Med rom vendt mot elva og canyon - ble dette et flott opphold. Fjellformasjonen Snoopy kunne beskues fra verandaen. Støy fra Hwy 89/179 merket vi ikke noe til i det hele tatt, men viktig å få rom mot elva. Gåavstand til Uptown Sedona og til restauranter langs 179. Frokosten som var inkludert i prisen var svært enkel. Hvorfor hotellet kun har fått to stjerner forblir en gåte for oss. Helt klart et hotell som fortjener i hvert fall tre!!

Min kone og jeg var meget godt fornøyd med oppholdet på Comfort Inn. God standard på hotellet, god service og grei lokalisering ift bilbruk og tur til Grand Canyon. Anbefaler stedet meget gjenrne.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel with our 15 and 16 year old teenagers. The hotel interior could maybe need a renewal, but it was cleen and very well kept. We were especielly excited for the garden and the lake that surrounded the pool and garden area. Very nice! The hotel had a lots of pools and even a sandy beach as well as an adult pool area, so here was something for everey taste. We also enyojed nice meals on one of the hotel restaurants, both for breakfast and dinner. Maybe a little expencive, but the food was really good, and the service was excellent. We would absolutely recomment this hotel to others.

I went with this hotel by looking at the ratings it had received. My experience was very similar to everyone else who had written reviews for this place. Very clean, friendly staff, beds were very comfortable and for the price I paid, it was totally worth it. I just stayed at this great motel again with some friends. For the price and location it cant be bettered. I will stay again. Owners are very nice people, wifi is great, free and no hassle.

We needed place to stay for one night before catching the Amtrak. This motel was low-priced but neat and clean. It is located across the street from the NAU campus and within walking distance of the Amtrak station. If all you want is a clean bed for the night, you can't beat the price and convenience of the Highland.

Nothing fancy, just a place to hang our hat. It was clean, friendly, conveniently located and great for the price.

We rarely spend time in our room, so all that we expect is for it to be clean and quiet. I heard the train noise that people were talking about in other reviews (only because I happened to be up already). It is absolutely nothing to complain about (at least from Room 214). Basically, it's about as audible as a quiet air conditioner -- just a very distant […] rumbling. And there is no possible way that the noise would have woken me if I were asleep. The bed, carpet and bathroom were clean. We loved having the fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi was a little slow, but reliable. Location was the perfect starting point for our Grand Canyon and Sedona side trips. Front desk staff was very friendly, fast, and helpful. Les mer

We chose this hotel to compare to our own Lodge with the same rating. It was a nice clean comfortable night's stay. Management took time to answer questions we had about their operation, as well.

This is a nice hotel and very affordable. The location is perfect to many things to do in Flagstaff. My only complaint is that I asked for extra towels and pillows when I reserved the room and they were not in the room when we checked in. An in room coffee pot would have been nice but Starbucks is close by.

You get what you pay for. This motel is old and very basic. You do get a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The room had a HORRIBLE smell - like a sickening "air freshener". It was OK for a one night stay.

Hotel is near Northern Arizona University on Route 66. Looks older on the outside but the rooms are newly remodeled inside. Stayed for 1 night. Location is near many restaurants and a good base for visiting many area attractions. Good value, would stay there again.

I've stayed many times during bried trips to Flag, and this is the best place in town at a budget price and as good as a lot of more expensive places.

I almost always stay at this hotel when I go to see my daughter at NAU. I've looked on-line for hotels that might be better deals - but I keep going back to Highland Country Inn. Why take a chance on a hotel that I might not like when I love Highland Country Inn? They have microwaves, mini refrigerators, and hair dryers. I've heard people complain that […] they have no coffee pot in the room. Not a problem for me as they have coffee & tea in the office. If I forget something I need, the office has always been able to supply what I needed. They have also been very helpful in lending snow removal equipment when needed. Once they even helped give me push start as I was stuck on the ice in the parking lot. Les mer
"Excellent Cheap Motel"
This is a very standard motel but very clean with comfortable beds, very servicable bathroom, good shower. It is close to downtown (drivable by 2 minutes, walkable by about 15 minutes). If you need an inexpensive place to stay in Flagstaff, I highly recommend this place.

The room was clean and convenient. The bed was hard and the sheets were rough so it made for a pretty sleepless night. When the heater kicked on it was very loud. There is no inroom coffee. Had to go to the front lobby for coffee and it was 17 degrees outside.
