This is the perfect place to stay if you are skiing in Breckenridge. There are several beautiful options up at the mountain as well but this has the perfect location. You can easily walk to everything. The Gondola is right across the road and downtown is only 4-5 minutes away. If you are feeling lazy there is a shuttlebus that can take you everywhere.We found that the time it took us to wait for the shuttle wasn,t worth it,it was such a short walk anyway. The room was spaciuos and comfortable and the only thing we missed was bathrobes. It would have been nice when you walk to and from the pool and hottubs.We had a two bedroom/bathroom apartement and it was perfect for us and our teenage children. There should have been a shelf or hooks on the wall for hanging up mittens and skihelmets and such in the hallway. Everything was clean and inviting. We spent two nights in Denver before we came to Breckenridge and i was surprised to find that they only had the thin sheets on the beds where as in Denver they had real down comforters.(if they weren't down they were at least nice and thick and warm) The pillows where a bit hard for my likeing but to be fare i like really soft and formable pillows. The rooms had their own private skilocker in the lobby and coffee/tea and hot chocolate was always available.The staff was really helpful and there was nothing they wouldn't do if we asked.The shuttledriver took us up to some friends of ours up on the mountain even if it was out of his way. We where there at one of the busiest weekends of the year,presidents weekend. This made the town really busy and the restaurants were packed.You will either have two wait(very few of them take reservations) or you could go to the supermarket and get your own food wich you could prepare in the well equipped kitchen. Later in the week it was less crowded and we did get to try out some nice restaurants. Vail,Keystone,Arapahoe Basin and Copper Mountain are all just a short drive away and all worth a

Stedet lå veldig bra til og rommene var veldig store. Vi hadde 2 soverom med hvert sitt store bad og en stooor stue med peis. Hadde også veranda, med sittegruppe og grill. Helt perfekt!

Great shuttle service to skiing. Excellent, privately run, breakfast and sushi joints in the building. Very convenient to Interstate, groceries, Starbucks.

I have to say, other than the bed being too firm, which might be to some folks liking, I was more than pleasantly surprised with my stay here. There's an on-site ski rental shop, an AMAZING breakfast restaurant just off the lobby that even the locals frequent, a yummy sushi restaurant and a McD's, Safeway Grocery, Sports Authority and a pub within walking […] distance. Best of all, there's a hotel shuttle to Vail Ski Resort that picks up and drops off every 30 minutes until 8:00pm that's MORE THAN convenient. The staff was super friendly, fun and helpful. It was unclear when I booked this hotel room that I was getting a handicap accessible room. There was no designation between the shower and bathroom floor and as a result, the bathroom floor flooded with each shower. There was no counter, no hooks in the bathroom.

"Close enough to the slopes"
Decided to ski Vail for a couple of days, with an overnight at Vail. Holiday Inn has a free shuttle, about 10 minutes to the slopes. Great hot tub whirlpool, sauna and outdoor heated pool for relaxing after a day exhausting yourself at 11,000 feet. "Holiday Inn Convenient to Skiing and Grocery Store"
This Holiday Inn is very convenient to Vail. They have a shuttle every 1/2 hour from 8 to 8. After that, there is a free public bus. The hotel is a little dated, but they have redone the lobby and the beds are comfortable. They have leased out the restaraurant to a sushi/asian place. While the decor in there could use an update, the food itself is excellent. […] The hot tub and steam room are awesome. They have on site massage that got good ratings for how good it was and its reasonable price. Great Deli, with good coffee and breakfast dowstairs. Safeway is a couple of stores away. Very convenient. Would stay there again. They do not offer a complimentary breakfast, but as long as you are aware of that in advance its ok. Les mer
"Good Hotel - Except for the Pillows"
This was an excellent hotel. The minute we checked in the manager was extremely courteous and got us all rooms on the same floor. The hotel is right next to a strip mall which is great especially after a long day of skiing/snow boarding. It is located very close to Lionshead village at Vail and has hourly shuttles. Also has a ski-shop within the hotel […] (with a 30% discount if you are staying at the hotel) and a fantastic jacuzzi and sauna. My one gripe with the hotel was that they had given us a room with a king size bed but with only two extremely small pillows. So sleeping was not the most comfortable. But overall for the value a good hotel to stay at in Vail if you're looking for a nice but economical place to stay. Les mer

"very bad Holiday Inn"
This Holiday Inn was in Vail Colorado, you would expect it to be of the best quality. Not so, The rooms were so noisy, paper thin walls, that I could hear every thing in the next two rooms, and the staff did nothing about it. They did not offer any ammenities, such as coffee in the loby, or breakfast etc. The main thing was the uncomfortable beds, and […] the noise. really the noise was the worst I have ever experienced. My wife and I enjoyed this hotel very much! Perfect location and easy access off Interstate 70! The Hotel is up to date and very clean. Nice hotel with the feel of a Swiss chalet mountain lodge. Good outdoor pool with indoor jacuzzi and steam room. Spacious mountain lodge type lobby and helpful staff. Good value and worth the discounted summer rate.

We come up four or five ski weekends a year. The restaurants are good, esp Japanese. ]Shuttle to Vail amazing. Remedio, the driver, very sweet. Hot tub could have been a little warmer. Outdoor heated pool was killer, esp when snowing. Breakfast service is consistently slow if you want to get on the slopes, better to go to MacDonald's. Its just a special […] experience for us. This is a decent, clean hotel, perfect for a day or two of skiing. It was great for us, there is a Sports Authority next door, and 3 different restaurants (sushi, pub, and breakfast) all attached to the hotel. "Not good for a long stay"
Good to stay for a night or two, but not very enjoyable for a longer stay because of the hotel location and simplicity. There is every 30 min. free ride from hotel to Vail village, but it feels long and inconvenient. There is a good Japanese restaurant downstairs. Blankets are too thin, pillows are not comfortable.... "Above Expectations"
I was stuck in Vail because of a blizzard. The staff was not only polite and helpful, they knew about the weather patterns and suggested that I request a late check out and stay until it warmed up. The property was clean, warm and updated, I think it would be a great place to PLAN to stay next spring.

Hotel is good for the price paid in Vail. It is a drive away from the slope, so it's not too inconvenient to drive to the parking lot and unload. There is a fee for the parking before 3pm.
