Det første rommet vi fikk hadde tett vask og en safe som ikke fungerte. Vi fikk byttet raskt til et annet rom hvor dusjen hadde dårlig og sakte sluk, men ellers var rommet helt greit. Frokosten helt ok. Det var slitsomt at de ansatte hele tiden skulle hjelpe oss med å finne frem, og vi følte at de hele tiden ønsket å selge oss tjenester alt fra skreddertjenester […] og souvenirer. Vi opplevde også at de ble innbitt når vi sa at vi allerede hadde vært hos en skredder. Det positive med oppholdet var at vi opplevde at de til syvende og sist igrunn bare ville vårt beste og beskytte oss fra de mange svindlerne (vi hadde bla en luring i taxien fra flyplassen som kunne kjøre oss til 'sin søsters skredderbutikk'). I tillegg hadde de gratis shuttelbuss inn til bykjernen (3 min kjøretur). Vi bestilte også taxi fra hotellet den morgenen vi skulle dra, kl 0330. Dette kostet to dollar mer en taxien på gaten, men var til gjengjeld puntklig og behagelig. I tillegg fikk vi frokosten med oss i en taxeaway-boks. Les mer

We spent 4 nights at this hotel during our stay in Hoi An in the Villa apartments overlooking the pool. Great room, with O.K bathroom. The free bike rental this hotel offers is genious, 10 minutes on the bike and you can get to the center of the city, or to the lovely beach. We used these every day. If you can't be bothered with biking around, the hotel […] also offers shuttle service to the city center or to the beach. The staff at the hotel was warm, kind and welcoming. Especially Lily! The resturant at the hotel is very nice, good food. Even though it was a bit pricey compared to the rest of the resturants you find in Hoi an, it was well worth a try. The Cham Dance show they put on every night was however not that interesting. All in all a very pleasant stay, at a hotel that makes you feel at home. We will definately use this hotel if we ever go back to Hoi An. Les mer

Fin beliggenhet med god busservice til både strand og sentrum. Sykkel man kunne låne var perfekt, morsom detalj med pålagt sykkelparkering før stranden. Nydelig og sykle ut til stranden. Musty rooms badly in need of updating Far from town and beach and hotel minibus only runs a few times a day. There are nicer hotels near both town or beach.m

The rooms are very nice and good facilities, 20m from hoi an centre, however with bikes to go to the beach! Nice staff and good breakfast. I recommend!

This is a good hotel, not new, bit out of the city centre but huge, nice room with beautiful swimming pool area. Amazing breakfast, free bicycle hire. Negative: no wifi in rooms and staff speak poor English - difficult communication

We stayed in Hoi An for 4 nights & have no complaints about this hotel. We found the friendly staff really made the stay enjoyable. From the minute we arrived the lady behind the desk couldn't have been more helpful, informative and approachable. Duc the bell boy greeted us with his friendly smile every morning & was always willing to offer advice […] or just have a chat. Even the lady behind the tourist desk would come out the front every morning to assist us and make sure our bus was still going to turn up so that we wouldn't miss our tour for the day - even though we hadn't booked the tours through the hotel. While the hotel is a little old, it remains clean & any problems we had were attended to & fixed immediately. Breakfast is fantastic and the location halfway between the beach and town is convenient. After completing a trip across Vietnam - I can say this was the friendliest hotel we came across which added to the relaxing & magical vibe that Hoi An has to offer Les mer

Safe, clean and comfortable. A nice hotel to stay , not right smack in town but a comfortable and easy taxi -ride away. Hotel has a shuttle service to city - dropoff and pickup next to central market, and if service is disrupted, will pay for your taxi ride - fantastic. All their people are very helpful and try their best to let your stay be very pleasent. […] Complimentry breakfast is very good and filling and the service crew attends to you smilingly especially the very pretty Co Sa - certainly a "Good Morning Vietnam". Didn't feel like a four star more 2.5 - 3 stars. Staff were try hards on compulsory Christmas dinner, but I feel missed the mark in terms of what foreigners wanted. We didntcome to Vietnam to watch Aussiesplay beer drinking competitions. our Christmas which promised to be special in a culturally diverse country turned out to be close to woeful. We stayed over Christmas and were made to feel at home. I have to mention the efforts that Karthe made to make us welcome to the hotel and throughout our stay. We took part in the Christmas Gala too. This was the most expensive and least successful booking on our stay in Vietnam. Our room was small and poorly maintained in comparison to others.

Excellent service including free shuttle to town. Good rooms, ours was slightly damp until the AC cleared it up. Outside flooding zones, which is why we chose it - our regular hotel was under water! :-) All part of the Hoi An experience.

Hotel is pricey (we stayed when it was on 50% discount). The hotel itself is very agreeable, good breakfast, quite clean rooms. However the shower drainage was not functioning during our stay and it wasn't fixed despite our mentioning it numerous times to the staff. In addition, we were hassled extensively to provide good ratings of the hotel by staff […] in the restaurant on our last day (who we'd never spoken to before) which I did not like in the least. In addition, the hotel is quite a way outside of the old town. There is however, a great place to rent mopeds from across the street for only $5. Les mer

My family spent 4 nights in Hoi An Pacific Hotel recently. This is a very good family type hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute taxi ride from both the beach and Hoi An city centre. The staff were very helpful and arranged tours. The buffet breakfasts in the roof top restaurant were very good and the bar on the ground floor was a great place to relax with […] a drink, snacks and use the hotel computers. The rooms were very comfortable, although they had a damp mouldy smell which we got used to. The swimming pool was wonderful and is set in a lovely tropical garden. Overall the staff are polite except one lady who was manning the counter on 24 September between 10am to 1pm who show such a vast difference in service level between me and a western guest..no smile or whatsoever from her for the 2 times I asked her stuff, however, when a westerner approached her, her big smile light up! Disappointed overall with this hotel and it did not feel 4 star quality even though lobby area was nice. The food was of a poor standard for 4 star, was not cheap and we never ate there again. Would not recommend and there are much better 4 star hotels in Hoi an.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights as a stop over between Hanoi and nha trang and what a welcome break it was! The staff were super helpful and the room was a good size with a comfy bed and good pillows! (something I've found a rarity in Asia). The major perks of this hotel were the free bikes which we used daily to get to and from town (although […] they do have a shuttle bus if you don't fancy but the bikes are good and the roads are as safe as I've seen in Vietnam!). The breakfast is also great especially as it had no time limit on it! The only downer we had was that the spa was undergoing renovations when we stayed so there was some noise from that hut it didn't start til 10am and I guess that's why it was on sale. Great hotel, clean large room and friendly staff. About a ten minute walk to hoi an centre, but they do have free bikes and a shuttle bus. Private beach (also a shuttle bus) is nice too. cant fault it, bit pricey for drinks in the bar (about 3 dollars for a beer) is about all I can say negative. nice pool too.

I had a great time staying at the Hoi An Pacific. The hotel is very nice and the staff couldnt be friendlier. It is a bit out of Hoi An, maybe 2km. They do have a shuttle bus that brings you to and from Hoi An and the beach but contrary to advertised, it is not every hour and it is not very regular. There are bicycles you can take but they are first […] come first served and were all gone early in the morning when we were there. The swimming pool was very nice and the beach was also lovely.They have a breakfast buffet from 7 - 10 in the morning but what I thought was particularly good was that you could have breakfast anytime you wanted it after that for no extra cost. I would highly recommend it as I felt it was great value for money. Les mer

A terrific hotel with freindly staff. We had a vila and could not fault the room at all. Would highly recommend staying there.

Had a great holiday. Food was great. Service even better. Everyone was so friendly. They couldnt do enough for us.We were greated at breakfast every day by staff who had taken the time to learn all our names.

we had a pool villa,which was super. Very good breakfast. A short distance to town center and beach with the hotel bus for free. I really recommend this hotel.

I am shocked at all the positive reviews because I found Pacific Hotel to be a hole. The lobby is the nicest part of the whole hotel. Our room was dark (perfect for Mosquitos) and the bathroom was dingy. The walls in this place are very thin, you can hear what your neighbor is watching on TV or when they are carrying on a conversation and more! There […] are also gaps in the windows, meaning they dont close tightly, and there were gaps under the front door. In the bathroom, I had to rig the shower drain to stay open otherwise the water would pool in the tub and there you are standing in your own dirty water. As far as the common areas go, the pool is refreshing but it is old and had mold growing around it and there are a lot of bugs out to pester you. They advertise a fitness facility, don't be fooled- one old treadmill, bike, 4 other machines. All which are extremely old and out dated. One other down fall, they are in a common meeting room with a pool table and NO air con or fan! Good luck utilizing this fitness facility. Tours! Yes, they will gladly organize a tour for you for and outlandish amount of money. Don't do it. Walk a few doors down or into town and book with an agency. It will save you a lot of money. Les mer

I would recommend the hotel. Hoi An is a wonderful place. We were planing just 3 days and at the end we stayed for 8 days here... The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is overall great value for money. I will be back next year.

The Hoi An Pacific Hotel was the closest we got to staying in a resort hotel. It is clean and quiet and offers amenities such as a recreation room, a spa and a pool. It is halfway between the downtown and the beach area- about a 10 minute bike ride to either. The staff were quite friendly and most spoke very good English.

This hotel was outstanding value for money, we stayed in the villa room so don't know what the regular rooms are like. Breakfast was excellent. Proximity to town is about 15 mins walk and a taxi to the beach takes about 10 mins, although the hotel does have a bus service for these things. We really loved our stay in this hotel in Hoi An. The place is beautiful, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the pool was excellent. The only drawback is that it's in between the town and the beach, and it was so hot when we were there that we didn't want to walk much. AMAZING breakfast! such a huge selection. the location wasnt that good as it was a little far away but still walkable about 30mins. they have shuttles going all the time which was good and coming back you can catcha taxi if wanted. was sooo cheap. i would go back to this hotel. nice pool.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hoi An Pacific. I was there with a group, and I think that most of the people liked the place. It was in a good location, between the old town and the beach.

My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed for 4 nights in April 2011. The hotel is a medium size, the rooms are a generous size and clean. The breakfast is good and the pool very welcoming after spending a day walking around town looking at the sights and shopping. It was handy having free internet access in the lobby. We found the staff helpful […] and nothing was too difficult. There are several restaurants across the road, shops next door for supplies, free mini-bus transport into Hoi An and the beach. We'd come from frantic chaotic Ho Chi Minh and found Hoi An and the hotel a relaxing change. Les mer

Great hotel, not far from the centre of town within a cheap taxi ride, the only comment I would make is that the shower set up in the villas is right where the toilet is, in other words, if you take a shower then all the floor is wet around the toilet, only a minor issue as the bathtub, which is opposite, also has a hand held shower, just a bit awkard […] to use. The hotel staff were first and foremost very courteous, and all spoke very good English. For a small hotel at this price, it is run very well. The room was clean and spacious. It's not connected to the beach, but there's a complimentary shuttle that goes to the beach every hour. The same goes to get to the city. The beach where they took us was very very nice. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel readily exchange your US bills for local currency, the Vietnamese dong. Limited shuttle service to old town and the beach, but taxi rides are cheap $1.50 to 2 US$ and always available. Across the street are eateries (nothing to brag about), but you can order decent pizza through them, and have […] your laundry done for about 60 US cents per pound or $1.20 for the kilogram, machine washed and dried. Insist that the laundry must be completely DRY and on time (within 24 hours). There is also a good tailor shop which can finish a women's blouse (of your choice from a catalogue) within a day. For good service rendered, one US dollar would be appreciated to helpful people. Les mer

The hotel is overstated as a 4star, its at best a 3. Rooms are tired, the gym is shared with a snooker roon and lounge and the breakfast is drab. On the positive side, the staff are friendly, the pool is good and the free internet cafe in the main lobby (by the bar) is great. Location is ok - its a couple of Km to the market and restaurants in Hoi An […] so an easy walk or a taxi for about 30VND each way. However, be prepared for noise from dogs and chickens from the neighbours in the early hours. Overall, doesn't live up to the advertising. Ww were booked for 5 nights - shipped out after 3. Les mer

The hotel is closer to the beach than the Ancient Town. But the hotel will always rent out bicycles for free and it takes less than 10 mins to get to the Ancient area. I had a room in the villa area and the room was very, very pleasingly clean. Clean sheets, comfortable beds, very large rooms, hot shower, cable tv, beautiful view of the pool, and even […] an electric water pot for that much needed hot cup of tea at the end of the day. (tea bags were available in the room) The breakfast is served at the restaurant on the seventh floor. The food is great - many different types to choose from, from freshly made omelets /eggs, salads, fruits, soups, western fare (bacon, ham, bread), juices, coffee, and tea. The view is quite fantastic. You get an idea of the layout of the city and get a feel for the true "Indochine." Try to get a seat at the outside terrace area - this is where you can enjoy the views most. There was a split between politeness of staff. Some were polite, some were quite grumpy. One of the bell boys tried to sell me his "scooter ride" services but I just ignored it. The hotel recommends a certain tailor, saying they have good quality material and quick services. I compared prices with another for a skirt, and found that the hotel's recommendation was more than double where the other asked for. So I believe there is room for bargaining. All in all, the hotel itself made my stay in Hoi An a most memorable stay. Les mer
