Ankommer du Dulles airport så er dette hotellet rett i nærheten. Rent og pent. 20 minutters kjøring fra flyplassen. 20 minutter til togstasjonen hvor du kan ta the shuttle rett in til hjertet av Washington. Dette anbefales da parkering kan være svært vanskelig i Washington by.

Vennlig betjening. Rent rom. Trivelig sted. Nærhet til restauranter, forretninger og særlig historiske severdigheter som var vår grunn til å stanse opp her. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

There is a gas station that sits in front of this hotel with constant car noise...if you are a light sleeper- you may need sleeping pills for your stay- would request a room on the back side.
Loved the inside pool, the breakfast. It was 20 degree outside but I was able to go swimming. Loved the stay.

there was no iron in the room. the eggs were runny, there was no hot water and they had to move us to another room, the internet did not work. my room was not cleaned when I came back to my room after being gone all day and had to call down to the front desk to request the housekeeper clean the room at 4 pm in the afternoon. get with the program folks! the […] hotel was located near everything . very convenient to the highway and restuarants and stores and military base. very clean. however the overall maintenance as mentioned above was not good. This is a beautiful hotel which is well-maintained and a great deal for the price we paid. They had hot breakfast items, a nice lobby, beautifully-decorated rooms, and a nice pool. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was fine, it was where I needed to be. A little loud outside but that would happen at any of the hotels in this location.

I thought the hotel was in a good location. I was waiting on someone to be on leave from Quantico so it was very convienant. The breakfast in the morning was nice. I didn't like that there was an initial charge on my account even after paying. my only other complaint was the beds were super uncomfortable.

For a place to stay when visiting USM Quantico base, this is a great choice.We appreciated the clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Not only is it close to the base, but every possible store and restaurant is conveniently located nearby.

Everything was nice about this hotel except for the internet, which was painfully slow. Hopefully they will get enough complaints that they'll make it faster and more reliable.

Wonderful hotel to stay in if visiting DC. Great location, easy access, great food selections close by plus a super target and starbucks.... :) Great breakfast and free wifi.... Excellent value... Would stay again....

Was in Stafford for my niece's graduation and never stayed in this brand's hotels before. I enjoyed my experience with this hotel. The only "negatives" I had were that the mattress was a bit too soft for me because I'm used to a very firm mattress, and the water pressure for the shower could have been more, but I could live with it for a weekend. The […] location was perfect for dining, shopping, and for the family activities. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and all of the staff was very friendly and courteous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was well kept, clean and quiet. A very enjoyable stay. Only negative comment: Was listed by hotels.com under "Washington D.C. and vicinity", which is quite a stretch as it is 40 miles from Washington.

"Nice stay in Stafford"
While on a roadtrip towards the Northeast, I found this hotel on this website and we gave it a chance. It's clean and the rooms were comfortable and, it's very accesible from the highway. Breakfast is included... not much offered though. All in all, it was a nice pick!

Our stay at the Wingate at Stafford, VA was great. We do not have one complaint. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was more than expected. The 24 hour coffee bar was appreciated. The continentalbreakfast was adequate. We will stay there the next time we are in the area.
Love Wingate, always stay here when traveling to Quantico for Marine business. Always clean and cozy, i sleep so well in the beds! Only complaint is the sticky carpet? But i seem to find that in every hotel....

"Tall grass"
Grass by front door was a foot high. Clock in breakfast room is 90 minutes off! Easy to fix both. Ok hotel, nothing too fancy. It worked.

"Wingate in Stafford, VA don't complain"
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with absolutely no problems with the room, the staff or any other aspect of our visit until we left and I discovered the pool water had turned my daughter's hair green. I called and complained to the staff, to let them know there was a problem with the water (we owned our own hot tub and spent the last 3months in […] a different pool without any problems with green hair) and they blew me off, and the manager never returned my call after he had conveniently "stepped out" when I was directly on the line. Had the manager called me back, I would have no problem at all with this hotel but I had a complaint, I wanted someone to hear me and no one did. My daughter is 5 and has lovely white-blonde hair that is now tinged at the ends with a flourescent green colour. A quick google search told me the solution to the problem, which I was going to tell the manager but, as I said, he didn't bother to return my call. Incidentally, the green colour is from a build up of copper in the waters of the pool and hot tub, easily remedied by a chelating agent (pronounced Key-lating) or simply changing the water more frequently. Easy fix and no green hair for the blondies. so if you or your kids are very fair, don't use the pool or hot tub at this hotel... Les mer

Nice location, friendly staff. Little bit of a drive to DC, but close enough to first Metro stop (Franconia-Springfield) that didn't make it too much of a hassle. Would likely stay again next trip to DC.

For those visiting Marines at Quantico, this is a great value! Very close and quick to the base, convenient to shopping and eateries; breakfast (hot) and cookies in the afternoon. My only complaint was that the shuttle options were limited from DC airport.

Nice Stay, The Staff was very Courtious, and Attentive. The room was very clean, and comfortable, the only exception were the Bed pillows. Great location, very close to everything!!!

If you are staying in Stafford for any type of commencement activities I would recommend this hotel to all. Close to the I-95 (not that it ever moves fast anyway) and several shopping and dining options.
