AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN - Biddeford

My wife and I were very disappointed with our stay at the Americas Best Value Inn. We asked for non smoking, but the room smelled like cigarettes, and there was a brown stain on one of the sheets. There were only 2 pillows in the entire room, and the bed was stiff. We should of paid $50 more and stayed at the Comfort Inn down the street, but I thought […] I was doing a good thing by saving money. I guess I got what I paid for. I will never stay at the Americas Best Value Inn again. I told all my friends and co workers about my experience they, and they all agree that I should of paid the extra $50 for a more comfortable stay. Les mer

This hotel appeared to be a refurbished older hotel. The price was reasonable for our purpose which was to have a comfortable, clean place to sleep near our relatives in Biddeford. We did not spend much time at the hotel, other than sleeping. The only down side would be that we heard other guests walking around next door and upstairs, not a big problem, […] and the air conditioner did not work. It was quite warm in our room and being two females, we did not want to open the window during the night, although it probably would have been fine. The new mattresses were some of the most comfortable I have slept on in awhile. I would recommend this hotel to others. A car is a necessity to see the area. Les mer

Great location for all attractions in Portland and Old Orchard Beach area with short distance to the Maine Mall. This motel is the best bargain I have found and I highly recomend it to everyone. Tripple A members get a great price. Friendly staff and great service in a spotless clean room.The price is so low you can afford your own breakfast at Duncan, […] McDonalds etc all nearby free coffee in the office.I intended to stay several days but stayed a week everything was so near the location . Clean comfortable stay. Front desk staff helpful in recommending area restaurants. No continental breakfast. No computer in lobby.

It was okay for the price and discount offer. The beds were very comfortable, but the front desk/office smells really bad.

We were only staying for one night. The location of the hotel was very accessible. It was a clean room. The only problem was when I went to check in, the price that I booked it for was different from what they charged me because I did not have AAA. The clerk did not honor the price that I had booked it for. That was very disappointing. I ended up paying […] more for the room than I wanted to. Les mer

In 4 nights of hotels this was the most expensive and the worst hotel. Dirty , WiFi only on second floor or in parking lot, Bed hard only two towels and both very thin and the 2 pillows were flat. Offered continental breakfast on internet only coffee, Very dissatisfied.

I didn't have any real issues with the hotel;you get what you pay for. I needed a place in southern Maine to sleep for the night that was going to be close to Salem,Ma.(my destination the next day). The guy at the desk who checked us in was very nice. He gave us directions to Old Orchard Beach as well. The room was a basic older motel room,with basic […] amenities. We had a a refrigerator,a t.v.,a bed and a hot(or cold)shower. The a/c was perfect too. The only suggestion I would tell people is bring an extra pillow. Both of ours were flat. Overall,I was happy and yes,I would stay there again if I were passing through again. For the price we paid,it was perfect . Just ok but clean. Had problem with english speaking but after asking for someone, we were ok.

The room was very basic. Reasonably clean. The bathroom could use some work. People pacing on the 2nd floor causes quite a bit of noise in the room below. Located at the end of the main shopping area so lots of restaurants, stores, etc close by. Traffic wasn't too bad. I was alone and looking for a good location and a clean place that was affordable. It was clean,affordable close to everything and cheap.My only complaint was the bed wasn't real comfortable and I could everything up stairs and out side. Not the best value! The front desk service was horrible. The room was basic and affordable, but I have stayed in more economical places that offered more comfort and better customer service.

Clean. Quiet location, easy to find. Near to food and Target. Nice location btw beaches and shopping. Very nice man at service desk. Most importantly....clean!
