Kjempesentralt hotell i Gamlebyen,men godt gjemt resepsjon i hotellet Måtte gå gjennom en restaurant :/ Et stort minus var at det var veldig støyete.Vi bodde i 4 etg i et 4 mannsrom og sov dårlig hver natt :( Men som sagt : utrolig sentralt til alt og superfin by!!! Husk at taxien ikke kan kjøre helt frem til hotellet.

Hotel Maximillian er et hotel utenom det vanlige! Hotellet har en sjarmerende og hyggelig betjening, en ubeskrivelig frokost og sist men ikke minst; en beliggenhet som best kan beskrives som "midt i smørøyet", men likevel skjermet og i rolige omgivelser. Frokosten er nevnt, med det meste av utvalg pluss litt til (oppskåret frukt i mange varianter, franske oster osv). I tillegg til dette har de en egen meny der du kan bestille bl.a. omelett (bestem selv ingrediensene), egg i alle variasjoner, frisk smoothie osv. osv. Hotellet tilbyr organisert joggetur to ganger i uka for mogenfulgler (starter 07:15). Her tar en av de ansatte med interesserte gjester på en kombinert treningstur og sightseeing der treneren oppleves som en fullbefaren guide med detaljerte kunnskaper om byen. Topp! Vel verdt å nevne er også hotellets bar. Honesty Bar mangler bartender, og gjestene selv inviteres til å forsyne seg av alt fra cognac og wiskey, øl og vin, til kaffe og kaker eller bare et glass vann. Skriv deretter opp hva du har tatt og romnummer, så kommer det på regningen. Alltid hyggelig å bli stolt på. Hotell Maximillian var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi storkoste oss i Praha. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!!!

Flott hotel med sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei til gamlebyen, og ingen støy om natten. God frokost og trivelig betjening. Hvis du ikke ønsker å benytte minibaren er det en kiosk 20 meter fra hotellet, med særdeles gode priser.

Veldig greit hotell,passe gåavstand til sentrum. Ble vel ikke imponert av fasaden,og inngangen,men rommene var rene og pene,Gode senger!!
Hotellet ligger sentralt med gangavstand til sentrum og metro like ved.Men siden det ligger i en gate med mye trafikk kan dette oppleves forstyrrende,ikke aircondition på rommet og det var veldig varmt,vindu kunne ikke være åpent pga støy fra gata.Frokosten var heller dårlig.
"Raffaello - ok hotel, but dont take the taxis"
Raffaello was an ok hotell, but closer to 3 stars than 4. The breakfast was passable, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was nice that the rooms were quiet even though there was lots of noise in the street. The location is quite central but you should know how to use the public transport system to get the most out of it. For some strange reason […] the elevator stops are in the middle between two floors, so If you need to use it it will not help you much (you still have to walk a stair). The biggest disappointment was the "taxi" the hotel booked for us to the airport. It was just a guy in his personal car, but as he was from the hotel we did not balk. We were told the price was 650 Kc, but they driver wanted 700 Kc at the end of the trip. Of course, he parked in front of the airport with lots of cars and buses waiting in line behind him and started hurrying the guests so that you would not argue. Its not much money (50 Kc is about 2 EUR/USD), and I am sure the taxi driver has a convinient excuse - helping with bags, the "meter" (there was none) showed 700, waiting time, express-charge, toll money, "it was tips" or something similar, but its annoying and rude to say in the least. And of course there is no receipt. To be fair, this is a very common practice as I know it has happened to other guest taking private "taxis" from other hotels. So rather use a proper company (there is a "fair price" taxi stand at I.P pavlova very close to the hotel) or use the excellent public transport - yellow line to Zlicin, bus 100 to airport to get to the airport. Would have been excellant if a coffee making facilities been included. Ideal location right adjacent Pavola metro station. Tram 22 takes you to Charles Bridge & Castle area. Would stay here again as it was great for public transport links around the city. Enjoyed our day out at the zoo. "Walking distance to Prague City Center"
The location of this hotel is perfect. It's about a ten minute walk to old town or you can hop on the metro (station is on street corner). I would definitely stay there again. The staff is friendly and had good recommendations for things to do around town.
"Hotel Raffaello: Good location but poor management"
Somehow this hotel has 4 stars but in fact this is not even 2 stars. Be prepared to carry your luggage through steps (one floor) from the entrance to the elevator. In your room, you will not find a desk or table and chairs, so the only way to work with the computer is to stay in the bed. But the most surprising discovery in that hotel was the bathroom. […] You will not find a shower curtain there. You will not be able to attach the shower on the regular hight either. So instead of relaxing shower you might feel very uncomfortable sitting in the bath-tub in restrained position and trying to prevent flooding. If you will be outside walking in beautiful Prague under cold fall or winter weather, and then you come back to your room and want to make a cup of hot tea or coffee you will be disappointed. There are no electric kettle or coffeemaker available in the room. Also you can't borrow it from the reception. They just don't have it. So you better go somewhere around (KFC or McDonalds) to get your warm beverage. The positive things in the hotel is that the stuff is friendly and maids clean the room very well. But the management of the hotel is very cheap and inappropriate. You will see very old carpets, drapery and bed covers. The room has a fridge and the safe, so at least this is good. If you need an iron, you can borrow it at the reception. Overall, we would not stay there if we would be aware ahead of time. Les mer
Me and my girlfriend staid at this hotel for 6 nights. The first step into the room was like wow, it was clean inside and the room was nice. I did not expected that for its low price. The bathroom was in very good condition. And the hotel seemed quite until the evening. It was about 9 p.m when the bar right behind the hotel was opened. People came to […] watch some soccer game, they were screaming, cheering and singing until 01 a.m. It repeated almost every night. We had the same breakfast every morning without any little change :-( Kind of boring. On the second day of our stay we wanted to get some information from a reception girl. I wanted to know about some places in Prague and near it. The answer that we've got was:" I don't know, I can not help you." She didn't even try to help us. Les mer
"Amazing weekend in Prague"
This hotel is a perfect point to start exploring Prague.. Location is great.. city centre and castle can be easily reached by tram.. and for those that don't mind walking, then old town is not that far. Room was comfortable, I had a great night sleep, but my partner complained about the mattress, too hard for him. A great 4 star hotel, no less no more. "Great location, great hotel staff, great price"
This hotel provided an excellent location (next to Metro, 15 minutes walking from conference center and down-town sights. There were some minor niggles (small repairs to room, WIFI was a bit weak), but the excellent breakfast, friendly staff, price and - again - great location more than made up for this. Rooms were nice and quiet at night.
"Fair accomodations"
Hotel was nice and we really liked the balcony we had. Only set back was that it was a little further from the tourist sites than I expected. However, city center is a fairly easy walk and if not in walking mood, a metro station is within 200 feet.
"A hidden gem"
On a very busy street but generally quiet inside, this hotel was a bit of a surprise. We chose it as we arrived early in Prague and our preferred hotel was full. Frankly, we wish we'd stayed in the Raffaello for our whole visit. Yes, it is a bit out of the tourist action, but that made the bars and restaurants more local - and a bit cheaper. "A Good Stay"
Don't judge this hotel from a Google map picture. Once inside, it was clean, charming, up to date, with very accommodating staff. They helped plan our excursions in Prague. We could book and pay for the excursions at the front desk with pick at the hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and knew how to make us feel at home. Prague is a great city […] and we would like to come back because of the friendly people and the many more sites to see. Elevators went to the half floor, but not a problem unless you need handicap accessible. Les mer
"Good Hotel, but Avoid the Breakfast"
Not crazy about the location, as it is one of the few areas of Prague which is not well maintained, but the rooms in the hotel are comfortable, and large. Just avoid the breakfast. If not entirely, just stick with the coffee, tea, juice, bread, and butter. It may be free, but you will pay the price later.

This is a very nice hotel with reasonable rates in a convenient location. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. About the only minor downside is that there is sometimes some noise from the busy street it is located on, but that was not a significant issue for us.
"Look elsewhere - Not a good experience"
I am usually the type to not put a bad review out there after a bad experience, but will usually just let it lie. However, I want to share with people what I wish people would have shared with us. Arrival: This is not too far from the main train station that we arrived at. (Hlavani). We appreciated this, and the fact that it is close to a subway/metro. The […] area that we were in was suspect, and despite having lived in some rough areas at various times in my life, we felt uneasy, but figured it would be fine. Check in: This was easy enough, and the gentleman was nice enough. It took only about 3 minutes. Room: This is where it got ugly. I really don't hope to sound like a nasty person as I write this. We entered in to what felt like a literal sauna. The room was a decent size, and with large windows. The carpet was stained, the bedding had worn holes in it, and the shower is a handheld shower head in a bathtub with now shower curtain. Immediately we both started sweating. We discovered that there was no A/C in the room. This was a bit odd, as if you pull up their website online, it states that the rooms have A/C. We went to ask the gentleman at the desk, and he just said that "he was sorry, but that is just the way it is" My wife then pulls up the website on the iPad to show him the false advertisement. He just shrugged his shoulders, and walked away as my wife was in mid-sentence. Really? We tried opening the windows, but as some other reviewers have mentioned, one of the main street in Prague is outside, and it is LOUD. We decided to give it another try...we went to dinner, and was hoping that perhaps the room would cool off as the sun went down. We returned, and were just as disappointed. For us, we don't have a ton of money to be wasting. We made the decision, though, that we had traveled a long 5000 miles, and did not want to have a miserable experience on what could be our one time coming to such a great city. The Hotel Raffaello is a nice hotel with remodeled rooms in an older building. The room was spacious, but the bathroom rather small. The hotel is located on a very busy street near the main train station, but visitors with heavy luggage need to use a taxi or other car to go to the airport because the streets are on steep terrain and the path goes through […] several underground passages to cross the busy streets. The area near this hotel has a number of good restaurants and bars. It is within (a little longer) walking distance of the Old town area. "Noisy at night"
I booked this because of the price. The hotel staff was very helpful with restaurants and directions. The rooms were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. My only complaint was when guests came in at 2, 3, 4 in the morning they were very noisy since the stairwell was not carpeted all the way up and voices echoed. "Raffaello Prague - Comfort, Charm, Convenience"
Quite close to the Old Town (about a half-hour stroll to Old Town Square), with lots to see in all directions. Deceptively plain outside and on a busy street, nevertheless once inside there is a feeling of old charm, carefully and tastefully maintained, alongside some new features. About 10 steps up to reception and to the lift, so baggage is a minor […] hassle. Only one laptop available in Reception, always in use after breakfast until guests check out. Our room was magnificent: we had booked early and got a great price on a suite on the top floor. There seems to be a central aircon system with outlets in the room, as well as an extractor in the bathroom. Could not fault the service from Reception or other staff. Nothing fazes them and they always manage to smile. Nice choice of breakfast goodies of all kinds. We would recommend strongly! Les mer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hotel Raffaello. We found the cost extremely low, so expected much lower standards than what we received. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent & the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. Its a nice hotel, not far from tube and tram stations and a few minutes from the old town centre. Its perfect for a two or seven days stay in Prague, great service and staff.

このホテルは地下鉄I.P Pavlova駅から100mほどのところにあります。I.P pavlovaは路面電車22番が止まる駅で、この22番にのればプラハ城に行けるので便利です。現地での移動はだいたい22番に乗っていたほどこの路線便利でした。部屋は広くベッドの脇にスーツケース二つは広げることができますし清潔です。シャワー室の引き戸の下に水カビが付いているところがありますが、掃除が難しい部分でしょうがないという印象です。ネットは無線LANのみですが、部屋内には電波届かずロビーまででないとネットは難しいです。朝食は美味しい、特にチーズとベーコンが良かったです。受付の人は少し無愛想ですが英語がしゃべれます。値段も安くおすすめできます。

Lage war sehr gut. Ein wenig störend die vierspurige Strasse vor dem Hotle, und die Sirenen der Rettungsfahrzeuge. Aber auch abwechslungsreich. Keine Storen oder gute Vorhänge für die Nachtverdunkelung.

Ligger centralt med gångavstånd till det mesta. Finns många restauranger i närheten. Vi hade rum mot innergården så det var tyst och lugnt. Standarden var ok, kanske inte vad jag förväntade mig av fyra stjärnor men jag är inte så kräsen och rummet var ganska fräscht och det fanns vad vi behövde. Var dock varmt på rummet så kan tänka mig att det under […] sommaren är stekhett. Frukosten var ok, fanns inte jättemkt att välja på men det som fanns var bra. Personalen var ok. Jag tycker det är ett prisvärt hotell som lämpar sig bra om syftet med resan är att se och upptäcka Prag och inte spendera jättemkt tid på hotellet, och det är ju oftast det man gör på en resa:) Les mer

Boede på hotellet 5 dage i efterårsferien 2011. Hotellet er rimeligt standard. Ikke noget at råbe hjem om, men heller ikke dårligt. Buffen var lidt kedelig ikke noget specielt, men heller ikke noget dårligt. Det bedste ved hotellet er nok beliggenheden lige op af metro og sporvogn og kun 500 m. fra hvor centrum begynder.

Relativement bien situé, cet hôtel labellisé 4 étoiles ne correspond pas à la qualité des 4 étoiles telle qu'on la connaît dans d'autres pays d'Europe. Certes, la chambre est propre mais la salle de bain est des plus spartiates: sans rideau de douche, avec uniquement un gros tube de savon, shampoing et savon pour les mains. "HOTELL RAFAELLLO i Prag."
Hotellet låg 5 minuters gångväg från tunnelbana och rälsbuss, dock efter en mycket trafikerad gata. Det gick inte att ha fönstret öppet nattetid p.g.a trafiken, då jag hade rum mot gatan. Det blev således varmt och svårt att sova. Fönstren isolerade bra mot trafikbullret. Rent och snyggt på rummet och i badrummet. Frukosten ok. Personalen vid incheckningsdisken […] vad vänliga och hjälpsamma. Hotellet hade trappor man var tvungen att gå i. Först en trappa på ca 7 steg in och upp till receptionen, när man sedan skulle gå till sitt rum var det samma antal trappsteg ner till hissen . Hissen stannade sedan mellan våningsplanen, jag bodde på våning tre och fick gå dessa 7 trappsteg antingen upp eller ner beroende på om jag kom från eller till rummet. Inte så bra när bagaget skulle ta´s med eller om man har besvär med knän/ höftleder. Men ändå ett bra hotell , väl värt vad det kostade per natt. Rökfritt på rummen och i frukostrummet, tyst och lugnt på hotellet. Les mer
"Güstiges Hotel in guter Lage für Anspruchslose"
Günstiges Hotel in guter Lage zum Zentrum und mit Super Anbindung an Metro und Straßenbahn. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht (mehr) sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten aber wir konnten uns davon ernähren. Wir wohnten in Zimmer 201, hier war die an sich weiße Duschekabine leider an vielen Ecken schwarz (Schimmel), der Badezimmerlüfter […] zog kaum noch weil zu viel Staub vor dem Gitter war. Der Teppichboden zeigte noch die Schuhsohlen von einem Vormieter, ich glaube nicht das während unserer 4 Übernachtungen gesaugt wurde. Dafür wurden die Handtücher jeden Tag gewechselt, ob man wollte oder nicht. Die Wände sind hier und da angekitscht und immer mal wieder rot (tote Mücken) und schwarz gesprenkelt. Leider ist der Schlitz unter der Eingangstür so groß das man alles drunter durch hört... Les mer

"Netter Empfang"
Für vier Sterne hätten wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Die an sich schönen Zimmer zur Straße sind sehr laut, das Frühstücksangebot spärlich und der Service in diesem Bereich lau. Hilfreich waren allerdings die Herren an der Rezeption. Gut gepflegt und sauber die Badezimmer.

"Nice hotel but hot in June"
Overall this is nice hotel with standard breakfast. But we stayed in June and it was very hot. They don't have aircon, and we can't open the windows coz' the hotel located next to a main street and very noisy at night. If you travelling in Winter and don't have a problem sleeping with noise, then you should try this one :)

Fint hotel til soveophold. En del vejtrafik, men super tæt på metro. Er midt i byen på kort tid for fågen penge. Værelse og hotel pænt rent. Et fint mediumhotel, der passer til prisen.
