Helt ok, men litt dyrt til standarden. Sengene var veldig små, til tross for at vi hadde bestilt kong size.. Hotellet lå rett ved hovedveien og air-conditionen bråkte veldig.

Not only was the hotel a great stay, but the staff were extremely knowledgable of the area and the most friendly people ever.

Due to its proximity to UCLA medical center, I have been a guest at Hotel Angeleno many times. I find it to be consistently reliable with good service. Everyone from the parking attendants to the front desk to the bartenders are friendly and helpful. Rooms are not large, but each has a balcony. It's located just off the busy 405 freeway, so request […] a room on a high level, away from the freeway side, if its available. Also, ask the front desk attendant for a set of earplugs (they used to provide them, not sure if they still do.) Overall I enjoyed my short stay. Would have stayed longer if it weren't for the numerous maintenance problems with the room. I was too tired to complain so I just had to deal with it.

The hotel did not look as it was pictured on the website, not very aesthetically pleasing. Very noisy, right along side the freeway.

We had a great stay here. The staff was very friendly, especially the valet guys who were very patient with us and our toddler! The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding. The hotel is conveniently located, but there is not a ton within comfortable walking distance and there is currently a lot of construction going on around the 405. Despite […] the hotel's proximity to the 405, we did not have an issue with noise. Our room faced the hills and the Getty Center so we only heard minimal noise and it was actually great white noise to help our toddler sleep! We would definitely stay here again. Les mer

Having lived in LA for 8 years and always wondering what this former Holiday Inn looked like on the inside, I jumped at the chance to stay at the Hotel Angeleno as an L.A. visitor. The place has a Euro-cool vibe--very serene and sophisticated lobby, and the rooms are nicely styled. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The problems I have with […] the hotel are all car-related, as is my main issue with L.A. itself. For one, the endless roadwork on the 405 by Sunset makes it nearly impossible to even get to the hotel anywhere near rush hour. One day I abandoned trying, opting instead to stay out all day and into the evening rather than clean up back at the hotel. Also, the valet-only option is a bit annoying, but not unusual for a mid-scale hotel in L.A. Finally, be sure to request a high floor in advance: I was on the 2nd, which meant I was level with the 405. Noisy and not very scenic. But on the whole I do recommend the Hotel Angeleno! Les mer

I don't think you could find a better place to stay if visiting The Gety Museum. In addition, it is well located for access to freeway and to get to West Side LA attractions. Staff are very nice and the hotel is too.

Stayed here on a girls weekend. Picked the hotel due to its location. I have stayed here before & the hotel is very nice. Quaint boutique hotel located well to surrounding areas although my friend complained of the road noise as you are right by the freeway. Great pool area. Staff for the most part was friendly & helpful. Cocktails at West were fun. […] Only downside was our breakfast the next day. Mine was undercooked. My friend's overcooked. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. Room was great. The bed was incredible. The valet parking crew are a well greased machine. No matter how busy they were, they were wonderful & smiling, even when people weren't very nice. Big kudos to them! We would def stay there again!

i have stayed here a couple of times and have had a great time every time. everyone is friendly and helpful. i was so tired and they let me check out late without hassle. only complaint i have is that a warning on the status of the freeways being closed would have been nice.

The Hotel staff was great. They treated our 7 year old like royalty. I would recommend the brunch at the West restaurant. The pool was beautiful and so was the view from the room. The location is great too.

The staff was very friendly, valet parking was a plus, attendants always got the car on time. The restaurant on the 17th floor has an amazing view and the food is great!! I will def go back there.

Pros: Very affordable, and you can't beat free valet and wifi in LA! The room had a small balcony and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I ordered room service and got my meal in about 20 minutes. Cons: It's right by the 405 and you can hear the constant roar of traffic, even from the 15th floor. Hotel Angeleno was an okay hotel. A little spendy for what they had to offer, but it is LA. The absolute worst part was the freeway noise. You are literally right over the 405 freeway and you hear freeway noise all the time. The rooms were a little smaller than I'd imagined, course we got the double. The bathroom is so small that you have to pull yourself […] next to the bathtub in order to get the door closed. Room was very comfortable. Air conditioner was terribly noisy. It actually sounded like a huge waterfall. This was good because it drowns out the traffic noise from the 405 right below the hotel.

Since it is so close to the freeway the rooms are not very well insulated so guests should take ear plugs to be able to sleep. They offer a complimentary wine tasting but the wine is so "cheap" I would not offer such wine to any of my guests. The shuttle driver took us to the Getty and told us to call when we were ready for a pick up, but it could be a little wait if he was at the hospital. We called at 4:00 and were told by the hotel staff that we had needed a reservation and the shuttle would not be able to pick us up until 6:30. We decided to call a cab and after 1/2 wail, ended up taking […] the public bus which stopped right outside the hotel. This is a convenient location that is close to UCLA and right off of 405. The daily wine tasting was great and one day there was even fillet mignon bites to go with the wine! The only negative was the first day there were only two bath towels on the rack, no face towels, and the maid left the hand towels on the counter. No bath mat so it was hard getting […] out of the shower. The cabinets in the bathroom showed signs of wear-n-tear that I didn't expect. The hotel was not worth the money, very overpriced, small room and LOUD! We stayed in a double bedded room, the hotel was right off the freeway so at night we heard the ruckus outside from the construction and in the morning we were woken up by the sound of cars driving down the highway. if you don't plan to stay exclusively in the room and the hotel it's a good value with friendly service and clean rooms. The location is good next to the highway with minimal or no annoying sounds from the traffic.

Really liked this hotel. There are very few that are so close to the Getty, UCLA, Brentwood, Beverly Hills and Bel Aire.

I had read other reviews prior to booking my reservation, and only one commented on the closeness to the freeway saying that it was not noisy. Unfortunately, I did not realize it until I was in bed and turned the TV off to go to sleep, but it is noisy to me. I live in a quiet place, so it may be different for others. Lovely hotel. Hit and miss with the staff. Most were helpful and friendly. Very comfy bed but take your ear plugs as this hotel is next to a busy freeway. There were night time roadworks below during my stay which added to the noise level.

Hotel was great but construction outside our room began after 10:00pm and kept us up till around 2 or 3 am. The entire building shook as the road was being torn up. Nice pool and restaurant .

Great Hotel, room was nice and clean, bed was awesome, towels were a little old could have been newer, but the biggest drawback was the noise from the freeway and freeway construction. Noise was constant all night long.

Hotel itself was great. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Our room had a very large bathroom. In general, the only negative was the freeway noise (which we anticipated and is really just white noise you start to tune out).
