Vi er tilfreds, vennlig personal. Hvis det mangler en lampe, eller en skyvedør er tungt å skyve igjen (vi fikk nytt rom) er det rask og god service! Ikke langt fra Playa Jardin (svart strand) m fin boulevard og fin park til den gamle fisker landsbyen.Til "sentrum" er det ca 15 min, t.venstre ut av hoteletet. Bra service på Tourist Info og på Buss Info. Kjøp Bono kort, hvis du reiser en del med buss.

Har bodd på hotellet tidligere og liker det veldig godt. Skal noe negativt nevnes må det være at kvaliteten på frokosten har gått litt ned. Mat på hotellet forøvrik kjenner jeg ikke til, spiser ute på andre steder.

Helt nord på Playa de las Americas ligger Costa Adeje, og hovedattraksjonen er Puerto Colón marina, som er utgangspunkt for en rekke båtturer og vannsport. Nattelivet er stille, og stedets golfbane i mesterskapsklassen er en av Kanariøyenes beste. Rett innenfor ligger den nærmest uberørte landsbyen Adeje, og i nærheten ligger også Barranco del Infierno (Helvetesgapet), en vakker og frodig fjellkløft som er svært populært blant turgåere.

Vi likte rommet, som var stort og praktisk, med behagelig seng og sofagruppe. Det er imidlertid mer 4 enn 5-stjernes standard på rommet. Plastmøbler på terrassen, ikke kaffekoker eller glass på rommet. Den rustikke stilen med gule vegger og gardiner og furumøbler fra tidlig 2000-tall begynner å virke litt slitt. Vi hadde bestilt et rom med havutsikt […] til en veldig fordelaktig pris. Det viste seg at kun få av hotellets rom er vinklet med utsikt mot havet, slik at det vi fikk var et lite sideblikk på havet på et rom som vendte ut mot en trafikkert vei. Vi klaget og fikk umiddelbart tildelt et rom med en straks bedre utsikt. Vi likte også bassengområdet, der det alltid var god plass til tross for mye folk ved hotellet. Veldig god meny og service ved restauranten "La Laja". Stort sett veldig hyggelig og vennlig betjening ved hotellet. Uansett har også dette hotellet et visst preg av samlebånd og turistindustri, noe som særlig merkes ved frokosten. Alt i alt et veldig trivelig opphold til en gunstig pris. Les mer

The interior of the hotel was fine but the exterior need a coat of paint in places so looked a bit run down. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room we occupied had a deffective electric socket plus the shower broke and the sink leaked. The rooms were not insulated for sound so we could hear the people in the next room even going to the toilet. […] There was no pay TV even though we booked this hotel because it was advertised and the TV's could also do with being updated to flat screen. We have stayed in a 5* hotel before and in our minds this hotel should not be in that catagory but in the 4* range. We were glad we only booked room and breakfast as the food we tried while staying there was not up to much and there are a lot of good restaurants near by to choose from. Would not stay there again. "Costa Adeje Gran Hotel - Nice service"
We found the hotel best in the neighbourhood, with very good service. The hotel is very clean, both the room and the pool area. It is also very big, so if you are travelling with small children, you might consider a smaller hotel. If you forget something in the room it takes a long time to get it! And for us it was not worth taking the half-board. There […] was a lot variation in food, and a lot of food in general, but in my opinion, tasteless. Allthough it is not expensive, I would recommend to eat out at some nights, since some of the restaurants in the area are very good and not expensive at all. Les mer
"Gran hotel costa adeje - good but has a drawback"
Overall, the hotel is very good. However, we was very disappointed to find that we need to pay for dinner drinks!! (we took half board package). When we ordered the hotel, it wasn't mentioned!
"Gran Hotel Adeje, A great holiday experience"
The hotel is excellent, the stafff are very friendly and the food is dangerously good. The facilities were also excellent, the hotel does try and stop people booking seats at the pool with their towels but not very successfully. The entertainment at night was very good on some nights and reasonable on others. The price of drinks at the bar was expensive […] as was the price of wine at dinner. The room that we had on the 5th floor was very nice, it had a great view and was very quiet at night. The only problem was with the bathroom because eventhough it was kept very clean there was at most times a musty smell (I think coming from the drain in the bath). I repoted this when contacted for my comments by the hotel but nothing changed.The other problem with the bathroom was the control of both the water pressure and temperature in the shower. The mixer taps are inadequate to allow proper control and really should be updated. These problems should be fixed but would not stop me from staying here again. The location of the hotel is also excellent, the beach is only a 10 minute walk but it is downhill and the walk back may be difficult for people with mobility problems. The hotel is also located across the road from where a market is held twice weekly and if you want to travel to other locations taxis are easily available and reasonably priced. In Adeje you will not encounter traders hasslying you to buy their products or eat/drink at their bars etc. In Fanabe and other locations it is a big problem and was the only downside to our experience, some traders were reasonable when making their approach but others were downright insulting. You need to also avoid the time share people and those selling cameras etc. I would definitely recomment this hotel, we had a great holiday experience and I look forward to returning again. Les mer

Cannot say anything negative about this hotel, is and has everything you would want. The service is top of the best. Everyone was so helpful and catered to us as if we would be royalty. Check out for yourself on line as to what it has to offer, you will be very pleased.
"Gran Hotel Costa Adeje- pleasant family hotel"
Myself, my husband & our 2 boys (2 & 4yrs) had a lovely 10 night stay. The pools & hotel amenities are really good. Our suite was comfortable & clean. The staff are friendly. Reception staff are particularly efficient. The Kid's Club staff were enthusiastic and kind. For older children, more structure/planning would make the club a lot better. We were […] disappointed with the quality of food at the buffet breakfast. Bread &fruit were good but the cereals were stale, juice watered down, jams awful etc. Buffet dinner wasn't good either and unfortunately room service food was appalling. The A La Carte restaurant at the hotel was streets a head and well priced too. Overall, a pleasant stay but would rate it as a 4 star not a 5 star hotel. Les mer
"One of the best Hotels in the area"
As long as you are sure you want to stay on or near Playa de la Americas, then this Hotel will meet your needs. It is in a good location, has a very friendly staff, and is a nice hotel. This hotel belongs in the class of cruise-ships-on-land. It feels very much like they want you to stay in the hotel for all your needs and you could easily do so. The […] hotel is a five minute walk from a nice mall and a ten minute walk from the beach-so the location is good. I went in the off season and my rate reflected that. As such it was one of the best values I have ever had- in the high season it would probably still be good but I wouldn't know for sure. Les mer

"nach 10 jahren verblassen die 5 sterne so langsam."
erster eindruck, pompöses hotel, mit einer riesigen empfangshalle, 4 swimming pools, einer davon wunderschön auf der dachterrasse gelegen. die zimmer und das bad sind relativ gross, es wird zwar täglich geputzt, aber leider nur oberflächlich. die gleichen haare und papierschnitzel lagen auch nach 2 wochen immernoch an der gleichen stelle im zimmer. […] der absolute schocker waren statt dem kingsbett die zwei zusammengestellten einzelbetten mit rollen unter dem kopfteil. wenn man sich nur leicht im bett bewegte, bewegte sich jeweils das ganze bett. am schlimmsten am bett waren die uralten federkernmatrazen, bei jeder bewegung quietschten diese in beiden betten und schafften es tatsächlich diese 2 wochen mit starken rückenbeschwerden zu beenden. leider brachte auch die *massage* im spa keine deutliche besserung, obwohl mir die leitung mindestens 50% besserung garantierte, eigentlich sollte ich einen teil der pro 90 minuten bezahlten 165 euro je sitzung zurück fordern. zurück zum zimmer, den abgenützeten möbeln sieht man das alter deutlich an. knirschende fliessen mit rissen zeugen davon, dass hier schon lange nicht mehr investiert und renoviert wurde, sondern nur noch geld abgetragen wird. angesichts des relativ niedrigen preises für ein 5 stern haus weiss ich nunmehr, warum wir hier so günstig hausen konnten. mit diesem standard habe ich in spanien jedoch bereits in 3-4* häusern übernachtet, denke mal mit 4 sternen wäre dieses haus gut bedient. Erwähnenswert für ein 5 * haus ist sicherlich der safe, welcher mit extra gebühren anfällt. möchte man auch nur einen drink im kühlschrank, muss man vorkasse leisten. dummerweise wurde ein stock über uns an 2 tagen bereits um 7.30 mit bohren und hämmern begonnen, in meinen ferien lasse ich mich nicht wirklich gerne von einer baustelle wecken... trotzdem aufgerafft und zum frühstücksraum begeben, musste man teilweise 10-12 minuten anstehen, um in den für ein fast 1000 betten hotel schon eher kleinen frühstückssaal geführt zu werden Les mer

"Séjour agréable"
Décidé à effectuer le passage en 2010 au soleil, j'ai réservé un séjour d'une semaine au Gran Hotel Costa Adeje de Ténérife. L'hôtel est très grand. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées. Attention cependant aux bruits des groupes de climatisation (en tout cas au premier étage où était située ma chambre à côté des piscines). Le personnel est sympathique […] et agréable (quelques mots en français, mais espagnol ou anglais de rigueur.... nous sommes en Espagne avec une clientèle internationale !). Les buffets (1/2 pension) sont "à thème" selon les jours, la qualité est correcte, même si l'ensemble manque parfois un peu de saveur et le choix des plats principaux est un peu restreint. Le buffet du 31 au soir comprenait des huîtres, des langoustes, du foie gras. Les boissons étaient exceptionnellement incluses, mais les tarifs pour les autres jours ne sont pas démesurés. Des animations en soirée avec pour le 31, une troupe de danse, cotillons suivis d'une soirée dansante. Clientèle essentiellement espagnole, angalise et allemande au moment du séjour. Les + : hôtel suffisamment grand pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres (bonne disponibilité des transats), propre, personnel agréable et disponible. Les - : coffre dans la chambre payant en supplément (pour un 5 étoiles..!), buffets assez variés mais sans grande saveur, problèmes de démagnétisation de la clé de chambre fréquents (attention à la cohabitaion avec les téléphones portables !), localisation de l'hôtel un peu éloigné des lieux animés. Séjour agréable dans l'ensemble avec un soleil à plus de 25° dans la journée qui permet de faire un bon break à cette période. Les mer
