Hotellet ligger midt i Sonoma Valley og er et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å oppleve flotte vingårder, drikke god vin og nyte deilige dager i solen. Servicen er korrekt og hyggelig, rommene store og komfortable, treningsrom, basseng og uteområder ypperlig vedlikeholdt. Restauranten er både koselig holder høy kvalitet. Spesielt vil vi framheve frokosten, selv om man faktisk må bestille bord og beregne litt ventetid om morgenen. For golfere betyr det også en del at hotellet ligger mellom to gode golfbaner og gjestene får rabatt. Den dagen vi ankom ble vi endog invitert på rimelig "farmers" evening, med ølsmaking, servering av lokale spesialiteter og deilg mat med masse øl til....

Dette hotelle overrasker, det er rent og det ser bra ut. Det er opptil norsk standard og man betaler litt over halv pris. Det er et basseng, og et treningsrom, men treningsrommet var ikke mye å skryte av dessverre, men det er en fin sti bak hotellet man kan gå eller jogge. Hotellet hadde meget bra frokost og den varte en stund. Det er kort vei til alt og man hører heller ikke noe støy utenfra, noe som kan være et problem ved andre hoteller. Det er kort vei til mall og outlet og det er i god stand. Servicen er også veldig bra her, de hjelper deg med det meste.

Stort fint rom, rent og pent. Kort gång avstand til Discovery Kingdom. Frokost rommrt var kansje noe for liten, tatt i betraktning antall gjester.

We stayed here the night this property transitioned to a Motel 6. It used to be a privately owned motel called the Napa Valley Redwood Inn. The transition to Motel 6 seemed to be a little stressful to the staff, with the new computer system and everything. However, the accommodations were exactly what they had been when we had stayed previously: simply […] adequate. The price is right, our small dog is welcome, the location is convenient to restaurants, groceries, Target, downtown Napa, and the freeway. We will probably stay here again, in the hopes that becoming a Motel 6 won't have totally erased the small-town, independent vibe this place has. Les mer
"This is a Motel 6"
There is no Redwood Inn. It's been taken over by Motel 6. While the rooms were freshly painted, the bedding was not quite as comfortable as other motels. Also, pillows need to be replaced. The location was convenient and right off the highway making access to Napa and the surrounding area, easy. Nice staff, nice motel but with a sort of weird smell in the rooms. Other than that, I'm very pleased!

"convenient, but expensive for what you get"
quality of hotel service - the receptionist had to be 16 and was mildly unprofessional. also not very friendly. saw very little other staff, besides a maid once or twice. condition of the hotel - definitely old an dingy... which leads into to my next comment. cleanliness of my room - it SEEMED clean, but it was so old and dingy, it didn't really FEEL […] clean. a funny smell underneath the usual 'hotel room smell' lingered about. bathroom had black mold all around the shower door and didn't smell particularly clean, though visibly it looked clean besides the mildew. comfort of my room - it was small, old, hard mattress you can feel the springs in easily, old tv. the heater worked awesome, but it was rather noisy. fridge was also really noisy, and the walls are very thin, so i was listening to my neighbors half the evening. convenience of location - extremely convenient and i guess that's what you are paying for in the end. just off the 12 highway, a local market across the street with miscellaneous other shops, or walk a little farther and hit up target, starbucks, trader joes, and lots of other stores/restaurants. surrounding neighborhood - nicely developed and plenty of things easily within walking distance (1 mile). overall rating - 3, but i could really give it a 2. i really don't feel that my room was worth even a quarter of what i paid. i have to assume that the location is what keeps the place booked. "Continental Breakfast"
Was told that free continental breakfast would be available but when I went to the dining area, there is a sign no longer being offered. You should have taken this "free offer" off your website.
I stayed at The Redwood Inn in Napa right of the highway and it was great. It is in a convenient location because you are close enought to town that if you need to go to Target or a grocery store thay are just down the street. More than anything I love that it's located right next to the highway so you can just hop on and drive to St. Helena to do wine […] tasting. I will always stay at the Redwood Inn. Les mer
The front desk lady did not seem very competent. Was a good hotel to stay for cheap one night, but if someone would like to experience more napa flavor should choose another place

"Perfect for Spending the Night"
This place was great! Exactly what we needed which was a place to sleep. The maid kept yelling "ROOCLEE" through the door which was annoying, but the lady at the desk was so friendly. You can go get drunk at the Marriot too.

Expected a little more. Room was clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Refrigerator and microwave were nice to have, but no coffee maker. Coffee available in lobby with breakfast items. Got locked out of room Sat night because they only keyed our cards for one night instead of two. Then they charged an additional night on my Amex, credited it back, but only […] gave me a receipt for the credit. Confusing. Location is ok. Looking for a nicer place (bicer looking, better beds) for next year in the same price range. Les mer
"Clean & adequate"
A little "old" for what we had to pay, but clean and quiet. We realize that it is "Napa" during the summer. When we left, there were no vancanies.

Perks: free parking, pool, free breakfast, friendly staff. It's just an ordinary hotel, nothing fancy, it's a clean place to stay a night. The hotel's not very new and I noticed the walls, A/C, fridge, etc. were somewhat old (but functional).

The hotel for the price was less than anticipated. I expected there would at least be an elevator to get up and down. Because I had a large bag, it made it difficult for me to drag bag up and down the stairs. The staff was very friendly. The business cards for taxi were outdated and the food in the morning was cheap. I would recommend to friends that might want to be close to the golf course, and close to the wine train. From outside this hotel does not look like much, and from the color scheme the rooms look as if they have not been remodeled in years, but the room was clean, the staff was friendly and the location is convenient without being in the center of everything. "perfect cheap, clean stay for a wedding"
This was the perfect fit for a quick, one-night stay in Napa for slightly-out-of-town wedding. Close to the highway, clean, cheap, grocery store right across the street, and everyone was nice. They also let us check in about 2 hours early to get ready for the early afternoon wedding.

Not a bad place to stay if you plan on being out and about, not just sitting in the hotel room... We checked in and went wine tasting, then to dinner. After that, we headed to some bars and really, we just slept in the room, which was overall pretty clean. Worth the $$

The Motel was old and tired. I was embarrased to have my friends pick me up there. They thought I was really trying to save money and I always am, but when they learned how much I paid per nights stay, they thought I could have done much better. They could skip the continental breakfast and reduce the rate, because it was very undrevalue.

"Kind of out of the way"
Hotel is a spruced up motel of days gone by. Everything seemed clean and fresh. The ventilation in the room was bad, and the temperature was way too hot. The temp was controlled by a central station in the office, so a little inconvenient to have to call to change things. The property is a quick drive to things, but nothing really in walking distance. "Get what you pay for."
Bed are not good for two adults being that they are right up against the wall so you are constantly movie to let the other person in or out of bed. Hotel in conveniently located right off the main highway with plenty of places to eat, shop and with easy access to Hwy 29 and the wineries. Our only complaint was no room between the beds and the wall, […] oh yes and not enough outlets. I would definetly stay again and recommend it. Not a bad hotel. The woman behind the desk at the evening check in was great. Very helpful and insightful on local attractions. We went during the first rainstorm of the year, and there was a leak from the roof dripping in the wall all night. Not exactly their fault.
