Perfekt beliggenhet,god service.ok frokost. Små dobbeltrom,velg rom med balkong-3 manns rom.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. While it is not "luxurious," the room was spacious and updated. It was clean, convenient to two metro stops, and in a safe, active area not far from the center of town. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it wholeheartedly for the price, which was reasonable.

Location of this is absolutely excellent. Room was kind a small but ok for 2 night visit for a traveller. Bad thing was that it was very unclean. Pictures will lie. Hotel used to be nice looking but now 2012/04 it is very used looking and kind a dusty. Also bed was horrible. But location is the best.

Cute, comfortable hotel in the heart of Madrid. Steps to all the shopping and short walks to any of the major tourist attractions. Conveniently located with easy access to sol or opera metro stops.

Great location!!! Very quite at night as the street is closed to cars. The room was clean and modern the only down side being that the bed was very hard ( a + maybe for some). Breakfast was included as a special. It had a lot of good choices. I would definitely go back one day.

This hotel is close by a lot of spots!! Thus we can walk to most of the hot spots by ourselves, the only buses we took was to the airport!!

So we took this hotel for a 3 night stay with my wife and little child considering that its was quite centrally located. We were quite surprised that it was in a pedestrian only street which meant that we had to haul a lot of luggage for a taxi drop of on one of the main roads. Next when we checked in they were quite efficient but when we got to our […] room it was really really tiny - esp when we had asked for a king size room that could accomodate the needs of a small child too. When i asked them they only said they did not have a king size room and the hotel was over booked. I was expecting to atleast to have a kettle or some way to heat water for my child's feeds in the whole hotel and that was not possible as the kitchen was only open in the morning to serve breakfast. To add to all the complications the bathroom smelt of sewage every now and then and the staff could not fix the situation in our period of stay. Overall consider this place an option only if you dont have other reasonable options in Madrid. Les mer

Very well located. great comfort and amenities. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

The place is in the Thick of it. The infamous club JOY is 3 steps across the way. Fun convenient and we never had to buy a Metro ticket (other then our trip to the airport) Room= clean decent size for European room. Bed was VERY uncomfortable.Yes you can see into the bathroom through the glass door. Service= I want in mid July and they are seriously […] under staffed. The front desk always had 4-5 people but were great once they got to you. The one reason I would not go back was the 6 or 7 am constant noise from the cleaning crew. All morning until about 11am. They even knocked on my door with a "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging outside. Same story in the lobby when we were just drinking wine. Frantic cleaning all around us mopping around our feet. I could enjoy the place. Location= Superb!! Shopping in every direction. Clubs close by. Walking distance to the Mercado near the Plaza Mayor and the eating on Cava street. excellent location very good service the hotel was clean and the room was very nice and big (we were3 people) over all a very good experience . tip: ask for a internal room and you be able to sleep well through the noies from the street.

Although this hotel is located right on the corner of Puerta del Sol and a metro - which Madrid should brag about, great system - not much else. The staff was very rude and snobby. The beds were old and worn, curtains barely hanging on, tattered blankets and towles. This hotel offers an excellent location, central to a lot of sites and good for making your way around either side. The rooms are clean and the style is modern. Only complaint is the odd bathroom doors - they are made of frosted glass, but with an imprint of the hotel insignia in clear glass, making it see through in areas. Not much privacy therefore […] in the washroom. Breakfast is good, pretty good selection of food, although you must pay for it and not included in the cost of the room. No room service, but if you're in Madrid you shouldn't be ordering room service when so many good restaurants around. Overall good experience, if I go to Madrid again I may pay a little more for a swankier place, but this is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to rest and keep your stuff while you explore Madrid. My sisters and I were spending a long weekend in Madrid and we could not have picked a better hotel. It was literally half a block from the Plaza del Sol and the Plaza Oriente. It was a litle small but that is to be expected in European hotels versus american ones. It was very clean and the staff was courteous and spoke pretty dencent english. It was […] a little loud at night but thats only because we left the window open. I got some ear plugs and and it worked just fine. We loved how close it was to everything and we would definitely stay here agian. Don't waste your money on breakfast. There is a great little pastry shop a block away in the Plaza del Sol. Les mer

This hotel started out with a swank design and a sophisticated air. Unfortunately, somewhere along the lines it looks like it got caught up in a bar fight.. and lost. There doesn't seem to be a wall/door/piece of furniture in the place that doesn't sport at least one dent, nick, or gash. From broken elevator buttons to shower doors that fall off, the […] whole place seems held together by glue and good intentions despite all the slick decor. I can only imagine it's had a strong run of early 20 somethings in town to enjoy the sights and Madrid's clubbing scene, certainly there were enough of them running around yelling at 4 in the morning (something the poor sound insulation allows you to hear perfectly). That's not to say there aren't any pros to the hotel. The room service keeps things as clean as they can manage, and the central location is so great you can overlook a lot of aesthetic shortcomings. This is a good hotel for young people looking for a place to rest their heads at night and a centralized base of operations for sightseeing around Madrid. Older travelers or those with young kids might be happier looking elsewhere. Les mer

Most of the staff are unfriendly, the 3 person room is in an attic with no window, only 2 skylights that we couln't use because the sun was too hot. The ceiling is painted black as well, and the silly bath is entirely see thru!(NO PRIVACY) Consider this a place to shower and sleep only and you'll do just fine. Pros: Location right in the heart of the sites. Safe, we were 4 college students felt very safe. Staff was great. Cons: Didn't receive free tickets to Thyssen Museum or free breakfast which were both advertised on the site.

All in all, we were pleased with the hotel. It is in an excellent location-- it's right down the street from a metro station and it's within walking distance of important sites such as the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta del Sol, and the Royal Palace. There are lots of places to eat and shop very close to the hotel. The room was a lot smaller than the pictures […] shwon on the internet, the bed was bit hard and uncomfortable, but the bathroom was big and we were able to manage okay with the bed. The room was quiet, but housekeeping parked their cart right outside of our door at 8:30 A.M., making it difficult to sleep with the noise they were making. The staff was friendly enough and were very helpful with giving us directions. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Madrid. Les mer

The location of this hotel was amazing . . . right in the heart of the shopping district too. They had free computer and internet access, the rooms were very modern and clean, but if you are sharing a room, you better be good friends with that person because the bathroom doors are glass. The Petit Palace Arenal is centrally located on a pedestrian mall in the heart of Madrid. It was right down the street from a metro station that made getting around the city a breeze. The hotel itself is a little run-down looking. When I entered my room there was a funny smell that I still cannot place. I thought it was because that there had been […] no A/C on for awhile, but after an hour it was still present. I resorted to opening a window to try to air the room out. Eventually, I either got used to the smell or it went away. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper and a cracked sink. This small, funny smelling room was over-priced. But, I'm sure I was paying for location and that made up for alot. And, I most likely would stay there again. Les mer

The location is right in the middle of the historic district and the staff was very helpful. The computer in the room was a nice touch since we didn't bring our own laptop.

Hotel is in a good, safe, convenient location near metro stations and plaza mayor. There is minimal staff and room size is small, but the stay for us was about being in the center of Madrid for a respectable price. Room noise wasnt really any issue for us... stayed out past 2am both nights.

Hotellets placering er super til både busser og metro eller til gå afstand til mange seværdigheder.

superbe prestation, très bien située chambre impécable moderne comme sur la photos, il y avait meme un ordi portable a dispo & wifi gratuit inclus...personnel agréable et compréhensif nous ne parlons que français ... *seul bémol le bruit des clients de la discothèque qui est juste en face, malgré les fenetres fermées a partir de 00 h 00 un bruit génant […] de foule car les clients sortent fumer et crient ou se chamaillent !! nous avons eu cela tous les soirs idem pour la sortie vers 5 h 00. Enfin nous étions en vacances, et de plus je le savais, je m'étais renseigné sur l'hotel via le site tripadvisor ;-) j'ai quand meme décidé de choisir cet hotel sans regrets: bon rapport qualité /prix et situation. Comme lus dans les forums ,effectivement une petite odeur d'égouts présente à l'entrée de l'accueil de l'hotel, mais cela semble généralisé à madrid nous avons retrouvé cette odeur aussi dans le métro pourtant très propre, des restos & grands magasins... rien de très grave !!! très bon séjour Les mer

Godt og centralt placering i forhold til byens seværdigheder, roligt og godt betjening, men dårligt ventilation på badeværelset og det lugtede kloakvand.

Väldigt centralt, fint läge, nära till shopping och sevärdheter.

Det bästa med Petit Palace arenal är lägget, du kan promenera till alla sevärdheter. Stora varuhus för köping har du på 5 min. promenad. Pulserande live lång in i natten, restauranter ,pub ochCaféer som gör din vistelse i Madrid till en otroligt upplevelse.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait : - à2min des rues commerçantes - en face d'une discothèque (Joy) - à côté d'un Starbucks/KFC/BurgerKing Je n'ai pas testé le petit-déj à l'hôtel qui est de 7eur (24-27 novembre 2011), apparemment c'est un buffet. La chambre (508) de 3 personnes est pas mal, la douche est géniale. Seul GROS HIC : y a un problème […] avec la clim ou alors l'hôtel est construit sur un volcan parce qu'il faisait chaud (ça évite de prendre des pyjamas dans la valise, gain de poids :p) heureusement qu'on avait la fenêtre qui donnait sur la rue piétonne <3 (ce n'est pas le cas de la 610, autre chambre de 3 personnes) point + : croiser des groupes américains qui viennent jouer à Madrid. Zimmer 103 hatte einen Schimmelfleck und stank nach Abflussrohr. Wir wurden aber nach Reklamation anstandslos in ein anderes Zimmer verlegt. Das war okay.

Les PLUS : Hôtel idéalement situé, à quelques pas de la Puerta del Sol. Quartier animé, restaurants et magasins au pied de l’hôtel. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages si départ tardif. Grande salle de bain. Les MOINS : Chambre très petite. Literie moyenne. Vue sur cour intérieur au 1er étage donc pas beaucoup de luminosité. Mauvaise odeur à la réception. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Der Zimmerservice war prima und es war sehr ruhig. Die phantastische Lage war ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt. Wenn man guten Standard, eine sehr gute Lage zu einem angemessenen Preis sucht, kann ich dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

Pour visiter la ville à pied, l'emplacement est génialement situé dans un quartier très animé. Chambres confortables et silencieuses, juste un bémol sur la porte vitrée de la SDB qui offre de la chambre une vue directe sur ... les toilettes !

Ubicación genial, la habitación y es comoda pero desafortunadamente nos dieron cuarto con ventana a la calle y en frente de una discoteca que nos dejó descansar muy poco Recomendable.

el aislamiento de ruidos del hotel es totalmente insuficiente. la discoteca Joy Eslava genera un ruido suficiente para que no se pueda dormir hasta las 6 de la mañana, hora en la que cierran.

vi havde to overnatninger på hotellet, en på vej ud og en på vej hjem på vej ud havde vi et lille og meget trist værelse som bestemt ikke levede op til vores forventninger, dette påtalte vi for personalet , som undskyldte meget ... på vej hjem fik vi et super lækkert værelse og her var der intet at klage over. meget hygge morgenmads kælder og maden […] var ganske okay...
