I stayed at this hotel for a week while attending a workshop at Kent State University. The rooms are well kept and tended.. spacious rooms..and not so far away from KSU. A comfortable hotel!!

"Hampton Inn Beechwood OH- Inconvenient location"
This hotel was not convenient to Cleveland, and there was serious rush hour traffic preventing easy access. The rooms had little if any noise insulation, and we were awakened during the night by talking in the halls and the ice machine. Desk staff promised three rooms on the same floor for our family, and when other family members arrived later than […] us, they ended up on two different floors. Everything was excellent except for the mattresses. Uncomfortable and lumpy.

Shower turned ice cold right in the middle. Not a great way to wake up. Hotel manager seemed to have heard the complaint before. He mentioned running water from some of the empty rooms on the floor. Otherwise hotel was fine. Just could not get past the shower.

"Party Hardy Hotel"
So I reserved this hotel for 4 of my family members for a family reunion for 2 nights. At first glance everyone was please with the rooms and the amenities. So as the day turned to night, there was a partying beginning on the 4th floor. Eventually the party got out of hand and one of the party members decided to pull the fire alarm. as the customers […] exited from the floor, there was boose, random clothing and vomit all over. This included the stariwell to the ground level. Eventually the alarm ceased and everyone was allowed inside but this was at about 1am in the morning. On top of that, the following morning, there was a line of cars that were egged and vandalized. From what I gathered, there were a number of people that complained and demanded compensation for that night but only a few were able to get such (a $100 voucher). The rest was to suck it up. Now many may consider such a party at a nice hotel to just be a matter of coincidence. But the hotel clerk admitted that they were suspicious of that group in the first place!!! She even stated that this is not a first and that this similar event occurred only a week earlier. So I would not recommend this hotel (at least on the weekends) to those with children or older family members that actually need sleep at decent times. Also this would not be the best place for those with nice or rented cars. Les mer

We were sent to one room . When we got there the bed had not been made -linens were everywhere. Our new room was okay but that night The fire alarm went off and kept blaring for close to an hour. Also we could not get Internet service in the hotel. We will not stay there again.

Rooms were really nice. Renovations being done, but thought the hotel staff was very accommodating and worked well around it. Good breakfast. Only complaint was too many kids in the pool area made it impossible to swim. Too many birthday parties that according to check in rules were not allowed. Desk clerk was apologetic and let us swim after the crowd […] left. It was worth the wait. Overall very nice stay. Les mer
"Hampton in Beachwood"
This is one of the nicest motels in the Beachwood area and I have stayed at many of them. It is very clean, everything is in working order, there is a terrific breakfast free of charge and the rooms are comfortable and very quiet. It is less than 500 feet from Route 271 and you can hear a pin drop. I like this motel so much, I have already booked a […] room for our trip up there next month! You can not go wrong staying here. The only criticism is that they were remodeling the lobby area and it was dusty, but it did not impede our movement through the motel at all. Les mer

"Hotel Beachwood"
The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. I had a question about directions and the individual at the front desk spent 15 minutes mapping out a route so that I knew where I was going which was very kind of him. The room was very clean and organized and the cleaning staff was very respectful. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety […] of assortments and the dining area was displayed a warm ambiance. "Wonderful staff and service"
Excellent stay with assistance by hotel staff on local travel by public trains and buses. Very responsive to questions and to any requests . The hotel was well maintained and was able to comfortably accommodate full hotel booking in public areas such as breakfast. We were able to print our boarding passes easily on the day of departure.
"Friendly Staff -- Close to restaurants"
We stayed in this hotel for our anniversary. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We had no complaints... We will be booking again the next time we're in the Cleveland area.

"Nice Hotel"
We were traveling with our newborn and needed to stay in a hotel that was clean. In addition we also wanted our hotel to have complimentary wi-fi access in the room along with complimentary breakfast. This hotel provided it all and then some. There were great restaurants in all price ranges available. The pool and sauna were great after a long day in […] meetings. The breakfast wasn't too bad but good enough for a quick meal on the go. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The location is in a great/safe area and not far from attractions downtown. We are definitely going to stay here again. The Hapmton Inn and Suites is in a very good location right off the highway. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. bed was very comfortable. Great hot free hot breakfast buffet with fresh waffles.

If you're from out of state visiting your student in the Cleveland area or for business, this is the best place to stay very accessible to the freeway, their free breakfast starts off your day right the staff is very helpful in giving directions to get around the city room is very clean excellent location. Exercise room & indoor pool w/ hot tub is perfect […] after a long day. Price is affordable too. If you're checking in very late & you're a non-smoker make sure a non-smoking room has been really reserved for you. Les mer
"Family Reunion"
Stayed here with 2 kids and several other family groups. Room was large (we went for the suite option) and had a kichen area. Pool was fantastic, breakfast was very large and well stocked, even on Sunday when it was a full crowd. They offered a snack shop as well. Our only "issue" was they ran out of towels at the pool, but they refilled before we left […] the pool area. Highly recommend. Les mer

"Excellent Stay"
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and professional. Pool was open later than most (10 pm at the time of our stay) and the included breakfast was nicely put together. Hotel was conveniently located next to restaurants, shops and main roads.

"Worth the money"
Sometimes it is worth is to spend the extra money. Staying here was a perfect example. I was originally staying at the Super 8 across the street- I felt unsafe, there was rust everywhere and was filthy. It was worth the money to stay here and have an excellent stay.

Staff were very pleasant- even when the hotel was completely booked. Breakfast was nice. Lots of restaurants nearby. Overall a very good stay. One of my relatives (in a separate room had a problem with an inebriated guest) but the hotel did take care of this
Very nice, clean room, quiet location & very friendly staff
it was close to the sites we wanted to see in cleveland. it was close to several good restaurants and good shopping places ( legacy village and beachwood place ) . was right off the I-271, so it was easy to get to. breakfasts were very good. overall, a great place. people were very friendly as well.

"Bad experience"
I have reserved non-smoking room 2 months ago for my son's graduation ceramony. I checked in late at 11PM and the counter person did not tell me I got the smoking room. When I open the room door, I could smell the bad cigarett smoke. I called the counter and I was told there is no more non-smoking room available. Of course I can not cancel the room […] and get the refund. She did not even apologize. I felt bad. I could smell the smoke on the blankets whenever I trun around. The next day, I saw two bus loads of high school students in the breakfast area. I guess they sold all the non-smoking rooms to this group and ignored the previous non-smoking reservations. It was a bad experience. I would not recommend the attitude of this hotel personnel. Les mer
