"What I expected"
This is a great deal for a room. Its not a luxury hotel, but it does have a comfortable bed, as well as a separate room with a mini kitchen, table and couch. Unless you are a needy, pampered person, this hotel will meet your needs. I will stay here again when I am in the area. "Amazing deal for the money"
I was very impressed by this hotel, especially for the money! Room was nice, perfect size, good size kitchen, and mostly? A comfortable bed in a separate room!

We asked for a non-smoking room and the room that we first went into was overpowering with the smell of cigarettes. The hotel staff was kind enough to give us another room but I wouldn't consider the room we stayed in completely non-smoking either. "Don't stay here"
I hope I never have to stay at this hotel again. The room was filthy as if housekeeping changed the bedding and that's all. We found a used hypodermic needle in the room and when we confronted the manager we got no response at all.

"Extended Stay Deluxe Midtown"
This hotel was worth the low price and very handy for our purposes. Our only gripes were that no handsoaps (or soaps of any kind) were provided without asking. And, the coffee pot was broken and it took more than 24 hours to replace it.

Very affordable . Big suits clean. Maid service leaves something to work on. Very friendly people not a 5 star hotel but very Comfortable. Did I mention affordable?
"Get what you pay for"
Not fancy, but it's clean and the location is great. For the cost of the room, it was fine.
The rooms were clean and nice, but the hallways could use a good cleaning as the tends to be a dirty or musty smell in the hallways.

Close to my destination and reasonable place to stay
"Convenient, but Empty Your Trash!"
The room was adequate, bed was uncomfortable,temperature controls did not work properly, Wi-Fi wasn't free, and still not very fast. Saving grace was its convenient location, but I'm sure something else nearby would have been adequate.
Didn't get room cleaned daily. I had to take out trash it was not part of the cleaning. Coffee maker didn't work properly and didn't get much sleep because of all the noise in other rooms and hallway..

It wasn't what I was expecting at all, the rooms were small and and unclean carpets stained. The television in the living area was getting ready to go out, the television in the bedroom had no cable service and when I told motel service they didn't even bother to get someone to fix it and the dvd player that was in the room someone stole the audio/video […] cable and was told that they would bring up another one but unfortunately NEVER DID!!!!!! "HORRIBLE"
As soon as you walk into this place you are hit with the smell of cigarettes and body odor. The floors are stained and the carpet is filthy. The rooms are way too hot and the beds don't have sheets that fit. The walls are flimsy and you can hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms. On our second morning at this dump we had no hot water. The front […] desk wouldn't answer the phone and when we finally got ahold of them they were rude and had no estimated time of repairs. We had to shower in freezing cold water. No discount or any other form of compensation was even offered. We ended up having to stay another night and the woman at the desk didn't program our cards to get back into the room. So we explained to the night clerk that we needed into our room and he just coded cards and handed them to us. No identification was asked for. This place is a total mess and for what we paid we should have had better accomodations. We will tell all of our friends not to stay here. Les mer
"Extended Stay delux"
I would NOT recommend staying here. It has become a run down hotel. I will certainly not waste another dime of my $$ to stay there. The hallways stunk and we woke up one morning without hot water and they had NO estimated time for when it would be fixed! Pretty sad when you have to warm up water in the microwave and a frying pan to wash your hair. Overall […] experience was not good and will not stay there again. The rooms are spacious. I like that. Close to shopping areas,library,etc.
"Extended Stay America Deluxe -- NOT!"
This was the worst ESA I have ever stayed at. The room was not clean--I found some red stuff on the bathroom sink which easily wiped off. There was garbage on the bedroom carpet next to the bed (in all fairness, it would have taken a hose attachment to get it up--but that should have been done). There was an orange rubber baseball behind the bedroom […] door indicating that the maid had not swung the door while vacuuming. The upholstery on the couch was torn. The bathroom fan did not exist--the housing was there, but no fan, no motor. I mentioned these to the front desk when I left for the day. She assured me it would be taken care of that day. When I got back, same-o, same-o. Although it was clear that a maid had been there and revacuumed, the dirt next to the bed was still there, the ball was still there, the ripped upholstery was still there, and there still was no bathroom fan. The paint was chipped on the bathroom and kitchen cabinets and the carpet was stained and worn. Also, this was supposed to be a "deluxe," which, according to the website means that it has a "Deluxe Mornings Gourmet Coffee Bar," meaning, "Deluxe Mornings® Coffee Bar includes premium gourmet coffees with a selection of fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese." Well, they had coffee, nothing else. The ESA Deluxe also means they have "Print-Me ® - Remote network printing," meaning "PrintMe® Deluxe lets you securely print documents from your room and conveniently pick them up in the lobby." You need to call the front desk to get the ID and password. When I called the front desk, the clerk had never heard of such a thing. In short, I cannot recommend this ESA to anyone. Les mer

"Poor service is the norm"
In this hotel is a deferred maintenance is the standard. The exercise room did not have an elliptical although it obviously used to. When I asked she said she was going to order one. The first time I went there the door was locked and the clerk had to slide a metal hook/loop under the door to open it. She obviously was experienced at this as the door […] lock didn't work! "Downtown Extended Stay -- where we ended up"
The Downtown Extended Stay is great for family or individual. It is not downtown, really, it is more just outside of downtown. There are many highrise downtown hotels, but why pay twice as much for the room and parking. "you get what you pay for in a great location!"
I have all redy told you about the check in. The room was an up grade from what we had ask for. You would normaly say thats great and it WAS, untill i had to take my husdand to the emergancy room at 8:00 PM. This was our second night there and we were to check out the next day. at 3:30 A.M. i got back to the hotel alone as my husband was edmited to […] the hospital . the night desk clerk was very nice, i would have to stay another day. i ask if ther was anyway that he could extend our stay 2 more nights,at the same rate? he quickly did some rat changes and i was in my room in5 min.Now it is check out time and the day desk clerk (not the same one as cheke in) calls and says i need to talk to you about the rest of your stay. she then in formed me thaet i would have to pay full price and as it was there suit room, it was quit abit moor!!! I explained what had transpired the night befor and she said oh thats to bad . i all so explend that i had not booked the suit that the gril on friday night had just put us there. i had a copy of my conformation and showed it to her,the reply was well you are in it now. of cours i had no choic in the mater, with my husband in the hospitel . i have worked in the industry the last 13 years, we have had similar things happen and literly given the persons involved one or two nights for Free, i did not ask for that i just wanted to keep the rate i had gotten.orignaly. it's to bad big bussnes and the allmity dollar has taken away any humanity.people used to help people, now its grab every penny at what cost ?? The hotels location and parking are an advantage for rural Alaskan residents visiting Anchorage for bulk shopping trips.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and did not have many complaints. It had been awhile since my last stay and I don't intend on staying there again. The room was dingy. The carpet and couches need to be replaced. The worst part about my stay was the odor. There was a body odor smell in the room when we first arrived and in the hallway. "Stay at Extended Stay Deluxe in Anchorage, AK"
Hotel location was very convenient. Check in was okay and exterior good. Room was supposed to be non-smoking but had obviously been smoked in. Carpet had burn holes but was not filthy. Bed really smelled bad of cigarette smoke and walls were very thin. I would rate this hotel above other cheaply priced extended stay hotels with a refrigerator and stove […] but will not stay there again. Les mer

"FULL kichen!"
Very clean HOTEL, nice full kitchen with all equipments. The Delux room has Two queen beds, good for 4 person.(or Family) A little far from center of city, need a car...
