No, this is not a 5-star hotel, but yes, if you are looking for a quiet motel with the very basics, you can find it here. AC not too noisy, quite clean room, very comfortable bed.

The place is shabby but clean. I would opt to spend slightly more for an upgrade in the future, even on a limited budget.

Convenient location in Palo Alto. The room was moderately comfortable, but austere. The motel staff were not friendly at all. Beware what they call a "complimentary" breakfast: coffee that you have to make in your room; a bottle of OJ in the fridge, and a dismal piece of sugar-infused pastry in a plastic wrapper. We enjoyed it. Ask the front lobby to tell you how to operate the shower. Free "continental breakfast" is oj in d fridge and pastries in the room. Wah wah wah

In the expensive Silicon Valley area ABV is a good economy choice in a very convenient location. Strictly no frills but clean with friendly service and a decent bed. El Camino can be noisy so pick a room near the back.

The inn is conveniently located in Palo Alto. The room was quiet and very nice. There was some hair left on the bathroom floor and in a towel or two, so the cleaning staff could pay more attention to that. It would be useful to have instructions in the bathroom about how to turn on the shower, since it's unique and I couldn't figure it out. It was clean and bed was comfortable. My room was next to the road, which was noisy, as it is next to a busy road. Also the room above me was very noisy, so it was hard to sleep.

I was only there for the night, checked in after midnight, and was gone by 8 the next morning. So, for that much, the hotel did the job. I was able to sleep and everything seemed clean enough. Nothing spectacular.

Not a bad hotel - was surprised since not very appealing upon entering.

Staff pleasant. Easy to get to event that I was attending @ Stanford. Though continental breakfast was juice and prepackaged danish, there was an awesome little family friendly restaurant 2 doors down-- with very good coffee cake. Very personable

Stayed three nights and was very pleased. Centrally located, very clean, helpful staff, pleasanat enough rooms. Not 5 star, but more than adequate. Breakfast was sweetrolls and tropicana 100% juice left in rooms. Microwave and fridge, which I stocked with snacks. Staff printed several pages for me for a conference. WiFi worked fine in room.

Would not tell anyone while she is a mgr, Needs to have better customer relation skills and ATTITUDE

America's Best Value Inn - Sky Ranch is an easy drive to Stanford. It is nothing fancy but certainly clean & adequate. There is even a small refrigerator & microwave inroom. It seems that all hotels in the area are expensive so I am not sure if this is exactly a "best value" but it is in line with the others I looked at.

If you get there late you may end up with a single bed. It looks like a cheap motel on the outside but the room are very clean. Bed was bumpy, definitively not pillow top. Breakfast not, room coffee maker and 2 little danish. Overall it was ok.

The Sky Ranch Motel in Palo Alto is a gem - a classic motel that provides the basics - clean room, convenient location and great value for money. No frills and few amenities but that is part of the deal in delivering great value for money in a great location where other options would cost 3 to 4 times more.

Easy Access to shopping area and food. Not far from the Hospital, where we were doing testing with out baby. Clean rooms, breakfast nothing to write home about, but something for the belly nonetheless. Front Desk was friendly. We will go back, for the price it was really good. Everything else in the area is rediculously overpriced.

This motel isn't flashy, but it does what it says on the tin. I had a good stay here, it was good value, and I'd recommend it.
