Veldig stilig hotell, tøff arkitektonisk og pene rom. Små minus på rommet er en dusj som lekker slik at man må tørke en vannpytt etterpå, samt en lite kald minibar. Altså bare bagateller. Bra rengjøring. Grei service på hotellet, men intet mer enn hva vi ba om. Noen ganger er jo det helt ålreit. Frokosten er dyr og asketisk. Varmretter må man betale tillegg for. Men den er likevel å foretrekke fremfor de elendige restaurantene og frokostmenyene på la rambla (hold dere unna all mat på la rambla). Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Kort oppsummert et hotell som absolutt er fire stjerner verdig. Stilige rom. Anbefales.

Jeg og min mann overnattet på Alexandra hotell i forbindelse med 4 dagers miniferie til Barcelona. Hotellet hadde ypperlig plassering i forhold til både serverdigheter, shopping og restauranter. Kan anbefale restaurant Cervecería Catalana som ligger 1 minutt fra hotellet (Mallorca 236), her har de nydelig tapas! Ellers var personalet strålende, både i resepsjonen og i baren. De kan mye om byen og snakker godt engelsk. Rommet er moderne inredet og vi fikk en liten balkong der vi kunne nyte morgen solen. Dusjen er herlig, med stor "overhead" dusjhode. Eneste minus må være at sengen var litt hard. Barcelona er en fantastisk by og et opphold på Hotel Alexandra kan absolutt anbefales som et godt utgangspunkt.

Veldig OK hotell, reint og ryddig på alle måtar. God service, engelsktalande personar i resepsjonen og delvis i restauranten i tilknytning til hotellet. God mat i restauranten, også frukosten. Kort veg til metro og ca 5 min å gå frå togstasjonen. Stasjonen er tredje stopp frå flyplassen. Rolege omgivnader, sjølv om hotellet ligg sentralt. Ein liten park framfor hotellet. Parken har eit inngjerda område for hundar. Litt bjeffing, men berre koseleg. Kan gjerne anbefale dette hotellet!

Hotellet lå sentralt til i Barcelona, rimelig pris og veldig god service. Hotellbetjeningen snakket bra engelsk, noe som ikke er vanlig i Barcelona. Rommet var av god størrelse og inneholdt alt man trenger for en weekendtur. Sengene er ganske harde, men for et par netter er dette ikke et problem. Meget sentalt beliggenhet, med kort gåavstand til det meste.. Ligger rett ved metro... Rommet var ikke noe å utsette på, men kunne alikevel hatt en lenestol på rommet.. Frokost var fantastisk, og det var mye forskjellig å velge i.. God oppskjært frukt.. I forhold til pris, beliggenhet og frokost utvalg, vil jeg faktisk putte på 1 stjerne, til ett **** […] hotell... "Spør om kliamanlegget på rommet fungerer!"
Vi (4) hadde to dobbeltrom i 6. etg. Ett vendt mot bakgården, som hadde svært lite støy. Rommet mot hovedgata var noe plaget av utrykningskjøretøy/støy fra sirener. Generelt hadde hotellet en positivt overraskende høy standard ift pris! Meget god frokost til 9 euro! Men....klimaanlegget på rommene fungerte SVÆRT DÅRLIG. Og de "fyrer" utrolig hardt om […] vinteren (primo februar). Temperaturen var plagsomt høy, selv på natta med full åpning på vinduer. Uten temperatur reguleringsproblemene, ville jeg anbefale hotellet ! Les mer
"Lett å finne"
Hotellet ligger omtrendt midt på Avenida Paralelo, som er en bred hovedgate som strekker seg ned mot havneområdet Port Vell, hvor Las Rablas også begynner. Hotellet har parkering i kjelleren, men her bør man kun ha en liten bil, da det er forholdvis trangt.

"Silken Concordia - more than a 3* hotel"
Clean room and mostly very friendly staff (some exceptions, though) made this a pleasant stay. I was able to check in early (8am) and check out (late). The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff made coffee from the espresso machine on request. No complaints really. I would happily stay there again.

"dusty but central"
Stayed in room 604. The room needs paint because of water damage. The room was dusty. The bed lamps did not work and it took two days to get them fixed. Some of the staff in the reception was qualified and helpful. But others where not. The hotel has a metro station just outside and the neighborhood does not have many tourists. Started off by a non-working safe in the room, but receptionist was very friendly and helped me out by replacing the batteries. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very noisy as it seemed to be located next to the heating or washing room (don't know), which gave quite some background noise. On the same […] floor was the base for the cleaning people, which caused quite some noise in the early morning, which made me wear my earplugs throughout most of my stay. There is free internet (www only), although you have to enter user/pass every time you use it. Breakfast buffet is nice, but rather expensive at nine eur-os. Completely uncomparable to a three-course lunch menu for nine eur-o in most local bars/restaurants. Except for the noise, I would definitely recommend the hotel! Les mer
"met beyond my expectations"
the front entrance was very welcoming compared to the neighbourhood it was in, although we were just one stop away from Espanya, where the magic fountains were. when we got in our rooms, look very modern. Air condition worked great. TV was huge, beds were clean. Bathroom was big and clean and good, powerful running hot water. very conveniently located […] near the subway Poble Sec, just a one minute walk and less, but just be careful which exit you get out from. Stores close around the hotel pretty early. only thing open at night was the gas station. Overall, hotel room was awesome, felt safe, clean and had a very enjoyable sleep. Definitely will recommend it to people. oh, to get there, take Aerosop Bus, the airport shuttle to Espanya then subway to the next stop Poble Sec...or if you want, you can walk to the the hotel, took us around 15 min or so so not too bad. oh last thing that i was impressed is the stuff they had in the washroom including toothbrush and a small sewing kit. they TV had a lot of channels too, and good lighting in the room Plus free wifi!! Not as close to the main street Las Ramblas or to the good beach as advertised but still a very great hotel. These places are accessible by walking for about 30 minutes but the buses/metro might be a better idea. However, this hotel is really close to the Magic Fountain and sports arena.

This hotel was wonderful. I have nothing bad to say at all! It was stylish, comfortable, the staff friendly. The location was great - quiet but close to everything.

The hotel was great - a large and very clean room with a fridge (great when you're self catering!!!). It was a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Metro ride to down town. Definitely a great choice!!!

This hotel is away from the famous touristy spots but is just across from the Poble Sec Metro Station. Walking north from the hotel will take you to Placa Espana. Walking south from the hotel will take you to Drassaness and the cruise terminals.

The hotel was just a block away from the metro. Very friendly staff and food at the hotel was good. The room was also quite spacious. I would stay at this hotel again.

if you want a comfy bed then do NOT stay here!!! bed feel like cardboard. they do look really nice in the picutre but in reality they are horrible. the room were extremely clean and very nice but if you are looking for comfort or warmth do not stay here. also beware of the shower. the curtain will continue to hugg you while you shower... it is scary […] and not comfortable while taking a shower. the location is a bit far from where you want to be but not horrible. if you are staying somewhere on a budget this place is not bad. the front desk is soooo friendly, the rooms are nice, very clean so overall not bad. We took a red bus 46 from the Barcelona airport upon the advice of a fellow reviewer. It took us a good 15 mins of rolling our luggage down the road after alighting from the last stop. A good way to save money but only do this if you have manageable baggage cos it is quite a distance to walk. The hotel is on the same side as the bus stop. We arrived […] earlier than the official check in time but the hotel staff was nice enough to let us have a room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning only works in the evening so the afternoon was hot and stuffy in the room. We had to open the window to let in the cool air which was an acceptable solution. Great amenities and lots of eateries around the neighbourhood. We found a good Chinese restaurant, Dongling about 5 mins walk across the road, left of the hotel. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Small room and hard bed as expected in a European hotel. But all this we expect. Our only complaint was the room was very hot. Neither the heat or air was turned on. The window was locked and the front desk could not help at night. So the next day a maintenance man helped get it open only to realize it opened about 6 inches […] and did not help. The heat made it really uncomfortable. Besides that it was fine. The location was great short walk to subway and tour buses and restaurants. Les mer

A clean hotel with 20min access to le Ramblas to the right and Pl Espanyol to the left. However, pls note that the hotel does not have money changing service & the closest one you could find was at Le Ramblas.

The staff were very helpful and friendly our room was ready when we arrived also it is opposite the metro station .there are loads of tapas bars and restaurants in the area plus it is only a 10 minute walk to las ramblas.Also when we checked out our room the hotel looked after our luggage for us.

Its very central (15Mins walk to Las Ramblas) and the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained with airy comfortable rooms and a very reasonable rate.We have been twice already and will stay again on our next visit to this fantastic city.

Clean modern hotel with pleasant & accommodating staff. However the location of the hotel is a bit rough, the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, however it is just a 20 min walk to La Rambla and there is a Metro station just across the road. Rooms weren't well sound proofed so the street traffic was quite loud. But for the price I could not complain.

"Wonderful location, good service, clean room!"
We picked this hotel because of its location. It is close to the metro and to major tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable. The breakfast was OK. The room was comfortable and clean-I am very sensitive to odors and this room was odor-free! We liked the firm mattress. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was in a good location (near a metro, walking distance to ramblas, and easy to get taxis from the main road). Romms were clean, and we were very happy, especially given the price. Would definitely return.

Staff were friendly although we didnt speak to them tooo much. Location was perfect as was only 2 metro stops or about 15 minute walk from La Ramblas. Hotel was nice overall. Bed was very comfortable and the price was perfect compared to other near by hotels. The location is a bit of a walk to Ramblas if thats what your looking to get into. Otherwise its right next to the metro which is super convient. I enjoyed my stay here!

"Un très agréable séjour"
L'Hôtel Silken Concordia est selon moi un des meilleurs hôtels où j'ai séjourné. L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est à l'écoute et soucieux de votre bien être, les espaces communs ainsi que les chambres sont très propres, bien agencées. L'hôtel dispose d'un restaurant mais également d'une cafétéria avec un grand choix. A proximité, se trouvent […] des commerces, cafés, supermarkets et une très bonne boulangerie ainsi que les transports en commun (métro et bus, le 57 par exemple qui vous dépose devant la plage) donc une très bonne situation géographique. Je recommande vivement l'hôtel Silken Concordia. Les mer
