På rommene er det ett ord som passer spesielt godt: Greit. Man har det man trenger for å overnatte før man skal videre. Ser man etter, ser man at det er billig, men det er ikke ekstremt påtrengende, og det ER for eksempel vannkoker og hårtørrer, og det er også flatskjerm for dem som skjønner fransk. Koselig kan man vel neppe kalle rommet, men altså […] helt ok. Når det gjelder resepsjonsområdet og restaurant, virker det som om det her er to stjerner mer, og frokosten var god, med diverse fruktblandinger, gode franske rundstykker og PANNEKAKER. Den lille gåturen bort til terminal 1 om morgenen er bare hyggelig. En merkelig detalj: Det er dobbeltdyne. Noen vil sikkert si at det er fint at det slåes et slag for kjærligheten, man kanskje ikke alle. Les mer

Hotellet er perfekt som overnatting når man kommer, eller skal reise, ifra NIce flyplass. En eller to netter i fortreffelig seng. MEN! Et enormt men; IKKE SPIS I RESTAURANTEN deres. De har flott brosjyre om den, men det står absolutt IKKE i stil til hva de faktisk tilbyr. Dette er den verste maten jeg har vært borti. Gå til nabohotellet for å spise. Hotellet var greit nok, men avstanden til flyplassen, terminal 2 var ganske lang. Vi fikk dårlig tid tidlig på morgenen fordi at det ikke kom en buss som avtalt. Det tok for lang tid å få tak i drosje. Siden vi hadde valgt dette hotellet pga nærhet til flyplassen så ble dette ganske irreterende.

Grei beliggenhet når man skal reise videre på eks. ferie. I vårt tilfelle reiste vi med bil neste dag etter å ha landet i Nice. Kort vei til fra flyplassen til hotellet. Ingen støy fra flytrafikken. Bra frokost.

"Praktisk"
Helt perfekt for dem som kommer sent på kvelden og skal ta leiebilen fra flyplassen videre neste morgen. 5 minutter å gå fra terminal 1, bruk undergangen under den meget traffikerte hovedveien for å komme til hotellet. Veien med bil tar som regel lengre tid.

Helt, rent og ser forholdsvis nyoppusset ut. Frukost ok. Ikke noe undeholdning på hotellet mer enn TV, restaurant og bar. Litt langt å gå for å komme til stranden eller restauranter. Gangavstand til terminal 1 (SAS og Norwegian). Vi gikk med 6 vesker på flyplasstralle og våre 3 små barn. Hotellet har 3 sengers rom, tips for familier. Utmerket hotell hvis du skal tidlig avgårde fra flyplassen i Nice, vel og merke hvis det er terminal 1 flyet går fra. Hotellet var svært billig, og standarden helt utmerket. Men det var vanskelig å finne veien dit med bil.

I selected this hotel for three main reasons: 1. Close to the airport 2. Free internet connection 3. The price I was a bit reluctant as the hotel is given only two stars but it was actually comparable to a four star hotel I've stayed at earlier in Nice centre (though 3 stars would be more correctly I would say). I would say that this hotel really […] gives you value for the money! I arrived with a late flight and was going to Cannes next morning so it was really convenient to just walk 3 minutes from the airport (I have to say that I took a shortcut across the highway though... :-) ). Everything was nice and clean and with free internet access also, I was more than happy. :-) Conclusion: Absolutely a hotel I would recommend if you would like to stay near the airport (it was easy to spot the green signs of the hotel from the airport, so no problem to locate it yourself)! Dette hotellet var en positiv overraskelse. Svært nærme flyplass, jeg gikk 5 minutter fra hotellet til utenriksterminalen. Det er enklere enn å ta shuttlebussen. Men shuttlebussen er å anbefale fra flyplass til hotell, da man ikke vet hvor hotellet er ved ankomst. Helt kurante fasiliteter, vennlig og serviceinnstilt betjening. God restuarant. "Praktisk hotell for overnatting ved flyreise"
Helt greit hotell. Billig, og bra for bare å være to stjernes. Frokost til 9 euro pr pers, som ikke var å klage på. Betjeningen var svært hyggelig og hjelfull. De har også busstilbud til flyplassen som er gratis, om du skal reise med fly. Viss du vil se Nice sentrum er det ikke å anbefale, siden det er ett stykke dit, og taxi til sentrum kostet oss […] 30 euro. Men ellers en genial løsning om du skal fly fra Nice. "Perfect stop-over hotel"
Nice is a perfect stop-over destination, and if your stop-over includes a night, Campanile is the perfect hotel choice. The hotel is close to the airport shuttle stop (called Arenas). The shuttle, which operates every 10 minutes, takes you to the terminals in 10 minutes. If you are going to/coming from terminal 1, you can also walk. It only takes 7 […] minutes, which is very convenient. The hotel as well as the airport is also only 20 minute bus ride from downtown (buses 9 or 10 from Arenas or 98 or 99 from the airport). The service at the hotel was good, the room was clean and nice. I've certainly payed a lot more for a lot poorer standard elsewhere. I definitely recommend a stop-over in Nice. Decent hotel for the price and right smack in front of the Nice AIrport. So if you have an early morning flight or coming in on a late night flight, definitely recommend to spend the night here. Restaurant is ok - nothing great. I arrived at a "wrong" time since it was packed and I had to wait 20+ mins to get served since I didnt want the buffet. Rooms […] are very basic but clean. Internet is SLOW as MOLASSES and coverage in all rooms isnt that good. I had no coverage in my room, so had to go towards the center close to the elevator to get access - and even then at 100% strength it was working at 20kb only. Les mer
Personnel always helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Large selection of food for Breakfast. A la carte restaurant have a good selection to choose from and the food is excellent. Close to the airport which is very handy with the shuttle service from the hotel. Internet facility Coffee and tea in the room is essential. Excellent food, but extremely small rooms with basic amenities: TV, coffee machine (with small welcome snack), only one towel per guest in bathroom, no washcloth. But this is a decent hotel (for the price) to spend a night before catching the plane the next day. It is also very quiet despite its proximity to the airport. Free hourly airport shuttle […] (10 minutes from terminal). A plus: This hotel is located next to the Phoenix Park in Nice, a wonderful place to relax especially with children before a trip. A 2 minute walk from the hotel takes you there where plant and animal lovers will have a great time. There is also a small Asian museum and a great playground. Very convenient to the airport and the most inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the free airport shuttle. Unfortunately not much good to say about it. The walls are thin and the service is spotty. But really, if you are leaving on an early flight, it is fine. And the wifi is free.

"Campanile Hotel in Nice"
Perhaps it was our sense of direction, but although this hotel is very near the airport, we found it horribly difficult to actually access it by car. When we finally made it to the hotel (after an hour of driving around), we found the staff unfriendly and not very helpful. We had had nothing to eat for many hours, but there was no food available (understandable […] at 11pm) but nor was there much sympathy for our plight. The room was very small, but adequate for the rate charged. it was clean and reasonably comfortable. The foyer area and entrance was bright, recently refurbished and in good condition. In contrast with the night staff at the hotel when we arrived, the lady who was at the reception the following morning couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Les mer

Obviously very convenient for the airport. A simple bus ride into town - but apparently the buses back out from town stop fairly early in the evening. I've stayed at relatively expensive hotels in the centre of Nice and had little sleep due to traffic noise - so nowadays I stay here at it is quiet at night. Hotel Restaurant is a last resort place. OK […] ish - but you didn't come to Nice to sit in a canteen and eat OK ish food.... Les mer

A very convenient place if one needs a hotel facility, if overnighting, when making connecting flights. The beds were disappointing, as they had to be very small to fit into such small bedrooms. We had to fly out very early, so this worked because it is right across the street from the airport. The dessert and salad buffets were excellent, but we had to get a refund on the entree it was so bad.. Breakfast was just okay.

This is a very decent airport hotel... modern, clean, friendly... not a great neighborhood, but that is not why you go to a hotel near the airport. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant was less than friendly... and they should not ask you how you want your steak cooked. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the lobby and the room. Air conditioning is a huge plus. Restaurant at the hotel was quite good.

"Shuttle Bus from Airport"
one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was that our flight arrival time was late at night and the hotel had a shuttlebus service from Nice Airport. This was not correct! When we rang the hotel to check the time of the bus we were told that we could walk over. Never having been in Nice before we found ourselves walking across the main road with […] busy traffic dragging our bags behind us. This hotel is very close to the airport. If you don't have much luggage, I highly recommend it, since it's just a 10 minute walk to Terminal 1 at the Nice Airport. However, if you have more luggage, there's a shuttle that comes every 7-10 minutes during the day. Early morning and late night flights, you'll have to take the public bus, which is a 10 […] minutes walk away (might as well just walk directly to the airport instead). "Excellent value but very noisy, first thing."
Excellent value hotel, with good food hot buffet. Within walking/case trundling distance of airport and bus stop. Comfortable beds, tiny rooms, helpful staff. We even used this as a base for 4 nights in 2005, as the Nice train station is close by. Only major minus, was very noisy scraping and banging of bed making, rooms all around. First thing in […] the morning, when we wanted a lie in, after an exhausting drive to the airport. This noise was non stop from about 7 30. Zero sound proofing, very poor. Hence 3 stars. "Basic Airport hotel"
Location. Across a busy dual carriageway opposite the airport control tower. Next to the Novotel Transportation Has its own free shuttle that runs on the hour. Call this from the airport by using the free ‘phone at T1 gate A1 just outside arrivals exit. Or T2 gate exit A3. Walkable with hand or wheeled luggage from T1 arrivals gate A1 Exit Gate A1, […] go straight ahead crossing the two red/white crossings and infront there is the underpass for the road. Continue straight on under this and at the roundabout (50 yards) use the crossing to cross the road and take a right towards the easily seen Novotel. Keep walking past the Novotel and the Campanile is on your left (50 yds) From T2 catch the free inter-terminal bus and either get off at T1 or ask the driver to stop at the next stop on the way back to T2. At this stop cross the road and walk back the way the bus has just come (walking towards Novotel) in 50 yards you will be at the roundabout where you cross the road to your left. This stop is also served by the 23 bus. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which is served by the 98 (express bus to the airport) Takes about 5 mins max. Hotel Check in Staff Ok, free apples on the counter. Room Basic but clean, soft bed with 3 pillows. TV shows French channels. Air-conditioning not effective so may be a problem in hotter weather. Kettle with two paper cups and two tea and coffee sachets. Bathroom. Basic shower gel/shampoo + soap. Decent shower pressure + bath with hot water. No discernable noise in the night from the road or the airport. Restaurant. Dinner is a combination of all you can eat buffets 24Euro 16 euro, 8.50 Euros or a set menu or the A La Carte dinner, nothing fancy but OK. Breakfast is extra at 9.00 euro-I did not eat. Wi-fi Internet is free but is very flaky in the room. Better in reception though always slow. A few basic eateries around the hotel, but nothing worth bothering with IMHO.
