Knights Inn Middletown - Middletown

Room 25, cold & heating system noisy. Still was able to sleep, though. Very clean and staff was nice.

Overall good...cheaper than usual but that might be because of off season...We did not stay much in the hotel so did not use much of the service....the rooms were very clean comfortable..

Very convinient location with good price. Not a romantic place to be but definitely nice place to stay with friends. Rooms were fairly clean. Some hav worn out bed springs. Breakfast wasnt bad. Coffee n tea, bagel muffin. I would go again.

the hotel needs to be restored. if it were brought back to it's original condition it would be a great hotel.

It was good. I was looking for a place to sleep and close to all attractions and that's what I found.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Knights Inn over Easter Weekend 2012. It is a classic two-story wood shore view motel/hotel, with a wonderful second floor porch and great view of the waterfront. Stayed for just one night on the way from Boston to RI. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Newport, there is nothing around it - wide open space with some view. Reasonably clean, outdated indeed but I did not care. Not inspiring but simple, cheap and straightforward. Will stay again

The Knighs inn was clean but in need of a facelift. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights but left after the first night. The heating system is so old it made really loud noises and we could not sleep all night. The hotel clerk promised a full refund but when Hotels.com call them they charged us for the one night. They should stick to opening for the summer […] months and spare anyone for a sleepless night. Thank you, Janice Les mer

We have stayed there before a year apart and both times have found it a simple, no frills accommodation with a fantastic view and very convenient for Newport. We have stayed in many motel rooms which have a musty uninviting smell but this did not. Clean, comfy bed, nice sheets, pillows good (no smell). It could use some renovation but that is reflected […] in the low price which is excellent. Very friendly helpful staff. Room was the perfect temperature-not too hot or too cold. The pipes did make a knocking noise at night which might bother a more sensitive person than me, but there is no traffic sound which was great. Will definitely stay there again. Les mer

The hotel may have seen better days, but the prices charged for the standard were ok. However, the view and feeling on a sunny morning were great and I would recommend this hotel for anyone that isn't in need for "too much comfort".

Warm,cozy and Relaxing. Still has the feelof a real New England Beach Motel. With and Unbelievable View and an awesome, friendly Staff.......This Motel is an unbelievable bargain.In addition to great , clean rooms...it has...Location..Location...Locationj!!

This was a nice hotel for the price. The staff were friendly. Free bagels, muffins and coffee in the AM. Very close to Newport. Not fancy but a fine place to stay for the night!

I grew up in Newport and was home for the wedding of my nephew. I've lived in Tampa for the past 29 yrs and worked just retired from the state. I had never been on the grounds of the Sea View and was surprised by the great view of the Big Pond and 1st Beach. The location is great for beach goers because your in the middle of 1st and 2nd beaches. If […] you like to eat well Anthony's , the Atlantic Grill and the Atlantic Beach Club are all right next door. Had a great time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Older hotel in a good location.

The room we stayed in needs to be updated mostly the bathroom.

If your looking for a confortable and inexpensive hotel this is it. Don't look for anything special. A shuttle service for $ 8 dollars is provided to the Newport downtown area. They even include a breakfast set up in the morning. ( Nothing special just some bagels, muffins and coffee, to get you going ).... :)

Great location. Much to be desired regarding cleanliness and maintenance.

There were an unacceptable number of bugs that flew in at night when the door was opened and closed. We tried to get everything we needed in one trip to avoid having to open the door more than once. It could feel cleaner, but there was no obvious sign of neglect. It's just old. The bathroom and bed linens were as clean as any more expensive hotel. There […] is a field in front where bunnies come out to have their dinner at dusk. That was a pleasant surprise. The free breakfast left much to be desired: OJ, coffee, 2 kinds of muffins, bagels, some fruit, and oatmeal. I was very disappointed that the independtly operated property was sold to the Knight's Inn chain between the time I booked and our actual stay, but the staff was fantastic. The view of the sea was just the same as it is in the picture. It isn't breathtaking, but it's pleasant. If I went low budget again, that's where I would stay. Les mer

This hotel looked like a motel straight out of a scary movie...one of 3 lights worked in the room, the bathroom light did not!! It is very close and convenient to center of Newport but very dirty and sketchy!

The room had a musty smell to it. The bed was worn out. Gave me a back ache. The room needed some upgrade. New furnishings perhaps. Hey, but the television worked. The view was great and it was close to town. I understand it was recently purchased by someone.

Check out the cliff walk its really even in walking distance from the hotel. Was a good hotel for the pric

Fraansettt den trista frukosten (american junk food) saa var det bra. Trevlig personal, hjaertlig staemning, stort rum, tyst, rent osv. Kan absolut rekommenderas!
