Pene, rene og svært romslige rom med det meste av fasiliteter. Hotellet nytt og fint. Fin beliggenhet nær stranden, men litt stille på vinterstid. Forkosten var typisk amerikansk og ikke spesielt sunn. Alt i alt fornøyd med oppholdet!

Me and my wife stayed at the Pelican for one night when road tripping south from San Francisco. Fantastic rooms and great service! Nothing much to do in the immediate surrounding area but hiking next to the beach, but a good place to stay for a shorter period of time! Full hot breakfast included!

"Sea Air Hotel Morro Bay"
Older hotel, but clean and very close to the waterfront. Could use a few minor repairs, but good quality for the money. Coffee, juice, rolls, muffins and even cereal in the lobby for breakfast.
"Convenient Nightmare"
Look honestly it wasn't the worst hotel known to man, but it certainly wasn't the best. Pictures on the definitely did the hotel's overall look a major service. The place needs a perk up, old paint, our lock on our door didnt work, the lobby smelled like someone blew up a curry time bomb. The only saving grace of the hotel is that the people staying […] there werent bad, the hotel guy was nice, and its in a nice part of town really close to food, the sights and whatever you really want to do in little ol morro. "Sea Air Inn..never again!"
After checking in we went to the room, the table next to the door looked nice, but when we sat a small item on it it almost collappsed...the room had a joint room door and we could hear everything from the room next to us...I went back to office and ask for other room, felt like I border the guy and he was kind of rude...i refused to stay and just packed […] up and left...I know it's not a pricy place, but a smile and willingnes to help would had gone a long way...I worked in this business for over 20 years and if anybody would have acted like that where I worked...the pinl slip would be in their hand in minutes...found a very nice clean and QUITE hotel just two blocks away...with friendly stuff, great rooms and a friendly envoirment! The room was clean but ready for an update. It was a great value. It was very close to the waters edge in Morro Bay. Just a short walk to the Embarcadero. I would stay there again. I asked the front counter rep if there was a room on the second floor facing Morro Rock when I checked in and he said "no". The couple that manage this hotel are super. The room was basic but I brought a lot of things from home. I felt the ocean breeze thru the window and could hear sea gulls and seal barking at night. Very enjoyable stay.
"Nice place close to the beach"
This motel was nice enough. Good locations near the sea front and close to shops / restaurants etc. Breakfast included, which was cakes / cereal and tea/coffee. Rooms were clean but lacked the basics for a self catering traveler. They had no fridge or microwave, and were really cold! We didn't have an adjustable heater, so spent most our time wrapped […] in the duvet!! It's a nice place to stay in the summer, but unless those heaters are sorted, I wouldn't recommend in the cold months!!! Les mer
"Paper thin Walls"
To make it quick, The room was alright, The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and useable. The only real problem was the walls and ceiling are not insulated well. We heard our upstairs neighbor every morning at about 6:30am walking all over his room. Our 2nd night there were some guest who came in the room next to us room 101 and we could hear everything […] they were saying all the way untill about 3am. They were not loud or unruly, the walls are just not insulsted properly or thick enough.We were even able to hear the person they were talking to on there cell phone in speaker mode. I banged on the wall once and they seemed to try to quiet their talk down a little but they really just were not talking that loud as it was. Horrible night of sleep. Now I know next time we go to Morro bay we will get a room at another Hotel. Maybe pay alot more because bottom line we go on vacation to get rest and it was not accomplished here at all. Les mer

not bad but great for the money the loby stinks really bad good thing i only had to go there 3 times i felt that i stunk like it.
It was a really nice hotel considering how cheap it was. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the location was absolutely incredible! It was seriously a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the waterfront and located pretty much in the middle of downtown Morro Bay, surrounded by neat little shops and cafes. It's super easy to get to and from Hwy 1 to the hotel […] too. The only disadvantage was how thin the walls were. You could hear everything going on nextdoor. And this might just be my personal taste, but their cleaner smelled sort of funky. Otherwise I really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for people who just want an affordable place to stay at in a beautiful, convenient location. Les mer

The room was clean but you could hear your neighbors and especially hear others turning on their showers. With that, people were generally quiet and the stay was pleasant. My only issue is when I told the maid I didn't need maid service. I went out for a walk and when I came back, not only was my door standing wide open but ALL hotel room doors were […] standing wide open with only one adult and a teen attending to them. Can they not open one room at a time? Since I went for a walk, I left my purse in the room, not to mention camera and computer. Coming back to see all doors wide open while they were working in one room was unnerving. I asked why my door was open when I told her I didn't need service, her explanation was that I was gone and the sign was not on the door. The sign she referred to is ASKING for maid service. No sign means no service needed which again, why was my door open? ugh The location of this hotel is perfect. It's close to everything and again, the room was clean. If not for them doing what I asked them NOT to do and seeing them leave all doors open, I would've considered staying there again. Les mer
"it's a local motel..."
and if you walk in understanding that, you will be fine. the place is getting a bit run down, so if time marches on without some cash inflow, could be worse. i wouldn't take the new girlfriend, but was satisfied with what i got for the price. room was clean for the most part (but the old gas wall heater hadn't been dusted for awhile). i had no issues […] with the front desk and they seemed nice whenever i spoke to them. location is solid, but morro bay is a small place anyways. "Great location, thin walls"
This is a nice motel, nothing fancy, but good for its class. The room is comfortable, real glass tumblers and ceramic coffee cups. Friendly staff. The walls are thin! You can hear soft conversations next door. The location is terrific, one block from Main Street and just a 5 minute descent to the touristy Embarcadero.
"Good Bargain"
The room was a little shabby and outdated. But the location was ideal and it was very inexpensive plus we had an ocean view. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean but the carpet was dirty. The continental breakfast wasn't great. Eat at one of the many diners in the area instead.

i stayed at this motel for two nights, Sun - Tues. There were very few other guests so it was very quiet. The central location is one block from all the waterfront restaurants and shops and is surrounded by many, more expensive motels. The rate was unbelievable for the great room I had. Very clean, comfortable, and everything worked. Good shower but […] a small bathroom. I have stayed at worse motels that charged 4 times as much as I paid here. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast so I can't comment on that. I would definitely stay there again. How can you lose? Les mer

"Great Location, otherwise...NO."
The man who ran the place was rude. We got a great last minute rate but what we paid is what we got. The room and linens felt icky. the place was SOOOOO COLD!! we had been camping on the beach the nights before and were colder in the hotel room! We went to find out about getting some heat and the man told us that we needed to light the pilot-- we did […] not have matches and neither did we...pointless. light the pilot---really? great location, close to ocean and downtown, but next time id just continue camping--- i guess we just paid for the shower which was what we needed. "A Barely Motel"
The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors talking in the next room. We were unfortunate to have to listen to talkative neighbors until late at night. The bathroom is so tiny that you can hardly turn 360 degrees.
"Needs updating and Maintanance"
It surely could use some up keeping and cleanliness. The reception area stunk like curry and the bathroom in the room wasn't particularly clean. I wouldn't have eaten the included breakfast solely because of how untidy and dirty it looked around the area to feel it was safe to consume food.

"Good for the Price"
This motel is good for the price. Don't expect any extra's. If you are planning on just a place to sleep at night this is perfect. If you plan to be hanging in the room a bit I would not chose this motel. But when I buy it you all will like it better.

The walls were very thin and we could hear talking and TV through the walls - all night long.

When checking into the Sea Air Inn, I assumed it would be like other hotels, they didn't ask for an ID or even a vehicle number. (They have no security measures) The sink was semi-clogged, and two of the lights were out so the room remained dim the whole stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless you plan on having a party and couldn't care less […] . Les mer

Not at all happy with my room. No a/c so must open windows for any cool...noisy, hole in screen, etc. Continental breakfast starts at 7:30 am?????? At all other motels I stay at, b'fast begin 6 to 6:30 am. Went up the street. Room generally just not very nice. "Ran down cheap hotel"
From the outside of this hotel I thought the rooms would be spacious and enjoyable. From the moment I walked in the door the carpet looked so dirty I didn't want to take off my shoes and the pillow cases were stained and dirty with hairs all over it! Disgusting! The walls were so thin I could hear the room next door snoring and the room above me fight […] and argue all night! Don't waste your money! Save it and go somewhere nicer Les mer
