke. You could literally see the haze at the top of the room. The drinks at the tables are also not complimentary, which again, was something I didnt expect. The food in the Hard Rock Cafe was good and service all around was terrific. Les mer

Our trip was our honeymoon. There was plenty of things to do in and around the hotel. The concierge was very helpful with getting to different places as well. There is a mall within 10 minutes. Busch Gardens is within about 10 minutes. The aquarium is within about 20 minutes. Great location! Easy access! Beautiful pool and hot tub area with a bar. Excellent […] trip! we loved the room-bathroom was the best! My only problem was that it would have been nice to have a non-smoking area in the casino. It's hard to enjoy with so much smoke .

They show a different flare, We had a great time with not a single issue. We will stay here again, you can spend all day just looking at everything in the hotel.

Loved the hotel stay, second time staying there. However, this time the food 7 survice was not up to par. Baby Back Ribs, were just terrible!!! Service in 'Green Room' was awful! As a single person i was ignored and didn't appreciate it. They forget the person they are serving might have been an employee in the food service business at a 5 star hotel! We […] as a rule are the Best Tippers. This was the first time I almost didn't leave a tip...When told of the terrible service to the head supervisor, he was very rude and condisending.....So much for 'the green room' and they weren't even busy!!!!!!!!! This Hard Rock Hotel is in no way anything close to the experience of the one in Las Vegas. The building itself is nice, laid out well with a similar center bar, but the scene is night and day! For starters, there is a very strong lingering odor of cigarette smoke almost everywhere you go. The "clientele" if you will is apparently very typical of Florida. […] The place was PACKED with senior citizens. Nothing wrong with this but if you have been to the Hard Rock in Vegas, you will no this is nothing similar. If you are looking for a "rockin" scene night and day, look elsewhere. There was almost ZERO people of the 20's-30's crowd. The pool scene was HORRIBLE during the day and the club "Floyd's" was nothing that it was hyped up to be. It was a moderate scene at best. The surrounding neighborhood close to the hotel was very shady and we were told by the locals that it was on the edge of the "hood" (their words, not mine) and that civilization was a few miles away. The only good thing about the location was that it was a short drive to get to the city center locals or the "adult entertainment" mecca that Tampa is known for. There was only one main restaurant in the casino that I could locate and it was a LONG line to get in there...apparently the locals love to come and play the slots and earn points for a free dinner, so be prepared for a long wait. The only other option for food is a cafeteria style food court and the food is pricey for what you get. All in all, it was an ok location that could have easily been remedied by some nicer scenery and a more Hard Rock expected experience. Les mer

The food was excellent, the gambling fun and our room as spacious and clean. The elevators operated quickly and there was no waiting. Someone was also by the elevators to check for room keys and there was no trouble any where in the hotel.

Great hotel, convenient location, all the amenities

Very pleasant stay. The rooms are wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Security is tight at the entrance to the elevator, so the floors are quiet and controlled. Only complaint would be the service at the pool for food and drinks was slow and the waitresses were not very friendly.

When we checked into our room, there was a hole in the sheetrock in the wall. We reported this at once to the front desk. After checking out - the front desk called to blame the hole on me. I repeated that I had reported this at check-in. At 1:30am the sink in the bathroom started pouring water. We called to request to be moved. Instead they sent a […] plumber to our room in the middle of the night to repair the sink. That was very inconvenient to be up in the middle of the night. Les mer
