Litt avstand fra sentrum. Vi brukte taxi til og fra sentrum og old Trafford. Ca 6-8 pund. Lytt mellom rommene!

+ billig + koselig + alt av nødvendige fasiliteter + gratis wifi i lobbyen + behagelig sittearena med pub og tv nede ved lobbyen - tung luft/ luktet klor og gammelt - dårlig luft - ikke det peneste hotellet - dårlig beliggenhet alt i alt helt greit med tanke på prise (vi betalte 100kr natten pr pers)

Vi rakk ikke å tilbringe mange timene på dette hotellet, men kan knapt forestille oss et bedre alternativ for reisende som skal videre med fly tidlig om morgenen fra Manchester. Vennlig og til fingerspissene profesjonelt personale, som hadde full oversikt over aktivitetene på flyplasssen og kjørte oss og bagasjen til døra til terminalen flyet gikk fra uten å ta noe ekstra for dette. Anbefales !

Flott hotell med det meste man kan ønske seg av fasiliteter, men helhetsinntrykket blir ødelagt av en seng som føltes som betong og en bitte liten TV som sannsynligvis var ny sent på 80-tallet! Radisson har mye å lære av Marriot når det gjelder sengekomfort! Hotellpersonalet var veldig søte og imøtekommende. Maten i restauranten var IKKE verdt peng […] ene. Les mer

Konge Hotell!! Bra beliggenhet, Frokosten var bra Rommet var rent og ryddig lagt opp med stilig baderoms løsning.-Minus at et så bra hotell forsatt har gamle TV.

Kjempekjekt hotell å vere gjest på. Tatt godt vare på på alle måtar. Servicen var fantastisk. God mat, flott beliggenhet og mange kjekke fasiliteter på hotellet.

Veldig bra hotell med standard som ville kostet vesentlig mer andre steder. Veldig fine rom med veldig bra bad. Det eneste negative jeg fant med hotellet er at det er få kanaler som ikke formidler nyheter/seriøse program og jeg ønsker mer frukt til frokosten. Et topp hotell med sentral plassering!

Til å være et 5 stjerners hotel holder det ikke mål Sengene fremsto som fleltsenger som sto på hjul og rullet frem og tilbake. Sengene var harde og direkte vonde å ligge på. Puter er som de aller fleste steder et tragisk kapittel. Ellers greit rom med internett fasiliteter.
"Chic and convenient in the heart of the city"
First impressions of this hotel are that outwardly it retains its classic look; a beautiful brownstone building that you could easily imagine has stood the test of time far longer than many of its contemporary modern competitors. Step inside the lobby (via the doorman) and you are presented with a far more up-to-date view. Comfy sofas, modern sculptures […] and a general ambience of class and luxury ensue. Upon check in the staff were pleasant and courteous and we were up to our room within ten minutes of entering the building - just what was needed on a cold and rainy day in Manchester. Despite being slightly disappointed with the size of the room itself, this didn't take away anything from the comfort or the style. The bed was large and adorned with luxurious cushions, the bathroom consisted of a wet room, bath and separate dressing area so ideal if more than one of you wants to get ready at any one time. The usual mini bar and television services were available, as was free wi-fi..handy because neither of us was able to get a phone signal in the room! Although not having a great view of the city (we were side-on to the reception area) the room was more than adequate for our needs and we had a good night's sleep in comfort and peace and quiet. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel the next morning (quite expensive, even for a 5 star hotel!) but the fact that you are bang slap in the middle of the city means that you can eaily source something more suitable if you want to venture out. The bar and the afternoon tea facilities also looked good and there was a good atmosphere when we came back to the hotel on the Friday evening after our night out. The doormen ensured that nobody who wasn't meant to be there was allowed in and this ensured that there was no trouble from the usual suspects. On the whole, we would stay there again and you do get what you pay for. For a well-appointed, good quality hotel in a great location, you can't go wrong with the Radisson Edwardia Les mer

This place was exceptional! Facilities were fantastic and responsiveness of the staff was amazing. Great food in restaurant. I sometimes stay at Radisson in Edinburgh and there is no comparison.

Efficient & friendly check in. Room was very comfortable and bathroom spacious. Drinks in bar a bit expensive but otherwisae no complaints at all.

"radisson edwardian -tired hotel"
the hotel staff on reception were wearing very tired uniforms that looked washed to death. The room when we got in was also very tired the room was small and not double as ordered but twin room-when we complained they did not offer to give us a better room or double but did not appear bothered. I have stayed in many five star hotels and i feel this […] was no better than 3 star hotels. there were no slippers or toiletries provided it had no luxury feel to it at all. We checked out and went to the Rocco Forte and it was far superior the staff were wonderful Les mer

"Good classy hotel"
Well we got to stay here when the Newcastle players were stay here, so I am sure that gives it away that this is a nice hotel. Overall pleased with the hotel. Only thing i hated was that the key kept cutting out so i had to get a new one all the time.

Close to centre of Manchester; very pleasant hotel. Unfortunately there was a political party conference nearby which meant a large part of surrounding area was cordoned off, with large police presence. Very comfortable room Good breakfast in the morning
"girls night out"
Stayed for one night to celebrate friends birthday. Lovely hotel (have stayed once before).Disappointed that we did't have any biscuits on the tea tray and not a bottle of water in the room or even the option of taking one from the mini bar as it was locked. This is a 5 star hotel after all.

Love a weekend and Theatre in Manchester so decided to have a change from our usual choice of staying at the Lowry and gave the Radisson a try. Not disappointed ! Great staff & buzzin atmosphere and our room was fantastic. Trendy, clean and comfortable. Cocktails in the bar and the Breakfast the following morning were scrumptious. Didn't eat in the […] Restaurant because we love going to San Carlos but we shall definately be trying the Radisson again ! Les mer

Excellent Hotel, but we had to pay extra for Breakfast when we thought we had booked a Wedding Package. But the price of the drinks appeared to rocket in the wee sma' hours!

The room was well appointed and very comfortable but unfortunately the minifridge had not been checked since the middle of July because I found a packet of M&S cooked chicken pieces there with a use by date of 18.07.11. The housekeeper came an removed these very quickly. The hotel foyer and the corridor from the lift to our room had a strange smell […] reminiscent of cleaning fluid but it could have been the new carpet. Also, when I opened a wardrobe door the door to the safe sprang open and hit me on the forehead. Perhaps the safe doors should be kept closed. The main hotel restaurant was excellent and we had a fabulous meal there. Les mer

Within ten to fifteen minutes walk of anything in the city centre, this is an extremely comfortable hotel with very high quality staff in all functions. The Opus 1 restaurant is very good if you want in-house dining but there are a large number of good restaurants nearby as well. A couple of minor niggles: - the mini bar automatically records even […] the movement of an item as a purchase, so shifting a can of coke to store some fresh milk went on my bill as a purchase. - every single drink and tip in the hotel bar appeared to be itemised separately rather than on a tab by tab basis - one consequence of which is that I missed the random mini bar figures on the morning of my checkout. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. I did not have a car with me and if you do, then local parking is expensive but there may be some discount offered by the Radisson but I don't know for sure. Les mer
"Doesn't dissapoint - but did a bit this time"
I've stayed in the Radission Edwardian a few times now and it's always great, lovely big clean rooms, comfy beds, great service and breakfasts and spa. It is a little more pricey than other hotels in Manchester but I booked as I thought it would be worth the money, however despite booking well in advance and checking in early the room didn't have a […] great view, was a bit smaller than normal and lacked something special (e.g. shampoo on dispensers rather than minis). Don't get me wrong, it's still a great hotel but they need to add some more of the little extras to make it worth the premium I think. Les mer

"Take That"
We booked this hotel quite last minute as we were coming up to manchester for the concert and everywhere was very full...had a good deal and couldnt have been happier with the service and the position of the hotel. The only draw backs were the prices in the hotel bar, 4 drinks £32! & our twin room was obviously kitted out for people with physical disabilities […] and the shower was fitted with a disabled friendly seat, which when folded up, still left very little room for anyone standing!!! Other than that, the staff couldnt have been more helpful, & everything was spotless. We loved our stay here & I have already recommended it to many friends. Les mer

Lovely staff everywhere: reception, pool/gym, bar, restaurant. Friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble, really made the difference to the atmosphere of a swish modern hotel that could otherwise have been intimidating. Delightful pool, nicely designed room and bathroom, delicious breakfast. Only quibbles were that the bedroom windows cannot […] be opened but the air conditioning was a bit noisy and didn't seem to cool the room effectively (even though it was not hot outside that night); and the blinds didn't quite cover the windows fully so that from dawn on shafts of light woke us up. If you are not particularly sensitive to light or air con noise, everything else was lovely and I would highly recommend it on that basis. Les mer
